The indoor parking is very limited - just a few spaces and they are very narrow and awkward to navigate. I parked on the street outside but one time I got a ticket when my meter expired. Now I see the facility was taken over by another company - Modena - not sure why but I was told many of the staff stayed on. It is at the north end of Bethesda's Woodmont Triangle so if you're looking for a restaurant - there are plenty within a short walk. Just watch your parking though!

There are musical performances and other cultural and healthful activities. It's difficult for anyone to adjust to a new environment, and even more so for an elderly person with dementia. The Kensington Park staff do their best to welcome and acclimate new residents - which, with the added problem of Covid, is a challenge. They are kind and attentive, dealing with irritability and other behaviors with grace and patience. The management is very open to communication from family members and every issue is addressed. Visits from family members are easily scheduled. It's a good place.

This was a direct lie to my face. Subsequently, I spoke to my friends' daughter who told me "since her mother broke her arm, she was not participating in activities, and was too tired from too many visitors. The supervisor's recommendation was no visitors other than once a week from each daughter, as per my friend. My friend is 97 yeaars old. The elderly NEED verbal stimulation, not isolation. My friend, the elderly lady, does not like this place and has expressed it in no uncertain terms. My experience with ideas like this ends in the life of the elderly person in less than 8 weeks. My friend (the daughter) has placed her mother in a prison because caing for her mother is an inconvenience.

Their homes are very clean, the food is excellent and the entertainment of residents is a main concern. Everyone is concerned about the well being of residents and they get to know them well. I was always welcomed at any time and all my questions were answered. I can't say enough wonderful things about my mom's stay there.

The assisted living facility was dreadful. He did not have dementia but the nurses treated him like he did. And they would not help him to the bathroom at night. They told him to use his Depends and ignored his pull chain. He got up by himself, fell and broke his hip and died within a month. It's not continuing care if the assisted living is no good.

Without a doubt, I've been blown away by the staff and quality of services they provide! My mom is a very active, social person, and she participates in all the activities - she's always telling me about something exciting they are doing. From musical guests to special food tastings, outings to local attractions, and more. I especially want to comment on the smart, compassionate management of Seaton when folks get sick. They work hard to ensure residents stay healthy and are taken care of both physically and mentally if they need to pause in-person activities. I greatly appreciate the staff at Seaton. Su, Janae, Chef Musa, the entire staff - and the community who live there - are wonderful. Anyone looking to move to a retirement community like this would be lucky.

Everybody there is sedated, they don't have any activities , they are incompetent when it comes to nursing care and they have no dietitian on staff to check food/drug interactions or ensure the people are getting good quality healthy meals and meeting nutrient needs. They make homemade meals and I'm not sure if they are ServeSafe certified (which they need to be to handle food safely). They called us several times a day every day to come up there because they don't want to entertain your loved ones. And if you refuse to sedate your loved one (like we did) they get frustrated as the patients get so bored and they talk. It was a terrible experience.

The staff is friendly and doesn't cut corners like skipping bathroom breaks or anything. Meals are home cooked and customized for the needs of each resident.
