Quick response to my inquiry and was quoted an estimate for getting my brakes done (brakes and labor). However, when I got there I was then told a new price with rotors and was told they always replace rotors when doing brakes every time and that they don't resurface rotors. They hadn't even looked at my rotors to see if they needed replacing and it's not common practice to replace rotors at every brake service. When quoting me the new price with rotors, then stating "there's two", I knew he was assuming I didn't know what I needed. Would this have been a different encounter had my husband been with me? Randy replaced the factory installed CD tape deck radio in my 2006 Toyota Sequoia along with the matching blown speakers with a new Kenwood Apple Play touchscreen. Well done and sounds great. Even added a couple nice touches - replaced one of the cigarette lighter outlets with a USB outlet. And he cleaned up the wires of my self installed backup cam - at no cost. I recently bought a car and I was searching high and low for a reputable shop to install lowering springs for my Mercedes. Believe it or not, some shops didn't want to touch the car. And then there were shops that gave me a ridiculously high quote. Not only was Randy's (owner) quote reasonable, his work is impeccable. Had an ongoing coolant leak on my Audi A4. After investigating the engine bay I figured it would be better to do a complete refresh of the cooling system. Shot messages out to a variety of shops and Randy @ Modfyd was on point as far as communication. Dropped my car off and we ran into a little problem with some coolant pipe O-Rings.
