The kindest and Most thorough Optometrist is Dr. Dominguez. I've been to a few optometrists trying to find a place I was comfortable with but many of them don't put effort in being slightly personable. I left Woodbury optometry after returning to them a second time because of the frame selection. Cancelled my apt. With them today because they were forcing me to get a retinal imaging just a way for them to make extra money. I found modern eye on yelp which happens to be closer to my home and they got me in the same day. omg I'm So glad I did. This is def my new optometrist. During my last visit at modern eyewear optometry the minute I stepped in the door and opened it. All of the employees were very delighted to see me with big smiles on their faces, and all of them said hi to me, it felt really warm and welcoming. the eye optometrist checked me in for my appointment. I went to modern optometry this week for my annual and they are extremely buttoned up in following CDC guidelines and making their patients feel safe. They are staggering patients and cleaning everything immediately before and after use. The entire staff had masks and face shields on and provides you hand sanitizer upon entry. Not only that, but working from home has made my eyes so tired. Staring at a screen all day is extremely harsh on the eyes and without having some outdoor breaks or places to go to, eye health is more important than ever right now. If you're working from home and feeling tired or getting headaches, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Alderson or Dr. Dominguez so that you can get checked out and be provided care/glasses that block screen light. They're extremely safe and taking very good care of their patients. read more

From the initial phone call to my appointment this morning, service has been top notch. I had no idea what my vision insurance was and the kind receptionist went above and beyond to find my information for me. I was blown away by this. She then found an appointment for me that worked with my schedule. They have fantastic COVID policies in place that made me feel extremely comfortable. Their intake forms and email and texting services are so efficient. I love an office that actually responds to my emails! I was seen immediately on time by one of the assistants who did my initial tests. Dr. Dominguez was extremely thorough with his exam and listened to all of my concerns. At retail chains like LensCrafters and Target Optical, we get the "assembly line" treatment and the hard sell to replace our frames and lenses every year. Here, we get a wife-and-husband team that is patient, knowledgeable and honest. They take the time to explain what they're seeing. Even though my vision plan covers new frames and lenses every year, and there's no cost to me to replace them, if there's no need, they're the first to say so. Dr. Dominguez's approach both is knowledgeable and kindhearted. He walked me through each step and made the experience very comfortable. Also, Daniel was fantastic at both the pre-exams and in helping me choose my glasses. He noticed the old pair I was wearing asked a few questions and asked me if I wanted to look on my own or if I wanted him to pick out a few options. Found this Optometry office via Yelp. Had really great reviews and they were well deserved. My husband and I both went in recently for eye exams and to get new glasses. The staff and doctors are doing everything they can to keep guests and staff safe during Covid. We had to wait outside in our car until called in. We had our temperatures checked in the lobby and we had to be wearing face masks. Everything was sanitized prior to us coming in and they took great care in social distancing. I have great eye insurance that allows me to see them once a year and I have coverage for lenses or contacts. Front desk staff has always been very friendly and professional. One time I lost my prescription, I was able to come by and pick up up a copy. The first time I came here... I actually just had a miscarriage. My vision was just wacky and blurry. I do have an ophthalmologist at Harvard Eye, but getting an appt with their optometrist is not easy. So I come here... ;) the office is modern. Lots of high end frames to also choose from.
