I have ordered from MOD pizza numerous times. I really want to like them but I also really wish they would be consistent with delivering good pizza. I swear,1 out of every 4 orders are either wrong, overcooked, undercooked, or lacking expectations - like the personal pizza we ordered for our daughter. It was a simple Cheese pizza. Not something you can really screw up but yet, MOD pizza managed to do just that. What was delivered looked like a cheese tortilla. No red sauce, the crust was so flat, I actually thought it was made from cheese, not dough. This most recent order was a simple 11 inch Thick crust pepperoni with extra cheese. It was delivered cold, the pizza was over cooked and there was barely or no cheese on 3 of the 6 pieces. I really really want to like them. I really do but they have let me down more often then not. Another frustrating thing is if you order from a delivery service and report a quality issue, their response is "noted...we'll share it with the restaurant" and the MOD pizza app doesn't have an area for customer service. Add to it, if you call the restaurant, as I have before, I was told they'd "add a credit to my account" and to tell them that next time I call to place an order. There are too many other pizza places around to accept this type of inconsistency from a restaurant. read more

Enough of Pie Five, lets talk about MOD Pizza!!! Love it! Really enjoy the ambiance, the art on the wall, the low key atmosphere and grunge like setting. Reminds me of a relaxed pizzeria. The toppings are top notch, starting from the sauces bay where you can get ricotta cheese, what a great offering. Followed the bar of MEATS - if you're a meat love this spot is the dream. Close behind is the fruit and veggies that you can had which is pretty diverse. Appreciate the quality of all the items. Our son is a spice fanatic and their Serrano peppers are top notch. Recently we tried visiting but they've been listed as Temporarily Closed. Given the pandemic it could be temporary while they await an exposure. I have not placed an order with mod in a year or so because the last time, I paid for delivery and a tip and my order was wrong. My only option was to drive to the store and get it corrected. They did not refund my delivery or tip. I decided to give them another chance last Friday, same thing, paid and tipped Grub Hub, the name and description of my order was on the box correctly but when I opened the box it was not what I ordered at all! After calling the store 4 times I get a human, not a voicemail. It was around 2:30 so not a busy time. The girl immediately blamed the GH driver, saying he grabbed the wrong order. I insured her the name on the box and ingredients listed were correct and that someone at MOD pizza mislabeled the box. She said well you can come to the store and we will give you the correct pizza. So I'm originally from Baton Rouge, LA where we have this restaurant called Lit Pizza that I absolutely love & I was looking for somewhere similar & I think I found that place! I found Mod Pizza looking through Yelp & decided to stop by as I am completely burnt out on cooking. I got the Lucia pizza which has the spicy red sauce, pepperoni, basil & ricotta. Let me tell you.... amazing!!! I added some bacon & roasted garlic. The server added a little dipping cup of pesto for me too. Amazing flavor, hot of course & super cheesy which I love. The pizza tasted okay but was almost ice cold. This is the first time using door dash and the first time any delivery service missed our front door. Amazon, FedEx, UPS, and the postal service are all able find our front door but Door Dash delivered to our back door after passing our house and turning on a side street to reach our back door. *Update* - 11/9/19: Decided to try this place again now they have been open awhile. Ordered the same pizzas but this time they were burnt on the edges. The char ruins the taste of the pizza so I was not happy with this visit. They were busy so they decided to serve burnt pizzas rather than make them right. It also took five minutes of standing at the front register to get a worker's attention to get a cup for water as they hadn't restocked their normal supply. *Original Review* This place serves a great personal sized pizza. I tried their "Mad Dog" pizza which has pepperoni, Mild Sausage and Hamburger. Their "Mod" or regular crust is thin like a cracker but has a thicker outer crust with a nice chew to it. The pizza here was great (crust was soooo good)! They make it right in front of you, and you can choose what you want on it. Took less than 10 minutes to make and it was delicious. Flat price for the pizzas and they don't charge extra for toppings. A regular sized pizza here was enough to fill you up. Good environment, and one of the staff gave us a free 'no name cake' (which is a fresh cake similar to a Ding Dong) and it was really good. We will be coming back often! My grandson recommended this place for pizza. I was very hesitant at first because I have my regular place that I've been going to for years,. But it was really good! First time trying mod pizza and it won't be out last. Had the create your own with pepperoni, basil, mushrooms, and fresh Serrano peppers. I liked that they had this option for some good spicy heat. They mixed up our order and gave us the wrong pizza with some Buffalo sauce, but they quickly remade it and even gave us the one with Buffalo sauce and some cakes for the mix up. Btw, the Buffalo sauce on pizza was new to me and good as well. Great customer service and will definitely come back. read more

First of all, the font choice they use for their logo makes it look like MOO Pizza, so of course that's what we call it now. Our first experience wasn't great, with the person taking our order making us feel bad for asking for pepperoni on our kids' pizza because that would (somehow) prevent that pizza from contributing to some charity donation. What the heck? Why would the addition of ONE topping prevent the company from donating to a charity. But I digress. We had some other problems on our first visit too, but customer service gave us two pizzas on the house. Nice resolution. Now I hope they paid attention to the processes that caused me to contact them in the first place. What prevents us from going back is that their competitor (Pie Five) has child-sized pizzas and combos that our kids love, that Pie Five has salads and combo pizzas and salads, and that they have dessert pizzas. All of these things are missing from MOO Pizza. If they decide to add them in the future, I will consider returning. read more

Very busy on a Friday night . Maybe this was their first Friday night . Then when we got home the pizza was not good. We ask that our pizzas be cooked well, and it wasn't. All the meats were lumped in the middle of the pizza and since it was lumped the middle it was still cold. I must have punched three instead of two so they then told me to hang up and call back and punch 2. Nooo.... Not waiting again so went in to pick it up as that would be faster. The Dillon James was cracker thin ( we order this one often, never been like this) and scorched on underside, burned edges... the kids mega cheese was scorched on underside... no kid I know will eat scorched pizza. The food is still good, but the service and the cleanliness has gone south. I'm not sure if they are under new management or what the situation is but the last two times I visited the place was filthy. The glass between the servers making the pizza and the public was disgusting. The tables hadn't been wiped off and there was food all over the floors. As I sat and ate my pizza I watched a number of employees just cutting up and playing on their phones while the place remained filthy I am hopeful this will improve otherwise I won't remain a customer.
