Insalata de la Casa - Small

Place is well maintained and cleaned. Placed order to go. Service was friendly. Food didn't take long to make. Order east coast calamari and side salad. Food was good. Made fresh and not chewy. Wish I was here often so I could try them again. Thanks for the great experience as I visited Dallas.

Came with a group of colleagues after a meeting and we were all impressed. Staff was friendly and served us quickly. They have lunch specials that are filling, plus I had leftovers. Their pistachio pesto chicken pasta was delicious (but a bit oily). Their calzones are huge! Their truffle mushroom bruschetta was so good! They have a few halal options which is great for anyone who needs that. Definitely a place we'll be checking out again.

Visited this restaurant to try the chicken Alfredo and found hair in my food. I'm sure the other options on the menu might be better

Absolutely amazing/delicious. We had the Calzone and pizza. Both were delicious, tasty and very very delicious. It's also GREAT when the service is A+.

Overall a pretty good spot for a small group. We had 7 people on Sunday after church. Food was good. Nothing extraordinary but good solid stuff. We had pizzas, calzones, salads and the scampi. Good enough to go back and try some more.

Nice little spot in Eastside.. kind and attentive service. We only ordered pizzas, so I can't say anything about the pastas, but all of our pizzas were pretty enjoyable. The Truffle Burrata Prosciutto was a bit on the oily side, but was pretty good overall. Each 12" pizza was around 17-20 dollars, which is pretty average for most higher end pizzas.

New York village, Truffle burrata and prosciutto

We each got a slice on the way home!! Ordering was quick at the counter. The New York village was basically like a supreme, and we thought it wasn't that special. It almost took away the joy in eating a coal fired pizza. However, the truffle burrata and prosciutto--oh my goodness...it was amazing. The delicate flavors balanced so well with the coal fired dough. The cheese, truffle oil, and arugula made the pizza experience so gourmet. Would definitely come back for this one.

Went here on a Saturday night and disappointed with the service and food. They were short staffed I'm sure like everyone but it shouldn't take 15 mins for someone to address us for the first time at our table when there's people standing around behind the counter waiting on the phone to ring or someone to walk in and grab a to go order... we almost walked out. We weren't very hungry so ordered garlic knots and a cheese pizza. I will say the garlic knots were good, very flavorful. The cheese pizza was probably the worst cheese pizza I've ever had, had NO flavor. When I say no flavor I mean absolutely nothing, I thought I had Covid and couldn't taste my food for a minute! We were excited to try this place but was very disappointed, will not be returning.

The restaurant has a more upscale feel without being stuffy, with a warm ambiance, attentive service, and plenty of nearby parking, which makes the whole experience easy and enjoyable. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere struck a nice balance between casual and special occasion dining. My only complaint is the kids' menu. They offer kid-sized pasta options but surprisingly no kid-sized pizza at a pizza restaurant. It would be nice to have a smaller pizza option for little ones. Otherwise, a wonderful experience and definitely a place I'd return to.

Our experience started out on the wrong foot and did not get a whole lot better from there. The very pleasant person who greeted us told us to sit anywhere we like and she would follow us with menus. So, when we started to sit at a particular table a waiter flew across the room and told us,"No, not there, over here!". I guess he did not want us sitting at that table for some particular reason, but it was awkward at best, and unwelcoming. I am not one to usually play along with such games but for some reason I did this time, maybe because I have learned not to piss off people who are making my food. We ordered and I got the Aboca's Chicken, figuring a namesake dish would be a great choice. It wasn't. The garlic overpowered the other elements of the dish to the point where I could only eat a little less than half of it. Don't get me wrong, I love garlic, but this was too much. It was like the level of garlic where they might have forgotten they already put garlic in it and put more in...maybe even twice. Anyway, I don't regret trying the place, and I am actually glad I quieted some curiosities about the place, but this place is a one-timer for me

When I entered, I was rather uncertain. The space looks like a stereotypical pizzeria. I wasn't impressed at all, but I was too tired to leave. HOWEVER, my attitude quickly changed as I was greeted by the outstanding wait staff. Over the course of my visit, I was checked on several times by what seemed to be either the owners or managers. In the heart of a busy city, these men went the extra mile to make me feel like a welcomed guest in their home. It was a very nice experience. I ordered the lasagna on the server's recommendation. What a plate of food! The meat sauce was not skimpy at all....lots of beef and flavorful seasoning. The noodles were soft while still firm enough to maintain the shape. The generous portion and the really soft bread were a great dinner to bring a long day to an end. As a lover of Italian food, I plan to visit several area restaurants over this weekend. I have to admit that I'm thinking about returning to Besa's to try out some of the delicious pizza I saw during my visit. Excellent experience! I'll definitely be back.

Most Friday nights we order an X Large pizza and a few other menu items we pick up. The last couple of Friday's the pizza was a little dry. So, this past Friday, we ordered the X-large build your own, which included 3 toppings. We usually only add one topping and half of another on the pizza. In the comments, I asked if we could get a little extra sauce with a question mark. While I was driving to pick up the order, I saw an additional charge pop up for $1 that said customer requested. When I walked up to pick up my order, I asked about the charge. She said it was for the extra sauce. I asked if extra sauce would be counted as one of the 3 toppings and she said it wouldn't and a charge for extra sauce is automatically charged in their system. I said it seemed it would be covered by a topping, but ok. As I was walking out, I saw the owner walk up to the checkout person and I heard her say, "he's just mad we charged for extra sauce." I didn't appreciate that being said because I didn't raise my voice or do anything other than ask and say I thought the extra sauce should be covered since I was charged for a 3 topping pizza. I wasn't rude and I didn't use a negative tone. Overall, this was disappointing for a business we frequent. I'll know next time about extra sauce.
