Sadly, there was no Carolina gold bbq sauce. The meat was good but a little dry. Of the 3 sides we tried, the green beans were the best. I would like to return & try something on the Handhelds menu. To me it lets you choose the flavors you like because one has a little more of a brown sugar taste and the other has a little more of a vinegar taste. I like to dip my sandwich. I got the visit in the evening and introduce a friend from Michigan to one of my favorite restaurants. He was so happy with a brisket. There is so much history and so many cool things to read on the walls. The decor is charming and it's an awesome place to sit and have a beer and catch up with a friend afterwards.
