What a great find. Thank you yelp! great atmosphere. A warm greet Nice bar stools( with a back to slouch in) Friendly barkeep. Medium noise: kitchen clatter, patrons murmurs, No tv( a plus ) great wine list of all Mediterranean origin. What a great find! I loved the room attached to room attached to room layout. It's broken up like an Italian mansion. I didn't take the time to explore. I liked seeing and hearing The chefs in the kitchen off to the side of the shared space with the full service bar. Lots of young ( under 30) servers smiling and helping with charm. I started my succulent dinner with Areni/zulal/vayots dzor, Armenia ! Quite fruity great drift in taste to a rosebud finish red wine. My branzino Pan fried skin on ( the best way ) Juicy. Great spice yet over spiced On a bed of rice. Pickled vegetables variety and a hummus and olive chutney to mix with and compliment your mouths symphony of flavors. Beef dumplings. A bit bland... Excellent. Wish I lived here in Omaha. Date night or casual. What a great find. Thank you yelp! Why not 5 stars... over spiced fish. Sacrelidge!! My mouth shouldn't burn after a fish meal. Dumplings bland. I would definitely come again For the atmosphere and wine list alone.

Easily one of Omaha's top restaurants, we were excited to try Clio out for lunch this time! We did have reservations at 12, which happy we did, busy busy busy the entire time we were there! The vibe is immaculate, they definitely went all out, so fun to get dressed up and have a fancy date night! The service was top tier, everyone was perfect and very polite and on top of their game! Parking is rough, there's a parking garage behind the building, but meters around it are basically hit and miss, give yourself time to park! The super star of the show was the "all 4 spreads", ummmm wow.

When they opened Clio was always packed & they are still going strong. We were there on a Monday night & needed reservations. The roasted cauliflower was new to me this visit and I found it to be a wonderful addition to the menu. Spreads, beet salad & Turkish dumplings always favorites! One fig sour each, split a crème brûlée and happy birthdays to us! Perfect!

Clio has become a must visit when I am in Omaha. The patio transports you to a Eurpoean sidewalk, and the food is absolutely amazing. Everything. You cant go wrong! Make reservations because it gets busy, for good reason. Go! Enjoy!

I've eaten at Clio a few times and it never disappoints. The flavors are so fresh and delicious. I adore the 4 spread plate, they are all so good (i always order extra pita too!) I could go on and on about my favorite dishes. I love the crispy potatoes, turkish beef dumplings, falafel, all of the kabobs. You really cannot go wrong. The cocktails are always delish too, I always find something unique to try! And the service has always been top notch. Great date night spot, so warm and cozy inside! Clio is a gem!!

Probably more like 4.5/5 stars. I flew into Omaha for a work trip and meet up with some friends who lived an hour away. I did some research and found this place and wanted to give it a try. I'll say, the food was very delicious! We got here around 8 pm, so it wasn't as busy, although they still had a bunch of people dining. The restaurant was nicely decorated and our server was nice. She explained the menu and we took a glance at it. I wanted to try their salmon kabob (per the recommendation of the server) and my friends got their orders too. We all added a pita for a dollar each I think. We also got an app for the table (I think the Turkish dumplings). The food came out and it all looked very delicious. The flavors were all great. The salmon was soft and flakey and had nice flavors. Squeeze a little bit of lemon on it and mmm delicious! The rice was also very good and paired well with the salmon. The only negatives in my opinion is the price (it's not a cheap place to eat), and the portion size was, in my opinion, a bit smaller than I would have liked. For instance, I finished my plate and I didn't feel hungry anymore, but I also didn't feel full. Especially for a $30 plate, I wished they put more rice or something. Overall, it was a good experience and I'm glad I tried it out.

Came here for the first time and LOVED everything. My server Emily gave me all the best things to try, and I wish they had one of these in Arizona where I live. Lexi and Emily gave me the best run down and experience 10/10

Clio is the perfect stop for happy hour, date night or girls night out. We like to get a handful of their apps to share - the hummus plate is a must! Service has always been great!

Clio continues to provide an excellent dining option downtown, particularly when you're able to take advantage of their happy hour. The Muhamarra is so delicious and it adds a fantastic base to the roasted cauliflower. The cocktails were all lovely as well. I continue to love coming here for an early snack/drink or dinner during their happy hour!

The dip combo is the star of the place, it is a must-get! All of the different menu items we've gotten have been wonderful- potatoes, kebabs, branzino. Only down side is service timing has been off every time we've gone. First time we waited about 15 minutes after plates were cleared before getting our check and waited again for them to pick up the payment. Our most recent time we got the dip appetizer and not even 5 minutes later our main course was brought to the table. Apart from the timing glitch, the two-top table is very small so there wasn't really space to have everything at once.

