The food is good, but the price concerns me. I went to Mod Pizza with my wife and stepdaughter. We each had a mod-sized (or regular) pizza, and one of us ordered a fountain drink. The cost was $47. If there had been four of us and we had each ordered a fountain drink, the cost would have easily been between $70 and $80 for personal pan pizzas at a fast casual restaurant. That is too much for most working-class families, and much more expensive than it would have cost to order pizza and appetizers from Domino's. The service I had was unbelievable, these two rude workers should not be working at this job. When me and my partner were walking in to make an order to go, the worker in the first photo said they were not going to serve us because they had a "slow" day and decided to close up early. The website states it doesn't close until 10, if a is open until a certain time you would except to still be served and not be given a rude attitude, do people want to work for free now ? When asked for a manger and to get a number worker said he was the manger and they don't have a number. I think this was honestly the worst service ever and I would highly recommend for them to get a new job, if the cannot work the hours then they might as well find a new job that fits there schedule. The light skinned with the long dreads did not have his hair tied up or a hat on. He did not use gloves when he put the pizza in the oven. He tried to take a pizza out the oven and it broke in half cause the pizza toppings to fall off and burn. Then walked off and went to the back. The staff was friendly but also seemed in a rush. I was ordering two pizzas and the worker automatically was going to make them identical even though I said ahead of time that they would be different. The worker put the same sauce on both when that is not what I wanted. They were able to fix it and start over to correct the mistake. The only reason I keep returning is that when I'm in the mood for pizza it's in walking distance from my hotel and I'm a glutton for punishment. I quickly realized it was a build your own pizza place and I told her it was my first time here. She seemed so rushed to take my order and could care less that I was new and unsure of the flow. So I quickly said I like a pizza for each member of the family. She sauces our crusts then asked what we would like on them. I guess we were going too slow and she started helping the people behind me and put our pizzas to the side. A mini pizza was around $5 (and they offer a military discount with proper identification). The pizza was so fresh tasting. I have never had thin crust so as a first timer I'll have to say I've been missing out all my life. My pizza consisted of chicken, white sauce, and mozzarella cheese. I was no chef Boyardee entering MODS But now I KNOW I can give Rachel Ray (not Becky with the good hair)a run for her money. My pizza was in and out the brick oven thing within minutes.
