I loved this place from the minute we walked in. We were lucky enough to find it when it was in the smaller building and I was struggling with food choices for my sensitive fur baby. The owner took so much time to help me and we even talked about how my son would soon be in FFA. she went above and beyond to help us decide on which animal to get because money was an issue for us. I will forever be grateful that she helped so much and even helped sponsor my sons chickens at the ffa show. Since the move my youngest child (10) has really become quite fond of Trace and we although we come in rarely she knows us by name and makes my girl feel like she is really special. Trace is definitely a unique person BUT she is truly something special. She is 100% genuine and not only does she love animals she really loves people. I shop Flying M from out of state, which is a testament to how great this store is. I have also been in the store; that's how I learned about it. Flying M works with 4H clubs all over the area and knows --and stocks--what 4H families need. The store has grown and offers almost every healthy pet food you need. It's carefully researched and will not be stocked unless it truly is top quality. If this family-owned biz doesn't have what you need, they can get it for you quickly. The store is also a fun place to visit; happy people, a cute boutique, and the store staff really cares about its customers. I've known the owner for three decades. She is the perfect person to own a destination pet store! This year has been rough, and I don't live in town, but I shop at Flying M on-line ALL THE TIME. After spending $500 at Cypress Fairhaven Animal Hospital (please do yourself a favor and don't take your pet there) yesterday morning and receiving zero feedback or diagnosis as to what was going on with my 11 month old puppy's skin, I felt absolutely hopeless and not to mention angry and felt like I was taken advantage of. All of that changed once I graced the doors of Flying M... Trace is absolutely fabulous and is full of so much knowledge on literally everything! I felt calm and at peace walking around the store with her picking out new dog food and treats for my baby. I felt like she truly cared about my pup like he was one of her own. AMAZING is all I can say about Flying M feed Co! I have been shopping there since they opened in their tiny space and the only people working was Trace and family if needed. Trace has grown from a delivery van to a fantastic 4000 square foot eclectic mix of goodness. Trace ensures that each of her staff members are well trained by each vendor. The staff is incredibly polite and stand for fantastic customer service and show it each time you visit. This store is absolutely amazing. The customer service is superb! My kids and I love going to visit our friends at Flying M - they alway go above and beyond to help us, and make us feel welcome. They've got an incredible line of products that they are very knowledgeable about - if you have an issue with your pet, they can direct you to the best items to help. I love this store and wish it was closer to where I live. I strolled slowly and looked at everything. Basically if they don't have it, you probably won't need it! I was greeted, helped, shown new items, and wished a warm goodbye. So much good and happiness flows in this store. If you haven't been there you should go and experience this pleasant place. I have been buying feed from flying M since the day they started! Do they run out of stuff you bet! Why? because that's what happens when people support small stores. This is not Petco! or Walmart! this is Flying M Feed where you have a Local family that started a feed store. I will say if they don't have it they will get it within a few days. The staff and owner at the fun store are amazing. It's not just a feed store!! If you are looking for something different this is the place to come! The staff is refreshingly friendly and helpful. The owner is welcoming and hilarious. I wouldn't buy my dog food anywhere else! They have a heart for animal rescue and have donated to help many local rescues. I have been visiting the shop since it opened. Everyone is so nice and helpful! Each shopping experience is unique. Prices are lower than most standard retail shops and most items are in stock.
