We stopped in for a drink and karoake. On a Friday, the wait was over an hour so we didnt stick around much longer. We enjoyed the top floor and balcony. The only negative I would say is the bartender upstairs, long blonde hair and stout, he was pretty rude to my whole family however I can imagine he was busy. I would not go back but recommend at least one visit.

Great bar for drinks, friends, and fun. Karaoke night is the best. It's a bustling place most weekend nights but also nice for a quiet drinks for date night.

Moe & Curly's looks to be a good Late Night Sports Bar, Lots of TV's With lots of cheap drink specials advertised. Very Poor on the food, What made it even worse was the Bartender telling us how the chef had spent weeks perfecting his dishes, Tweaking his Recipes, and then being served some crappy horrible food service pre made junk on a plate. No Sorry you made none of this in House and it was not good, We stopped here for food after returning from a 8+ hour flight and we were starving. Maybe a great spot for some Late night Redbull and Vodka specials but the Food Failed

Sooo there was a hair in my water, unfortunately, but hey it happens so I didn't make it that big of a factor in my review. The food is always good, tried the spinach artichoke dip and it was delicious, one of the best I have tried! The burger is good, the bread could be toasted and it would be better! The sweet potato fries are also yummy, although some were a little undercooked. I like this place for lunchtime, there's no wait time and it's very quiet. It was only me and another table. Seems like a great place to hang out before a good show/concert nearby! I stopped in because I loved the last time I was in their other location singing karaoke and talking with new found friends. Not sure how much this one is for karaoke but starting to wish I lived closer to the Capital District or owned a suite in CHI Health Center! I'm thinking I'll have to see how it goes after a couple IPAs! Cheers!

This was a great place. The service was great and we received are food extremely fast. I ordered the club sandwich (Cold) with the side of onion rings. Everything was delicious and it was a lot to take home!

Stopped in for dinner on a cold Omaha night.(9 degrees!!) The place was empty but I had expected that due to the weather with a cold and snow and ice. Staff was extremely nice and friendly and was able to smash together their barbecue brisket sandwich and a side salad to create a chopped brisket salad. The brisket was amazingly tender and flavorful, and the orange vinaigrette was delicious.

    Bo you're the beat!

Bartenders were rude. Food is bad. Drinks are expensive. Go here if it's THE only place open.

We had potato skins with cheddar and bacon as an appetizer. It was tasty but not wonderful. Bookguy had fish and chips. The fish was great, very crispy and light. It was a big portion so leftovers provided dinner later. The fries were a generous size and good too. I had a patty melt on rye with a salad. The salad was pretty standard and I really liked the patty melt-- big enough to take half home and not greasy. It was rather noisy while we were there and they probably could have used another server. We enjoyed our lunch and plan to come back again.

I went with the fish and chips and was blown away by this portion size and flavor! Two HUGE cod filets accompanied by a side of fries, but I went with the onion rings as I heard they were delicious. The cod has a thick, crunchy breading around it, making it very very filling. The onion rings were very unique. Not a long onion deep fried, but small onion pieces within the breading. I've never had something like that before, but they were golden brown and amazingly crunchy. Make sure you get extra tartar sauce for this dish because you're going to need it! Service was quick and easy for a take out order. I would come back for another meal to try their other menu options and drinks. Thanks for a great first impression!

I can confidently say this is one of the better examples of the style I've had in Omaha. I ordered the Taphouse pizza with grilled chicken, bacon, green onion, and beer cheese sauce. The crust was the highlight. It was thick, airy, and focaccia like on the inside while still getting that crispy, caramelized cheese edge that makes Detroit style pizza special. The toppings worked really well together, and the pizza had a great balance without feeling overly heavy. The one thing that surprised me was just how massive the pizza is. The squares are deceptively filling, and what looks like a reasonable portion quickly turns into a challenge. I could only finish about half of my pizza and happily took the rest home for leftovers. Beyond the pizza, Backlot has a great atmosphere with a nice beer selection and a laid back taproom feel. If you're looking for Detroit style pizza in Omaha, this is definitely a place worth checking out.
