So I got my nails done two weeks ago and I took my nails off today to let them breathe so I can get them done again for Christmas and I found my actual nails green! 7 out of 10 nails are green! I called the store to tell them what happened and ask what I can do. They told me to try and scratch it off. Nope!! Didn't work! Explained to them that it's not on top of my nails and that it was underneath the nail and told them that it fungus. They argued with me trying to tell me that it was due to water damage. There was no water getting in between my actual nail and the acrylic because I had to force something in between them and there was no lifting. They then told me I can come in for a fill or pay $10 for them to file my nail to see if it goes away. I called my friend who does nails and she said it is either because they use cheap products out because they don't clean their equipment! I would normally go to her but she just recently went on maternity leave. That teaches me a lesson! I will just wait for her to come back! Never again will I go here! You tell me if this looks like "water damage" or fungus!! read more

I just stopped by the shop today to get my pedicure done. My coworker told me about this place. It was quiet and relaxing. I had a great experience here! They're under new management and everyone here was so nice. The atmosphere was quite and relaxing. It's a beautiful, well decorated place compared to other nail salon I've been too. What I really like was that all their instruments were sanitary and the spa pedicure tubs had lining on them! Went here on a random day and was very satisfied with both my gel nails and pedicure!! The girl helped me pick a color because I was indecisive and it turned out amazing. Came in to get my nails done, the young girl was friendly. I told her I wanted white tips with pink powder & medium length. She ended up just painting my nails with gel & painted one finger with white tip. So, I said nicely that's not what I wanted. She talks to a guy coworker & he tells me he'll do my nails & this time he won't charge me the $35 gel paint job. I visited in mid-March, just before a weekend trip to Catalina and just before everything was shut down/closed due to COVID. The gel manicure I received was hands down the BEST GEL MANI EVER. It lasted well over a month. It didn't chip. It only started to lift at the cuticles once I got close to that 5-6 week timeframe. And even then, most of my nails were still holding strong. If you've driven by this shop and opted for other larger, higher volume shops, flip a U'ey and give them a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

My favorite place to go, I live on the southwest of town and drive all the way over here because they are so clean, thorough and great people who do awesome art work. I always get the deluxe pedIcure and manicure and they accommodate my busy schedule and have two people work on me so i can get In and out, i appreciate that so much with my busy life. I have been here many times so my son and I took me husband for family mani/pedi's for Father's Day and as always they didn't disappoint. They have recently changed owners and I have had a pedicure by the new owner at a different nail salon so she is great. New paint and has been recently updated so it's super cute and more inviting. I went in to get the cluster lashes because I am going on vacation and have a wedding the following weekend. To my surprise I was able to go 3 weeks with them the last time I got these lashes for an event! Annie is very sweet and very gentle with my eyes (I tear up a lot due to allergies and direct lighting). I would definitely recommend her for eye lash extensions especially for events because the cluster are only $35, can't beat that! read more

I went here a year ago and my nails were crooked I came back and they did my nails so sloppy there was air bubbles and the top coat barely covered the base coat. On top of that the guy who did my nails was mean. He rudely said "no" when I tried to put my nails back to the fan and then when I giggled he just stared at me and then looked at another nail artist. Came because I was feeling the need for a little self confidence boost; left looking and feeling more haggard than I did when I went in. I just wanted a simple mani-pedi. If I tried to do it at home it would come out looking like a three-year-old did it. Obviously I should've taken my chances. I am PISSED that I wasted my money there ($39) and, more importantly, my time (how did that take 2 hours???). I got a French (and that is not what I asked for! I even showed a picture!) and I'm adding my own picture up top because words cannot accurately describe how awful my fingernails looked when I walked out of there. The white tips are uneven (understatement), incomplete, and looked worn before he was done with my toes. Speaking of which, pedi was not a complete atrocity but far below mediocre. Also, he never bothered to clean, clip, or even file my nails. I thought that was the very basis of a manicure? Do I need to say I will never be coming back? read more

Everything is clean, the employees are ALL pleasant and they take their time unless you mention you're in a hurry. Either way a professional atmosphere and consistent service is what you receive. The prices are comparable to other strip mall salons...however the meticulous detail and the friendly service is priceless. I've frequented many other salons and have felt like I was been hurried along...but NOT at this Model Nails! If you are in need of the "gel" nails I highly recommend this salon. Second time coming to this location I love it they are very gentle very good customer service and quick the first time I came it was a great experience the second time was even better got a manicure and a pedicure and waxed eyebrows. I was in and out in about an hour and they do a great job highly recommend ..quiet relaxing I pretty much fell asleep the whole time. Absolute best nail place I've been to yet in town. I never schedule appointments and never have to wait long. They use new and clean instruments on you (which I realized not all places do, gross) and have a good selection of colors. I go in with Pinterest inspired designs and they can usually do it no problem, plus everyone is nice and polite. read more

Michael did my acrylics. and Rose did the nail polish. It was very clear that neither of them cared, very sloppy and rude. Michael was very rough and tore up my cuticles. And none of my nails were even, each nail was either; crooked, too thick, to think, or patchy. And the nail polish was streaky, messy, and didn't even cover up the whole nail. I went to this place on a Saturday around 6:50 to simply get my gel polish removed. I was seated immediately, but the man proceeded to say "we close at 7 you know!" How rude! He began to remove my gels by clipping my nails..? I said, can't you just soak them off? He thought I had acrylics on but it was too late! He had already cut my pinky nail really short. When I walked up to the counter to pay, the man was angry that I didn't have cash and went on this rant about how they get charged $1 every time they use their credit card machine. I have never written a review before, but after yesterday's experience I had to. I have had a plethora of pedicures before, and this is by far the WORST pedicure I have ever received. PLEASE do not go to this salon! it was my first time at this salon and all the staff were unfriendly. Right off the bat Cindy gave me a pretty good cut, good enough I couldn't even put my foot back in the water. I had nicely mentioned the cut and Cindy ignored it. I was still trying to be polite because they did have other customers & I didn't want to hurt their business. Then this old man with glasses tells me that my cut/redness was due to the buffer & cuticle pusher. I am pretty familiar with the tools that are used during a pedicure. I clarified with him the tool that was used when I felt the cut, he looked at me and then ignored me. Any acknowledgments would have been nice, a simple "I'm sorry".
