Started going to this location when they first opened. Stopped because the attitude is so lax now. Employees not as friendly as when they opened. Decided to try them after a few years, and things have gotten even worse. No greeting when you come in, employees dis-interested in the customers and it seems like a chore to make your pizza. The music is way to loud as you can hardly hear them when they call your name out to pick up your order. My pizza was all burned around the edge, and I mentioned it to the employee, and he said he would make another one if I wanted! Hey...how about making it RIGHT the FIRST TIME so I would not have to wait again??? Also the AC was blasting and it was only 62 degrees outside, and it was sooo cold that my nose started to run half way through eating! So will I be returning anytime soon? Literally a great place to grab lunch or dinner, dine in or take out. I love their online ordering it's so convenient. Totally reminds me of Subway you pick your own ingredients or pick from their menu which also includes salads. The pizza is made super fast on their gas fired ovens taste super fresh. I mostly order the Dillon James, or sometimes create my own. They have a nice size drink menu which has something for everyone, root beer floats, shakes, beer, fountain drinks, and lemonades with a twist. read more

I really like MOD Pizza. There are a lot of these fast pizza joints in Tucson now. The pizza is thin crust and loads of toppings to choose from like Brussels sprouts, bell peppers and black olives. I enjoy that I can put extra red sauce on in the end for an extra kick for free. They also offer the typical Daiya cheese. I highly recommend checking out this pizza place. Very fast service. Perfect for lunch breaks. I do not have one bad thing to say about it. The staff was super friendly. The whole establishment was clean and attended to. The food was good and the price was awesome. Let's start with Kacey (or Casey). She was the one in charge of making my pizza and she went above and beyond. I let her know it was my first time and she took care of me. She reassured me multiple times that I would not be charged extra for anything on my pizza. I went there intending to get a pepperoni pizza and what I ended up ordering was something so much greater and it's all thanks to Kacey and her amazing customer service. I got a pepperoni, sausage, and bacon pizza with mozzarella cheese topped with oregano. I also was given ranch on the side. All at no additional charge! It looked and tasted great. This place is great if you walk-in or eat-in your order will be perfect (probably because you're supervising). However, if you place a pick-up order (online) it will most likely be wrong. On 11/24 I placed a pick-up order and they missed 6 out of 8 vegetables I wanted on my pizza. (I picked up multiple orders so I didn't notice til' i got back to work.) My first visit today. I got the Mad Dog (pepperoni, sausage and beef) 11-inch for take-out. It's a good pizza. On the plus side, the setup is kind of like Subway in that you order in line and the toppings are all visible through the glass. You can combine a huge variety of toppings and they all looked very fresh. The flavor is good and the crust is tender and thin. It's barely over $8 with tax and ready in well under ten minutes. My main complaint would be that it's skimpy on toppings. Six slices of pepperoni on an eleven inch pizza is pretty weak. Since there are three toppings on a Mad Dog, I thought it was their way of balancing them, but the sausage and beef were scarce too. Husband and I came here, new choose your own topping pizza place. We like pizza studio and this place is close to us so we thought we'd try it too. Great service and product! Smiling workers, polite and happy. They had great options and the different sizes of pizzas is a nice option. They don't have choices of crust like pizza studio does, but the crust is still good. A little thicker, but still a thin crust. My favorite combination is: pesto, mozzarella, garlic, pepperoni, bacon, spicy Italian sausage, mushrooms, roasted asparagus (pizza studio doesn't have this, at least last I remember), artichokes (better than pizza studio), pineapple. The artichokes at pizza studio have more "leaves" and they pull them apart and drop them around the pizza which is fine! We were greeted promptly by the team behind the counter. Initially, I didn't see their menu on the wall before getting up and placing my order ( I typically order from it since it has great recommendations.) I believe the manager helped create my masterpiece, I chose the proton and veggies and she recommended cheeses, spices, other veggies etc...and the pizza was terrific! Keep in mind we came in on a Saturday to a location near the mall with a lot of back to school shoppers. We decided to try Mod Pizza today for lunch. We have been to other restaurants that are similar in concept in both Tucson and Phoenix. Here are our feelings on Mod Pizza: Positives: DELICIOUS pizza! The crust was tasty as were the ingredients. I enjoy this type of restaurant because my wife and I can share a pizza and I can get tomatoes and mushrooms on my half! (And she doesn't have to pick them off) Fairly easy ordering process. Good signage as to what is available to add. Different size crust!! This was huge for us as we have a 3 year old daughter. We were able to get her her own cheese pizza! Negatives: My biggest gripe is the yelling out of names for orders when the order is done. I prefer Fired Pie's level of service of bringing your food to you. The pizza came cut in 1/4s instead of 1/8s. I had a lot of toppings on my half and had to get a knife to cut the pieces smaller. Honestly such a great place! A coworker recommended it to me after talking about trying phonic and he told me to go here instead and I'm so glad I did! I've only been a handful of times, but each time they have been quick and consistent and the pizzas have always been delicious. The staff is also so nice, there was an issue with my card and even though I offered to go and get my other card, they said it was ok and that they'd just comp it for me, which most if not almost all places would never do.
