They're pretty messy, a lot of dripping and onions falling out etc- as a good burger should be!!! The regular fries were just like McDonald's though could have used a bit more salt... My diet soda tasted watered down, like the machine needed a refill which is a real bummer, especially when you're spending $5 on a soda. Staff wasnt terribly friendly- kind of felt rushed like I was unconvincing them or something. Thought $36 for a burger, fries, small soda and small shake was a bit much but again, we did split it and were stuffed so guess can't really complain too much.

Also a large indoor dining area. You order at the counter, and they call numbers when your order is ready. The sandwiches are very large.! I had BBQ beef and my wife has chicken. Both were the size of a small plate. We also had French fries and onion rings. Everything was delicious. It was very windy so holding on to things was a challenge but they don't control that.

She also wiped down the meat and cheese slicer machine (though that doesn't get rid of gluten, if there is any) and wiped down the counter. She brought out a separate tray and knife to protect the gluten free bread from the counter. The gluten free bread itself was in a little plastic bag (like from a company, and hadn't been opened yet). I really appreciated their procedures to prevent cross contamination, as I feel most restaurants aren't really drilled on it. Some (some, not all) of their sodas are gluten free, since they contain agave instead of gluten and other artificial flavors. There are also gluten free chips available. The gluten free bread didn't actually taste like sponges and tasted pretty okay instead. I got the super sub and it was very good! The service: As mentioned, the employees were incredibly considerate and thoughtful when it came to my gluten allergy. I appreciated it so much, so kudos to the team at Jersey Mikes! The environment: The restaurant is a moderate size, has about 5 or 6 tables, and has 2 bathrooms. It was clean, orderly, and well lit. Final thoughts: The experience went well for me, but if you seriously need to avoid cross contamination, there is still a risk of it (and I think it depends who is working there and how knowledgeable they are of it as well).

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was really excited to try this new MOD'S Pizza here on First ST. I was truly impressed of their service. They we're really nice to let me have what I wanted and they made sure I was completely satisfied first before putting my pizza in the fire to cook. They even offered extras stuff on my pizza before handling it to me. I never had that impressions at all at the one on Nob Hill. When I ordered at the one on Nobb's Hill, they never let me finished what I want on my pizza and they immediately cook it while I'm still asking for toppings and then they just jump to help another customer. We really enjoy this MOD pizza store/location - they have good energy and work well as a team. They were conscientious of my daughter's dairy sensitivity and helped me pick out something she could eat that she LOVED! The manager made time to visit and was genuinely interested in our experience. Seems like a very nice guy and the staff seemed to get on good with him too. Good food, friendly people, fair prices. Best MOD pizza in the Yakima Valley. The employees truly care about customer service, and doing what it takes to see you smile. The atmosphere is extremely family oriented, and just overall fun! The FIRST time she was sold pizza with bad dough, she didn't ask for a refund. My family tried to eat the pizza thinking that there was no way the workers knowingly sold them a bad pizza. The second time this happened, though, she went back and told the workers that the dough was bad. The first person there just told her to get a refund. The person my mom had to get the refund from tried to play it off as if it were fine, until my mom told them to smell the dough. They refunded her her $19. Now today my mom decided she would give them their third chance. I personally wouldn't have. She went into this place ready to spend $50+ on their pizza - but she was immediately refused service for "causing problems" in the past and "causing them to lose money" by returning the last bad pizza. This was told to her (rudely, might I add) by both the employees as well as the manager after she requested to speak to her in order to understand why. My mom was BAFFLED that they would refuse to take her $50+ after "losing them" their $19 last time, even though she was still trying to support their local business when they didn't deserve it. Long story short - don't do business here unless you're willing to give them your money and shut up when they give you expired and bad food. I know I won't be frequenting this business and I'll make sure everyone I know knows how they treat their customers. My mom was correctly told by the manager that they have the right to refuse business to everyone - just as everyone else has a right to know that they're being sold and fed bad food.
