This is an interesting place where you can see a fusion of Italian, Mediterranean, and other cuisines. I think it's unique how the owners decided to bring a little bit of everything to the table. We stuck to the Mediterranean dishes, and they were delicious. The flavors were on point and definitely the highlight of our visit. My date and I were looking for a nice restaurant that we hadn't been to before so we stoped by Barcellos to eat. I ordered a pizza with extras such as veggies which was my mistake by not asking the price then my date ordered a mushroom burger with fries were extra they didn't come with the burger. The merinerra sauce was horrible too vinigery the meat had no flavor I could have gone to Little Ciezars and enjoyed it more! We were going to order mojitos but all of the drinks are mocktails so we got the mint lemonade instead. It was very refreshing. They do not serve any alcohol and do not have iced tea. I got the butter chicken pizza which was incredible! I want to go back just for that. A little spicy and a flavor explosion. Hubby got the chicken Parmesan. It comes with Caesar salad and two slices of soft, cheesy garlic bread. The bread cutlet of chicken sits atop a huge portion of spaghetti with meat sauce, then it's covered in cheese and broiled. My wife and I have tried many of the halal options in Sugar Land but thought to give Barcellos a try. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. The chicken tikka pizza was probably one of the best we have tried in Houston, worth a try! We also got the chicken espetada mild, reminded us of Peli Peli in the Galleria (RIP), taste was very tender and I would try it again with a different flavor next time. They have a large selection of non-alchoholic mocktails and fun drinks, the Pina colada was very good and excited to try their other options. The pizza was delicious but the dough was undercooked. I ordered a baked potato. It had hard butter in the single serving packets on the side and a small side cup of sour cream about 2 Tbsp. The potato was hard and undercooked and smothered in nacho cheese with some dill sprinkled on top. The menu was a broad range of Greek, Italian, and middle eastern. (You can't just order only flats) which I can deal with but when the consistency of the chicken is like rubber and the only flat in the 8 is either over cooked or not expired. The mozzarella sticks my husband ordered, I took a bite.... The cheese tasted as if it was still frozen. Definitely not somewhere I plan to come again.
