Pizza was delicious! Crust is tasty, thin and not greasy. Not too much sauce, just the way we like it. I plan to be a regular customer!

Haven't had pizza this satisfying since I moved to TX. Great taste and excellent balance of all the ingredient's flavors. My go-to.

Great pizza. Had one just cheese and one pepperoni jalapeño and onion. Both were delicious. Ordered calamari but wasn't impressed.

Crust was soggy. Supreme skimped on sauce and toppings. Side of calamari was passable. waste of 30 bucks

We were going to try a pizza but we went with pasta dishes instead. She already had the lasagna before and ordered it again, I went with the chicken parmigiana. Both dishes were great, but I think I liked her lasagna better. Neither dish felt heavy even though it looked heavy. The food was just delicious. This was a pick up order and as soon as I walked in to pick it up I was immediately greeted at the door with a friendly smile. This is a place we are going back to for more great food and hospitality.

We had dinner for two on a Saturday night with no reservation and we were seated within 5 minutes. The service was probably one of the best I've experienced. The speed in which our meals came out was impressive; it came out hot and fresh. We got the Chicken Parmigiana and the Niko Special. The Niko Special was something of beauty, both visually and taste wise lol. The chef was on to something with that Vodka aurora sauce. It came with hot cherry peppers as well, but I didn't taste/feel the spice as much. The complimentary garlic rolls were amazing. My leftovers made for a second meal because of the generous portion size. Overall a great dining experience and such an extremely friendly staff. Kudos all around.

It is a family owned / staffed business! The food is fresh, hot, flavorful, and there is a variety to satisfy your tastebuds! From the garlic bread (add tomatoes too, mmmm) appetizer to the chefs favorite and every pasta & pizza selection on the menu, you won't be disappointed! Desserts? I'm glad you asked... you'll have a hard time selecting from an incredible list ... tiramisu, cheesecake, key lime pie, pumpkin pie... and more, mmmm you can't go wrong! It's a very quaint place with a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and tons of regulars! That alone tells you a lot... when a restaurant keeps people (like us) coming back, you know they're doing something right! Oh, BYOB Yes, Bring your own bottle, they're happy to uncork your bottle and provide glasses! Who does that any more? It helps that we knew exactly what we wanted. Honey bastard came out piping hot and the patio was clean and spacious. Glad to have been able to enjoy it before it gets too unbearable out there.

The restaurant was very clean (even the restroom) and comfortable with a small yet relaxing bar inside. Outside seating is covered from the sun with a small artificial grass area for the children to play. The menu has a nice choice of options with many specials. And a separate beverage menu to choose from as well. Our server Madison was great (so was the gentleman that seated us) attentive, upbeat & knowledgeable. We ordered two pies. The CBF on a gluten free crust. The pizza crust had nice texture & the chicken had a nice smoky taste but, overall a little dry. Definitely needed more smoked mozzarella & farmhouse toppings. I had the straight fire pizza & it was good but, I would prefer for the topping to be a bit more done. The toppings (especially the jalapeños) were still pretty fresh, barely cooked & because the crust is so thin, if you fire it too hot, the pie becomes well done and the toppings are undercooked. So, we're going with a 3.2 overall. Will definite try again. Enjoy!

When I entered, I was rather uncertain. The space looks like a stereotypical pizzeria. I wasn't impressed at all, but I was too tired to leave. HOWEVER, my attitude quickly changed as I was greeted by the outstanding wait staff. Over the course of my visit, I was checked on several times by what seemed to be either the owners or managers. In the heart of a busy city, these men went the extra mile to make me feel like a welcomed guest in their home. It was a very nice experience. I ordered the lasagna on the server's recommendation. What a plate of food! The meat sauce was not skimpy at all....lots of beef and flavorful seasoning. The noodles were soft while still firm enough to maintain the shape. The generous portion and the really soft bread were a great dinner to bring a long day to an end. As a lover of Italian food, I plan to visit several area restaurants over this weekend. I have to admit that I'm thinking about returning to Besa's to try out some of the delicious pizza I saw during my visit. Excellent experience! I'll definitely be back.

Most Friday nights we order an X Large pizza and a few other menu items we pick up. The last couple of Friday's the pizza was a little dry. So, this past Friday, we ordered the X-large build your own, which included 3 toppings. We usually only add one topping and half of another on the pizza. In the comments, I asked if we could get a little extra sauce with a question mark. While I was driving to pick up the order, I saw an additional charge pop up for $1 that said customer requested. When I walked up to pick up my order, I asked about the charge. She said it was for the extra sauce. I asked if extra sauce would be counted as one of the 3 toppings and she said it wouldn't and a charge for extra sauce is automatically charged in their system. I said it seemed it would be covered by a topping, but ok. As I was walking out, I saw the owner walk up to the checkout person and I heard her say, "he's just mad we charged for extra sauce." I didn't appreciate that being said because I didn't raise my voice or do anything other than ask and say I thought the extra sauce should be covered since I was charged for a 3 topping pizza. I wasn't rude and I didn't use a negative tone. Overall, this was disappointing for a business we frequent. I'll know next time about extra sauce.
