We love the past alforno. This is a great local spot. Always fast and cozy inside. My husband got a custom order and they helped him with it due to his diet needs

It's Wednesday date night and this week, we changed our regular location to moms favorite cuisine. We decided to go from our weekly Mexican place to Italian in Wylie. When you arrive, the first obstacle is parking since the restaurant is located on main street and it's not easy to back out when you leave, if you find a spot close to the restaurant. This is a seat yourself place and a few minutes in, our server brought us our menus. Since I've been eating carnivore for a bit, it was difficult to find something to eat. Mom selected ravioli and I got the chicken salad with 2 sides sausage and meatballs. While we waited for our meals, our server brought us warm bread. No this fat guy did not pull a Homer Simpson and salivate then eat it in seconds. Second obstacle, the portion size doesn't match the price-i don't feel i need to elaborate just look at the pictures. Mom liked her Ravioli. My chicken was dry and the sausage/meatballs portions were covered in sweet red sauce. There goes my carnivore with the sauce which overpowered the two sides of meat. Our server checked on us which was good. This was an average experience especially at almost $50 for two.

Very disappointed. The combo plate. She shell was dry and hard. The lasagne was flat and stuck to the bottom of the plate.

Amazing food, service, ambiance! Best mimosas I've had, real smooth and delicious and the food was also amazing and made super fresh! I will definitely be back here again, my family and I left extremely satisfied.

This sweetheart came table to table visiting with customers and answered questions about the wonderful cuisine.

Three of us ordered special spaghetti, the antipasto salad, and the pasta alforno. The meal came with garlic rolls and we added a side order of marinara for dipping. It was tangy and light, NOTHING like a canned or bottled sauce. The rolls were a bit dense, but EVERYTHING else was WONDERFUL! We shared all of the dishes, but the winner was the antipasto salad with its ham and salami pinwheels and the absolute BEST house dressing. Although he didn't introduce himself, I think it was the owner, came around to see if everything was good and answer questions. He even let me guess the ingredients of that dressing! We will definitely return as we had no room for the house-made tiramisu and really wished we had. Maybe a cup of cappuccino and dessert on our next visit. Service was great. Our server was attentive but not bothersome. The decor of the restaurant was pleasant with wine bottles lining the ceiling molding around the entire circumference of the dining room, antique pressed metal ceiling tiles, and origami chandeliers which spun delicately above us. The quiet ambiance was casual enough for a family dinner while quaint enough for an intimate date night. We had an all-around delightful visit to a lovely restaurant. Villa Vinci is a MUST if you've never been.

The food was amazing! For our appetizer, we shared the Bruschetta. The bread was slightly crispy with a soft, buttery inner. Topped with tomato and olive oil in perfect amounts, every bite was better than the previous. We had the Chicken Calabrese and Lobster Ravioli, both were very delicious and had lovely flavor notes. We also had a few of their new Italian inspired cocktails. The Cosmoplita and Italian Coffee were beautiful variations of the traditional Irish Coffee and Cosmopolitan. Besides what we indulged in, the service was top notch. The owner, Mida has immaculate attention to detail and care for her restaurant. This beautiful hole in the wall is a must try. We promise you will not regret it. My partner and I will definitely be back. Great date spot.

We also received a complementary hummus because we had to wait a while due to the rice not being cooked yet. I didn't mind and the server was really kind to us. The absolute star of the menu is the Greek fries. The garlic sauce that is used is one of the best garlic sauces I have tried. The crinkle cut fries are the perfect choice as the vessel of flavors for the garlic, feta, seasonings, and fresh parsley. I would go out of my way to get these fries. The vegetarian plate has a great balance of different options. The falafel was light and crisp with a great flavor. The dolmas were not too sour and I really enjoyed it. The baba ganoush had a mild smoky flavor that I really liked and really needed in this dish!! The pickles were flavorful and had a good crunch. The hummus was nutty and creamy. My only problem with this dish was the surprisingly small portion of rice. It needed double the rice to help with the portions of all the other elements. The gyro plate was very good however the portion of meal was surprisingly small. I read reviews about how they filled their plates with good portions of meat and toppings however the amount we were served felt like we were being rationed. The restaurant for the most part was clean. There were just a few clutter of boxes in the back of the restaurant on the way to the bathrooms. The restrooms were also clean. I would definitely come back and try the chicken and beef options as well as come back for those wonderful Greek fries.

I visited this restaraunt for the first time and genuinely enjoyed everything I ordered. Starting off with appetizers, my friend and I ordered the pan shared halloumi cheese. This is paired with tomatoes and fig jam and is a wonderful accompaniment to the complimentary bread and olives served for the table. I'm a big fan of halloumi in general but this one was particularly cooked well and a must order for next time. For main entree I ordered Hunkar Begendi, which is sautéed marinated lamb tenderloin with red and green bell peppers over creamy eggplant puree. The lamb was in fact tender and perfectly seasoned and the eggplant puree went very well with the slight gaminess of the meat. I enjoyed this dish overall and it didn't feel too heavy, which sometimes is the case when I eat lamb. The pieces of meat were cut small enough while not being super tough, which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this restaraunt if you enjoy trying Mediterranean fusion spots!
