Glad I brought my son here, he's 3 and can be a nightmare for any barber. We were walk ins and the barber quickly got us into his chair with a nice booster, put on a cartoon for him and quickly got to work after I showed him an image of what I wanted. Every time I have come here Andre has been able to schedule me when I need it and gives a great fade--see mullet checkin! The atmosphere is chill with comfortable couches and TVs to watch. It's air conditioned well which is always important to me since I'm a human heater. They also seem to have a wide variety of men's hair products which is great since girls always get the attention! I would highly recommend calling ahead before walking in, these guys are good and people are figuring that out. This is my second time here and I will definitely be back again and again! Bring cash! Just had the same bad, prejudice experience others have described. I walked in on a slow afternoon: two customers getting haircuts, no one waiting in line. Neither barber looks up at me or greets me or anything. I didn't think anything of it at the time and take a seat. Soon, one of the customers finishes, pays, and leaves. The now-free barber still doesn't acknowledge me and goes to sit on the other side of the shop. Maybe he's just taking a quick breather? Then he goes to the other barber+customer and starts chatting casually. Is this actually happening? In 2019? The barber then goes and sits down again, staring past me. I'm fully looking at him, seeing if I'll be acknowledged. He continues to look past me. Yep, I guess this *is* actually happening. He gets up to chat with his coworker and the customer again. And then sits again. Still no acknowledgment of any kind. I finally give up and leave. This all took about 15-20 minutes, so I really did want to give them the benefit of the doubt and not believe that I was really intentionally being ignored until it was too blatantly obvious that that's exactly what was happening. I should have checked the Yelp reviews before I went here. Sounds like other non-Armenians have had a similar shitty experience. Fuck this place. read more

Got a hair cut today from and I don't like it at all I asked for a gentlemen's cut and instead of taking his time he rushed my whole haircut just because I wasn't Armenian. Just came to this place to bring my dad in to get a haircut. It is amazing how late this place stays open, 8pm are you kidding me? That is just amazing, and I give major respects to the men here willing to stay that late. First off, they greeted us nicely, a family of 4 as diverse, Im asian, my husband is Cuban/Mexican, my dad is Jamaican as black as they come, and I am carrying my white niece, we covered all other race but non of us are Armenian. The nonsensical remark of racism trying to state that you "have to be Armenian to be treated _____" that is not true. I honestly did not expect that they were going to be able to manage cutting "African American" hair but I was pleasantly surprised, unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name his station was located right by the window, but he did a great job. He was very pleasant towards me even when I (being the snob I am, who likes to go in very close and try to find something wrong with whatever) pointed out that I thought the nape area was lined slightly crooked he nicely said he would check with the mirror to make sure everything is fine. This was a pleasant trip here, I think a lot of the other people here need to stop trying to play the racial card, I understand some places do have that problem but this barber shop does not have this. I walked in this Tuesday evening about an hour before closing because I was tired of paying $$$ for stylists to fuss about femininity. There was one barber working, plus another who came in and out with his two appointments. The two guys were very friendly with their customers, chatting and taking their time to do a good job. There was one person in the chair and one other walk-in there before me, so I ended up waiting around 30min. The couch was comfortable and they had some music awards going on the flat screen. There was also a wall that had numbered pictures of different cuts, which was pretty cool. When I finally got in the chair, we had a bit of a language problem. I think if you speak Armenian, pick a number from the wall, or maybe even just know what number razor attachments you want, you're fine. Unfortunately, I had none of those. It wasn't exactly what I was hoping for, but it's sharp and reasonably priced. read more

I didn't get the name of the guy who cut my hair but he did an AMAZING job. Took his time and I'm very happy with the way it came out. Poor service, I showed him a picture of what I wanted cut. He did it his own way, when I noticed it I showed him again, he laughed and said ok. Then the haircut image clearly shows the hair spike and pointed forwards but he kept combing it back. I presented to the manager and he said it's free. I don't care about free, just fix the service. Don't brush it off and make it free, that isn't correcting anything. Then I walked out and I heard laughing, pure unprofessional. I just went to this place to get a hair cut and I must add to a previous comment made here about the being racist .they even turn me away . I have Armenian friends and they have never made me feel that but at this barbershop did made feel like a minority and i have not felt like that is in quite a bit but I'm very disappointed that people can still be like that specially Armenians . But now I know not to ever go back there . I would not be surprise if they laugh while reading this but remember to treat people the way you would like to be treated . To start off THIS PLACE SUCKS BIG TIME let me tell you why... Right off the bat i felt discriminated because i was not arminian, no greeting at all or even a simple notice of customers walking in . i took my son to get a hair cut, we walked in to an empty barbershop, 2 barbers in the shop cutting kids hairs I'm thinking perfect spot. We decided to wait keep in mind nobody is there waiting except the mother of the 2 kids getting haircuts. About 15 mins later a young arminian kid walks in.. maybe in his 20's. At this point I'm thinking we are next BECAUSE THATS HOW IT WORKS AT A BARBERSHOPS THAT DO NOT TAKE APPOINTMENTS!.... The barber i was waiting for finishes the kids haircut. He turns around does not even acknowledge me and my son he goes straight to the young man says next. The kid gets up knowing its our turn and sits on the barbers chair thats when i get up and say to the barber "excuse me weren't we next in line ??" he tells me no "he has an appointment". I could not fathom the fact that clearly we were next and his tone with me was more like he did not want to cut my sons hair. Barber says "the other guy will cut your sons hair" in a derogatory voice. Then i thought how did he know i was gonna cut my sons hair for all he knew i could have been the one that wanted a hair cut. He gave me a really weird vibe almost like we were not welcomed there at all. So for that i am giving this negative review so that this place learns manners and to treat everyone equally with respect. They should know that people are taking their time to go to these barbershops to spend money and get haircuts! not to go have a negative experience. And to add the cherry on top this is the second time this has happened with the same barber the first time i felt the same way but i gave them the benefit of the doubt! I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN I WILL RATHER GROW AN AFRO! So modern nothing !!! you have shown a negative experience to a 12 year old kid and have exploited them to discrimination. P.S the shop is nice has everything you can ask for but if there is appointments ahead of time it would be nice if there was a sign that tells customers about scheduled appointments. DON'T GO UNLESS YOU SPEAK ARMENIAN Since I was looking for a basic crew cut I figured it prudent to go to a barber because for one, it's an easy cut, and two, I wasn't willing to pay Supercuts 15 just to use an electric razor. My first trip to this place was welcoming. The barber took time to listen to me and even asked for a picture. He then immediately proceeded to shave my hair with almost surgical like precision, switching clips often to assure a perfect fade. I had never been to a barber before so I felt reassured when I saw he was taking great care. I liked the result and left happy and decided to return 30 days later when I needed a new cut. The second time was horrible. The old man who took me couldn't speak much English so he didn't take my instructions at all. He just went with what I had before, but this time however he did a bad job. I wanted a high fade with a no.1 on the sides, telling him over and over that I wanted the top long. He immediately started the cut the top. I look horrible now and I was looking forward to meeting someone for a date later. Now, I don't have the confidence. In short, I'm sticking to Supercuts.
