Great concept in dining. Unique menu. The prosciutto and eggs were fabulous. Eggs over just enough to dip toast in. Toast slightly burnt but not enough to ruin dining experience. Wow! My first visit to modmarket this evening for dinner, and I am hugely impressed. I had a (side) Flatiron Salad, and a (half) Goat pizza. OMG, I was blown away. The salad has slices of tender beef and it was delicious. And the pizza was soft and yummy, with plenty of goat cheese and just the right amount of roma tomatoes. The quantity was great... I am glad I only got the half/side sizes of each. And I love their receipts, which include not just the prices but the nutrition (calories, fat, carbs, protein) for each item you ordered! OMG, only 330 calories in the (side) Flatiron Salad!! Great place, yummy food. Not the cheapest "fast casual" dining, but some of the best, healthiest, and yummiest. read more

I went to eat here upon visiting Boulder for a day. Having never heard of Mod Market before I did not know what to expect. It was pretty good. I got the fiesta and it was really good. Had avocado, corn and lettuce all natural and delicious. Plus people raving about the soda yes get one. I went back for 2 refills plus one for the road. Which leads to a very funny story about me having to pee very badly in a location with out an toilets but lets save that for another time. But totally worth it. They are putting one in Greenwood Village. YES!! Plus they are not to expensive, cost approximately $7.00 for lunch awesome. If I lived in boulder I would go to all time. read more

One of my favorite spots in Boulder. Food is good. Ingredients are fresh. There are many choices, and portions are decent. Salads are wonderful (especially the wintergreen). Red Chicken Melt sandwich was also quite good. Prosciutto pizza was AWESOME. The homestyle plates seem like a poor value, better to just get a salad w/ protein. Prices are reasonable. read more

We went for lunch- it was super busy. There isn't much room to wait for your food. The food took a little while and we had to wait awhile for them to brew and put out the fresh black tea. First time coming here. Have eaten at almost every restaurant in the 28th st mall and wanted to try out Modern Market. I got a half order salad of super greens and fruit (it was big enough for a full portion easily) and the everything-cado toast, which was avocado and salmon on delicious bread. Twice I've indulged here in the last week and there's a reason for that... it's delicious. Duh. The salads are reasonably priced and reasonably sized. The large can definitely fill you up! The pizzas are very small and on extremely thin bread, so paired with a salad, its perfect! The sandwiches are also pretty reasonably sized and priced. Everything is delicious!! You can tell that they are using fresh ingredients and if you can't taste it, you can watch them make the salad or pizza right in front of you. There are many options to choose from, but no to the point of being overwhelmed. The atmosphere is very chic and modern which makes the place even more fun! It can get pretty noisy and pretty packed since it's such a small place, but its not a nuisance. I love this place and I plan on going back soon :))) read more

I just don't get the hype. I love the company philosophy but beyond that, they don't have much to offer. The food wasn't bad but not something I'd be willing to pay for again. Tomato basil soup was stodgy. Chicken pesto sandwich tasty, good bread. 'chips' were awful hard things. Don't have their shit together... Left standing at counter for 5 mins. Had no cup for soup, but gave me a bowl. First time there, I had to ask if they'd being the food over or if I collected it.... Guy then remembered to give me the buzzer. Missing metal spoons and fork. Harsh lighting. Tables weren't cleared the whole time I was there. read more

Wow!! I am SOOOOO glad I found this place! I just moved here from LA (the mecca of healthy eating) where I had a great salad joint and juice bar option on almost every corner. I have been in search for a place with a nice variety of interesting, flavorful menu items that are made with fresh all-natural ingredients and am VERY happy to have found Modmarket. I would highly recommend going to Red Rocks Amphitheatre for a great workout on the stairs and then coming here to order the Superfood or Wintergreen salad, or the Sesame Tofu Plate to refuel because it is so close! Not only do I eat here pretty often, but I also worked here when it had first opened. There are great options for any type of diet. They are quick and it always tastes good. They have good quality fountain drinks and meats and some of the salad toppings are organic. I wish for the price that everything was organic but thats rare to find. There's a lot to like about this place. The environment is neat and I really like the selection of natural sodas from the fountain. My wife and I both had the 1/2 & 1/2 special. The soups were excellent. I had the potato leek and she had the cashew butternut. For pizza she had the med and I had the pom. Again, both were excellent. My problem is the amount of food that you get. While I can't complain about the price, it seemed slightly less than I expected. In general, if you come in expecting a lunch-sized meal you'll be satisfied. If you're coming in with a larger meal appetite, I suggest ordering either a whole or maybe a whole + half sized flatbread. read more

We went back and Ric got the Med Pizza which was very tasty if a little bit salty with all of the strong flavored ingredients: sliced Kalamata olives and chunks of creamy feta cheese. Went for a late lunch on Friday and the place was still packed--a good sign always. This was our first time and the food was healthy and delicious! It seemed to take longer than expected to get our food and would have been helpful if someone had let us know about how long it was going to take. We had ordered the Mongolian salad with steak, and a steak sandwich--great flavor, tasty, and fresh! Other than the fact that we ordered red meat, which some may qualify as not being healthy, everything was fresh and prepared right there in front of us, and the salad could have been ordered without the beef. Such a disappointment, had been looking forward to trying this spot for awhile. My salmon salad has the absolute most disgusting tasting and dried out piece of fish I had ever tried. I couldn't finish more than a few small tastes. The main ingredient of the salad seemed to be red onion-no fun or flavorful ingredients. My son ordered the BBQ chicken which was mostly bones and the sides of sweet and red skin potatoes were both dried out and not edible. I will be buying him a second lunch. My husband had a steak sandwich, three tiny pieces of steak and tons of aioli. The only satisfied diner was my other son with a cup of soup. The worst part is how long we waited for such yucky food. read more

Mod Market is the quality of a fancy, local, very original restaurant, but you can show up in workout clothes and get your meal in minutes. Even on a busy lunch rush (the friendly cashier said he had never seen it so busy) everyone in the kitchen was busting their butts and SO FRIENDLY despite how stressful it must have been. They've never messed up my complicated order (picky healthy eater.) and its always prompt and fresh. I love that they have a seasonal menu. The simplicity and consistency of mod market makes it my favorite "fast food" place in boulder. We also go here for date night, because why not. read more

I went here for the first time recently, and I am sort of torn. Food was good - surprisingly good. The interior is modern, open and very nice. During my visit, I had a steak with mashed potatoes and veggies on the side. Everything was tasty, but my steak was over cooked. It wasn't too big of a deal, and this is fast casual so I just ate it. The prices are probably insane for other cities, but in the fascist people's republic of Boulder paying $12 for fast casual is not too bad. read more

Just tried the new Fresno Mint Salad, and sorry but it was very disappointing compared to the other salads I have had from this establishment. Couldn't see the almonds or feta even if I tried. Should have to Fresh Market and got a salad of greens and thrown in some mint. The dressing was the best part. Sorry but I know you can do better as some of other salads are delish. read more
