Very bad experience. Person cutting my hair (Shirak) didn't even care about cutting it, it felt like he was tired of his job. I asked him for mid taper but he cut the sides very unevenly that I had to buzz my hair after so it could grow back normally again. I usually get cuts "doesn't matter" option when picking barber. Danny did a VERY GOOD job cutting my hair, only giving 2 stars because of him, because I felt like that man cared about his job and customer. In conclusion I didn't like my last cut. read more

I primarily work with Sev, but on the rare occasions (only three times) when he wasn't available, the other stylists took excellent care of my hair. What truly sets this shop apart is the atmosphere--it's warm, welcoming, and always has great music playing in the background. I've even seen the staff go the extra mile for their customers, like when a child was waiting for a haircut, and one of the stylists played soccer in PlayStation with him to keep him entertained. Trash a** barbershop. Went there for a while but enough was enough. Theres so much to be said but ill try to be short The owner himself was who i was getting cuts from and to start off every other week i would go there and the price increase 10-15$ each time and me having no idea. Like i said the owner sev is the biggest, most rude disrespectful scam artist known to mankind and he started to lose alot of employees because of it too. Terrible experience. I just recently moved to Glendale and saw the good reviews for this barbershop and thought I would give it a try. The interior is nice and seems very clean. However, I showed the barber Sevada (I think that's his name) a reference photo and he nodded his head confidently. He took an hour and 20 minutes just to trim my hair down and do a shoddy job on my beard. He couldn't even curl my hair properly. He put a little bit of wax in my hair and looked pleased with himself. The final haircut looked nothing like the photo. This was one of the worst haircuts of my life. They had all of these fancy tools and equipment and for what? Don't waste your money or time here. read more

This lasted about 4-6 months and I ended up canceling my card. I would recommend paying in cash. I have always been very cautious with who cuts my hair due to the fact I naturally have a very low hairline in the back. I have received some ridiculous haircuts in the past... but never here! I have never gotten a haircut here that I didn't love. The guys that work here are true professionals and have proven to go above and beyond for their customers. For example: one time I came in and realized I accidentally showed up for my appointment a day early. The gentleman who was busy cutting someone else's hair called another employee, who then drove all the way into work on his day off just to cut my hair. Now THAT is customer service. I have gotten cuts from almost every one who works there and have always left impressed and happy. I've never had someone as good at cutting hair as Davit. The man is a master. I make sure to book him every time. Every time I go to another place (like when I'm out of town), I regret it. Completely unsatisfied and not sure why this place has 5 stars...maybe I was just unlucky with my barber Jilbert. I fully explained my situation and showed an example of how I wanted my hair cut. I've been hesitating to cut it in the first place and expressed that to him, but his confidence seemed to make me feel comfortable enough to trust him. I even kept the photo out for reference and he told me I could put it away. Kind of cocky stating he didn't need to see the picture anymore but again enough for me to trust him. Of course by the end of it all it wasn't how the picture looked. He kept the back long unlike the picture. Plus, my sides don't grow out so they're not as long as the rest of my hair AND I EXPLAINED THIS TO HIM before we even got started. After I tried to tell him the ends are still messed up, he told me they would grow back and that he didn't want to go higher up so he said I should just leave it. He had another appointment waiting so it was obvious he was just trying to get me out of there to get to the next one. I have the reference picture and as you can see the back is longer unlike the reference picture AND I still have the little hairs one the side sticking out. You be the judge. It's so fustrating when barbers don't listen to their clients. Trust me, I know good business because I come from parents who were hair stylists and beauticians with their own hair salons. Now I just wish they were still in business...or wish I didn't trust Yelp reviews so much ‍ There goes $45+ down the drain plus more cost to another barber to do it right this time! read more
