I've never been treated so badly at a salon. The lady doing my pedicure sliced UNDER my nail and cuticle and when I said OW she laughed. The other lady proceeded to cut me 4 more times with the file. She was going at my nails like they owed her money or something. She kept yanking my hands around like she was mad at me when I barely said 5 words to her. I was too scared to speak up. When I pulled my hand back the last time she cut me, no apology, just "the nail too thick". No surprise there wasn't anyone in there when I walked in. No sanitizing. The tools were still dirty from past uses. The pedicure bowls didn't have liners. Don't go here unless you want an infection. And to be laughed at for being in pain. I do not recommend going to this nail salon. I asked for a French manicure with a black tip, which they did, however, it's awfully short. These nails are shorter than the length I wanted and the black tip is uneven. If you can see in the photo, the pink color that is coated not good at all. Its supposed to be one color but it still shows an imprint of my actual nail. Also, when filing my nails, my nail tech cut my finger and made it bled. I don't think there the worst in the world but definitely it worth 55 dollars. I will not come back here again. read more

I will never ever come back to this nail shop, and it's not even 5 mins away from where I live. Owner was mad cause she couldn't get extra money from me today, no gel polish, and arch eyebrows. Then she wanted to start being rough with my hands while she gave me a manicure and just kept begging for more work. Then charged me 3.00 to use my debit card. Then when she seen I had cash she told me I did have enough money for my eyebrows and that did it for me. Told her she crazy if she think I'm gonna go broke for her, I also told owner to be GRATEFUL not GREEDY!!!! This was not my first time there was about the 5th time I've been there and each time it's just a not so good experience our spirits don't match. Horrible, went in for an acrylic fill and paint job was bad it looks like a little kid did it, she even messed up a nail and had to do it again. Very unsatisfied, would not recommend or go here again. read more

Don't do your nails in a hole-in-the-wall Salons. I had to learn that the hard way. "Get Ugly", I guess that's their mission and vision, nay!! The one on top (refer to the picture), that's what I want but I got the one from the bottom. Disaster for 34 bucks! No gel, no pedi spa. Just a regular Mani-Pedi. I'm like wtf? I just paid no questions asked, and bounced! Poorly done manipedi and the lady (which believed as Lena's Sister) needs more training. She over scrubbed my soles and I had scratches from that stupid stone or whatever you call it. And she terribly sucks at painting. She's color blind too. Bad service. The whole atmosphere was weird. All room was smelling food, the manicure lady was eating next to us. The quality is not satisfying. I asked to fix my nail because it was broken, but after 2 hours the glue was gone. They should've used some acrylic nails or something to make it more stable. But they didn't. I've been coming to Lena's since I990. As a male customer, I felt a little uncomfortable. But Lena and staff have made it a delight. Yes its man friendly! Often I will treat my wife and daughters to a mani pedi, if they haven't gone to their own spa. I leave feeling revitalized and well groomed after a mani pedi with total exfoliation. I don't get my nails done because it's always hard to find a good place. Decided to Yelp out a nail shop between work and home. Figured I'll give out Lena's nails a try with the good reviews. Parking is available so that's a plus. Hours are good especially if you get our off work at 6. They close at 7:30pm during the week days. Took me and my daughter for French tip and manicure. We were greeted by the owner Lena and her staff. French tip is $23, which isn't bad. I was hesitated with the gel but it was $20. One of the ladies started on my nails and since it was my first time. I didn't know what to expect with a gel manicure. So far so good but then close to the end I noticed not so good. Turned out the gel manicure was properly done. The owner came over and said not to worry that she'll do it herself at no charge. That made me realize they want to keep their customers happy and first timers (like me) to return. I returned back 2 days later and got what I wanted a beautiful gel manicure, no charge. I will be coming back here for now on. They have spa chairs as well. Place might need some updating but so far it's gotten me to return in the future. read more
