Never again will I come here. First I walked in and there was no one in sight after about 2 min this lady appears and asks us what we need. Not a real problem with the actual nails, but when I sat down to do my manicure, the table next to me was filthy. They had left a mess from the previous person that removed their gel. The foil and the polish residue. No one seemed to bother clean it up. Another thing, they leave people waiting forever! I saw 2 people wait 20 min after they were seated to get started with them. Then, when I come to pay, I pay the lady and she just looks at me and says "no tip?" Never, out of all the different salons I have gone to has anyone asked me for a tip. I almost gave this place a 2/5 but because my nail tech ladies were so nice I bumped it to a 3/5. First off ladies, Brian doesn't work there ANYMORE. Also Kevin doesn't work on Sundays, which was to my surprise as I specifically called ahead made an appointment with Kevin to find out he's not there on Sundays and they don't take appointments. I was also let down as their nail polish collection is small and if you want to use the Essie or OPI colors they charge you $2 more per bottle. wow!!! so I came here with my friend for the FIRST time on 9/18/16 because I wanted to go and get my nails done. my friend told me it was going to be affordable so that's why I went. $20 for gel and $14 for pedi which is really affordable.BUT it's been literally two days with my GEL MANICURE and it's already ruined!!!!! first off she didn't even put a base coat on it for my gel manicure and I just thought it was gonna be ok...but I guess not.... I tried this place since it's near to USC and had great reviews. I got a pedicure and my eyebrows done. I'm not sure who did my pedicure but it was done well and lasted a long time. I get pedicures often and this one didn't have the same relaxing quality to it. There was no massage or callous remover, but for the price ($15), she did a good job. Emily did my eyebrows. She did them well but I felt I was being "sold to" the entire time I was there. I appreciate business but when I'm trying to relax, I do not like being sold. Regardless, I know she's just trying to show off her services and I did like the way she did my eyebrows and know I can go to her again. Good place to go to for quick services :) read more

I love this place! I've searched high and low for a sanitary nail shop with good customer service and Model Nails is it! I always get a basic gel mani pedi and they mostly always do a good job sometimes they will have new technicians who are learning but the OGs will help them understand my requests for a certain design or whatever so if works out. Emily is the only person who touches my waxing parts in LA I've had a few bad experiences with other ladies so I'd rather have caterpillars for eyebrows than go somewhere else. Their prices are legit I usually get eyebrows, chin, underarm wax along with gel mani and gel deluxe pedi and that'll run me about $85 before tip. Money well spent. read more

So I was recommended by a friend's two nail techs to trust and come to Emily and Kevin. I loved Kevin went to him several times for Acrylic full sets .Emily was great too went to her once. I didn't have anyone specific for my pedicure because it's so easy to do how could you possibly do it wrong. I guess I was mistaken I went one day and a guy did it very lazily. Didn't put any effort into the two min massage they give you, I mean come on it's only 1-2min max don't be lazy about it so he didn't get a tip that day. Then I come back a few weeks later and Emily is gone, I'm not to bummed because at least Kevin is still there. Then I take a break getting my acrylic come back a couple months later Kevin is gone too. At this point really not wanting to come here now because your two best nail techs left for a reason. I come in at 6:50 one evening wanting just a basic pedicure they close at 7:15. At first they try and say they're closed I'm like no your not you close at 7:15 all I want is a pedicure so she talks in her language to ask one of the ladies can she take me and she does. I know this woman normally does really good pedicures but she doesn't do a good job this time now because I know she ready to go. She doesn't let my toes dry fully before taking the tissue from between my toes and one my toes polish gets messed up and she doesn't even attempt to fix it but still wants her cash tip that I have to go get from 7eleven in the same parking lot. I would've asked her to fix it when I came back to give it to her but she's already standing outside the shop with her stuff smh so I just take that L and give her, her tip. Now I'm looking at my other foot and the top coat clearly isn't even on the entire toe. I'm officially done, it's to many nail shops for you guys to have all these issues. read more

As always this place does an amazing job...I continuously come here, after I had a terrible experience at another place. The team here is amazing and they always do a great job with my mani and pedi. I'm a simple girl don't ask for much but when I even ask for designs they do them so perfectly. Emily the receptionist is such a sweet heart and I'm glad that she remembers me every time I come in. The atmosphere of this place is completely different from any other nail salon I've been to. There are all different times of employees and customers and the lady that welcomes you is very friendly. I got a fill-in which I absolutely love and a polish change in my toes, which didn't turn out so great because I don't think the guy put a second coat on. But, the polish change was only $5 so I mean I guess I got what I paid for. My fill-in plus a nail repair was only $18 which I'm really happy about! I loved the spa chairs. Good pressure on the massage chairs against my back. I love that the gentlemen scrubbed my feet and he was very detailed when it came to cleaning my nails. He gets all 3 stars. I asked for a design that I was charged $5 for and I did not like it. I showed the lady a picture and she said "easy!" and then proceeded to do it. Well, she should have looked at the picture 2-3 more times because it's not the same. Then on top of that she didn't even finish it ... she just walked away. So the gentlemen had to finish it. His lines are my favorite part but the lady's design was not good. They should train him to do designs with his steady hand but on with my search to find a nail shop that can do a great design worth their price. read more