I absolutely love Clio! It's my go to dinner spot when my friends and family are visiting Omaha! The service and ambience are amazing. The food is made to order and is always hot when brought to the table.

I had a wonderful time! The pistachio martini was delicious! Full of flavor and frothy. The dip plate was the stand out for me. All of them were exactly what I would expect and the home made pita was perfect. The beef kabob was a bit disappointing for the price. It was good but small for the cost and how plain it was.

I love the ambiance at Clio and all the options they have on the menu so it was the perfect fit for my birthday dinner. I booked a table for 14 a month in advance for my party and confirmed the week of - unfortunately we had to wait about 45 minutes after our reservation to be seated. (Pro-tip grab a drink at any bar nearby if you think the wait will be long). The food itself was great, we tried a few starters and entrees that were shared across the table. I'm a sucker for burrata so I would highly recommend that or the 4 spreads for your starters! The drinks were also great - the Hugo spritz is light and delicious. The mains were also very good and I was thrilled that they had some SOLID and varied gluten free and vegan friendly options for my friends. We had some issues with the check at the end, but due to our timing issues, they comped a few of our starters from the bill. Plus they gave me a birthday dessert on the house! Overall, I'd still very muchrecommend trying Clio, but maybe try to stick to a smaller group for less issues.

Would you consider the restaurant kid friendly? For reference - we wouldn't take our kids to Boiler Room or V. mertz. But have taken them to Au Courant for an early dinner. I know this is somewhat subjective but curious folks thoughts?

I think it depends on the kids: their ages, whether they have good manners, and if they are adventurous eaters.

What are the days/hours for Happy Hour pricing? I can't find it on the website.

I am not sure the exact hours of Happy Hour, but the menu with offerings and pricing can be found here! https://www.xoxoclio.com/happy-hour

We shared the Valentine's menu; two starters, two entrees, and two dessert options resulted in us trying one of everything. The starters: Crudo--our surprising favorite--contained buttery yet tart scallops we couldn't shut up about, and fresh made tortellini in a rich red pepper sauce we were spooning out at the end. The entrees: a perfectly cooked crusted, yet tender steak with alarmingly good seasoned hasselback fingerling potatoes, and tender swordfish on a bed of creamy cous cous. The dessert: tart lemon mousse cake was a refreshing end, and a dark chocolate, caramel dish with chantilly I was adding to everything. We visited Nosh before a show at Steelhouse, because it was listed on the venue's website as a…read morerestaurant in close proximity. Unfortunately, it was not the best experience. First off, the interior is pretty cute, so I will give them that. But the feng shui of the inside was not super conducive to holding a large crowd of people. Random smattering of chairs in different heights and sizes, so it can be too small for a large group and too big for a couple. There were two big shows downtown, along with the CWS people in town, so it was crazy down there. We had a reservation, but when we arrived, they sort of looked around to see if there was a seat for us (what was the purpose of the reservation?). They first were going to seat us at a low set of arm chairs with a coffee table between them. Somewhere you'd like to sit and have a drink, not a full meal over a coffee table. So then they sat us at a gigantic eight-person high top table when there were only two of us - pretty awkward. We weren't really acknowledged for the first ten minutes or so, but as I said, they were very busy. Our server was great, though, once he got to us. We decided on a few things to eat as we ordered our drinks, knowing we were on a time crunch before the show. We started with the "Devils in Disguise" deviled eggs, and those came out pretty fast and were tasty, with a nice egg base and a candied type bacon on top. They were not too big of eggs, too, so not the type you have to unhinge your jaw to eat, which I appreciated. After the deviled eggs, everything slowed down immensely. Food was coming out around us, but not ours. Large groups who came after we had been there a while, and had ordered way more than us obviously, were getting their food before us. Entree-wise, my husband wanted to try the Prime Rib, as it was the special of the evening. But our server let him know that it was cooked a little over, but in his opinion was still good, so my husband took a chance. Well, let me tell you, it was NOT good. Very dry and almost inedible. The jus that came with it did help a tad bit, but not really actually. The potatoes that came on the side of it also were literally inedible. Burnt and oily and hard, we couldn't even chew them. I had two of the Bao Buns, the Bao Chika Wowza and the Shrimply Irresistible. They were each pretty good, but a little on the spendy side for how small they were. We let our server know about my husband's prime rib being gross, and they did offer to make him anything else he wanted, but we did not have time to wait any more (since the first things we ordered took forever to come out), so he declined, and they just took it off the bill. The decor is cute and our server was nice and doing everything he could to help the situation, but overall, we left still hungry to our concert and got takeout elsewhere when we got home.
