Three days ago I slipped on a wet floor while trying to take a video of my hotel tub. Just my luck my Samsung Galaxy 9 fell with me and there was a hairline crack at the top left hand corner shaped like a spider's web. I took my phone in the next day to another cell repair company and he said because the side was dented he would be unable to place the back screen glass in properly. I went online here on a Google search and found Jet City Devices here with all these incredible 5 Reviews. I called a sales representative immediately and described my cell phone issues and he had me come by for an instant free consultation. The great news is he assured me the slight frame bend could be fixed easily and he didn't have lilac chrome colored glass so on Tuesday afternoon he ordered the specialty color for me at no additional charge and called me today to come in and have my phone repaired on site. On my way here my apps started acting crazy and I wasn't even able to shut my phone off. A representative said he would remove the battery and reinsert it and then everything would properly again. He told me to leave my phone and everything would be ready for pickup in an hour. I returned and he told me to get back there in just 15 minutes. Everyone here is extremely courteous, honest and exceptionally exceptional good at their job. I returned a second time and one of the representatives admitted truthfully that my front screen broke by accident when they replaced my back screen; but since it was their mistake my front screen was also replaced completely FREE of charge! I'm extremely happy because my front screen had so many scratches and little nicks from normal wear and tear and now it's like owning a brand new smartphone again! They did an outstanding job and it only cost me $77 to have both my screens replaced because of this small mishap. I went to get a new battery for my iPhone 7 at Jet City and they were great! Very professional, prompt and the same price as Apple. I had gone to Apple for the battery replacement, but they said they couldn't do it because I had water damage and it would cost $319. Jet City replaced it for $49.99 and it is working great. Awesome. Only thing I can say. I brought in my 1 gen iPad mini for a cracked screen repair. Picked up next day and was great. Slowly noticed that there was some dead spots where it would not register. Called and said bring on back we will look into it. My 4 year son usually plays games on it but my 1 year took a hockey stick and hit top left corner cracking the screen previously so thought might have been a bigger problem. Took back and dropped it off. Not even an hour later they called back and said there was bigger damaged that they overlooked and said they were going to fix the problem at no additional charge. I was surprised they took responsibility for not catching it early and wasn't going to charge me anymore. Well 15 min later, called and said its easier for them to just get me a refurbished one. I said that is fine. Since it's a 1st gen I was totally cool with it. I did receive my replacement and works perfect. Really have not experience a customer service like this from anyone. Most of the time they will add on charges. They were honest and great group of guys. I strongly recommend going here for all your electronic repairs. Pay the extra and you'll see the results. Fixed my iPad twice as fast and for half the cost of the Apple store. They were great.

Very fast service. I made an appointment and walked over and was out of the shop in 20 minutes. I would have gladly stayed longer because I had a cup of coffee and liked the fun reggae music that was playing. I dropped my phone so the screen was white but I could still here it ringing. For my iPhone 6s, it was about $150 to fix plus I paid $20 for a screen cover to look like new. This was completely painless. Now if only the owners would open a painless dentist office. read more

Would highly recommend this shop for any of your iPhone/iPad repair needs. They have a very good reputation and they definitely live up to it. I had an iPhone 7 that had a cracked screen and the pressure sensitivity was all off. I went to this shop and they fixed it with no problem in about 30 minutes. Very good customer and professional service, shop has a really nice vibe to it, and the overall process was very smooth and low stress. I even received a follow-up text from the business asking if everything was working fine with my phone. Although the price is a bit more than other shops in Chicago, the peace of mind knowing that you won't get scammed is definitely worth the extra 20 or 30$ more that it may cost to get it repaired here than the other cheap repair shops in Chicago. Jet City Repair replaced my broken iPhoneX screen. The screen they had put on, fell off and I brought it back to be reattached. Aside from the screen coming off, the phone worked perfectly. However, when I got it back later that day, the Face ID didn't work. They told me to bring it back in. When I brought it back and they claimed that they had it in the notes that Face ID was broken when I brought the phone in the first time. That is completely untrue. They told me there was nothing they do and said that to give me a refund they would need to put a broken screen on my phone. I am disappointed with the lack of customer service and will not be back. read more
