Bad Customer Service..The guy with Dreds told us about deals after I've already purchased some flower. I came with my friend who was the same race as I African American. We noticed when it came time for our turn at the counter an African American guy gets told to help us. That would have been ok but he had no knowledge of great customer service and /or product. The body language was "I'm high and just going through the motions ". The first bud showed was $78 an eighth. Which came off as "We (the club) just want you to spend as much money as possible like he was working on commission. Came to Moe Greens on a Saturday evening after dinner. There were empty tables to snag in the lounge to enjoy consumption. My friend told me during Covid they had board games, but I didn't see any - bummer! Next time we'll bring our own cards :). They do have free popcorn though! Moe Greens is cool because you can rent out some really nice equipment to try different ways to consume. It's like going to grab a drink with friends, but instead you're hanging out, chilling taking dabs. They also have great products available like PAX! My only piece of feedback is at the bud counter they immediately recommend the product with the highest THC. I know some people are looking for that, but if someone hasn't consumed before and that's what they are being recommended from the get-go, they're probably not going to have the best consumption experience. I'd suggest the bud tenders ask the customers their experience level and also what they are hoping to feel that night. Awesome location, very very clean, and up until recently solid customer service. More expensive than other places but I like their vibe. I never thought I would review a dispensary. Up until this week five star service. They are kind, helpful, it's impeccable given its location, and they offer a discount to County employees. I was sold a cartridge that didn't work. I brought it back and the employee had me take a couple of hits as evidence and told me he couldn't replace it because it's expensive (ummmm that's why I'm back), yada yada yada he decided that he can give me a new one, but said he only had hybrid. NOOOOOPE I have not slept in three days I need Indica. A little backstory because I still feel weird writing about a dispensary. For me, marijuana helps with perimenopausal symptoms like hot flashes and night sweats, it's science. I needed to re-up he was able to find the right cart to replace which was great. He made me open it and take a few hits to show that it works. Anyway I would have written it off as a bad day, but a few days later my friend got the wrong product and the employee bought her a new one with his own money because they cannot do returns/exchanges. New update: the owner and manager are actually nice and send me all the surveillance video as I walked into the store til I left. And I didn't see my phone. They were trying to help as much as possible and end up offering me discount for next time as well. I think I got tricked by Find My iPhone and totally thought they stole it. I left my iPhone there accidentally and went back to find it. I was stupid that I called myself and played the sound through Find My IPhone, so someone there probably heard it, took my iPhone, left to bart station, and turnt off my phone there. First time customer yesterday. I used to frequent Barbary coast, but when I found out Moe Greens is a part of Barbary and also closer to my Bart commute, I decided to check it out. I found my new Go To spot! Love love love the atmosphere! The budtenders are all really nice and in a good mood and you can see how it's all a reflection of the ambiance. Initially loved this place, met the managers they educated me on how they took feedback from there other dispensaries and birthed Moe Greens. From the first visit I admit I was impressed. To the point that I decided to come back again the very next day. On that second visit I encountered a dab tender who interigated a man ( who he at the time didn't know was a vendor for a company they sold there) about his dabs and where he got them from. Immediately I recognized his tone and was a little suspicious. It seemed a little aggressive for a customer that just walked in. The man educates the dab tender on who he is and legs him know it's product from his company. The dabtender then relaxes and says oh sorry I didn't recognize you and allows him to proceed. I figure maybe it's a fluke, not everyone is perfect. Then today. I go in to relax and meditate on my lunch break. I pull out a hint from my dispensary because of course I'm going to smoke my own weed that I got an employee discount with. Immediately a man approached me asking me where I got my marijuana from and says we cannot smoke anything that isn't from moe greens in here. I say ok (I understand as this is a common theme of their establishment, btw my dispensary doesn't force you to buy something to come in and feel comfortable) He escorts me to the counter saying "you have to make a purchase to use the lounge you can buy something" Me also being someone who works in the industry I completely understand. They wanna make money and they want to protect people. But is this aggressive Brut force really necessary. Is this the environment that I want to represent an industry that I love so much? I even politely gave my feedback to the managers who were standing outside and I was me again with this very masculine aggressive this is what we do here take it or leave it response. No regard for the consumer and colleague expressing their experience in front of their own establishment. I loved this place but now I wish I didn't have such a dirty taste in my mouth. I hope that you have a better experience. Make sure you buy something or watch out for the bouncers. P.S. for anyone who wants to say I was being cheap and didn't want to buy soemethjng from them. I literally just bought dabs from them the other day that I stil have I just forgot them when I walked over threre. If I was met with more warmth and compassion I would have no problem supporting their business. But after that bullying attempt, I'd rather give it to a dispensary that makes me feel welcome. *update: haven't been back since I wrote this review and loved that it got so many likes and thumbs up. Despite my negative experience I had I tried to give them another chance. I was met with the same attitude and aggressive hostility. My fiancé and I have been to Moe Greens many many times. It's always been such a great experience. The staff is always so friendly and very quick and receptive to any questions I might have. Since COVID we have not been able to enjoy the smoking lounge, which is always a great time. I love that I can actually relax and enjoy myself in there. The staff once again is phenomenal. They are always so polite and the tables are always clean and ready for your smoking needs. Also- don't forget to order delivery from these guys! Took a stroll down Market to downtown and my eye was drawn to all this gold! Low and behold MOE GREENS a new pot club and lounge! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. One of the guys walked me around showed me all the rooms where I can lounge and smoke. I don't like to smoke alone so I asked the guy if he wanted to join me he was cute so why not! LOL He said they are not allowed to smoke on the job kudos to the management for keeping it pro! He kept me company while I hung out and told me how the place is owned and operated by SF natives major thumbs up! This place is a whole new level of cannabis consumption lounge in SF. When you walk in the high ceilings and gold walls brighten the mood immediately. Everyone we spoke with was very friendly, and super helpful. Sierra was super helpful explaining the options, and the menu was solid! When we walked into the lounge they were extremely welcoming. They brought two glasses of water dropped off at the table for us. They offered a variety of smoking options. Overall, it was a fantastic customer experience. Like some people say before me, they have some pricy items - sure - but that's just the price of premium cannabis these days with taxes and everything! Say what you will too, it's all awesome stuff. And it's not like that's all they got! There was a gram for $8 available as well! Are you kidding?! I hate when I write a bad review for a company that just opened but it is what it is. The lady was nice at the counter (only plus here) the male sassy counterpart was rude AF!! It's located in the straight ghetto, do not park anywhere around this neighborhood. My car window was broken into right in front of the bank and there was nothing even in my car to take. As for the club Everything here was overpriced and quality was not worth the price. They had a $200 pre-roll that I bought at another club for waaayyy less and the same exact batch. All of the staff was super nice and welcoming. The vibes were emasculate for sure. Was a little bummed I had to buy a whole gram to do any dabs but that on me for going to the city broke XD. We got a pre roll for $11 and there was no entry fee! We hung out for 40 minutes not noticing the 30 minute sign. They had cards on the tables that listed the symptoms of over consumption and listed on there that if you need it to let a staff member know which I think is super cool. I lived just a few blocks away from Moe Greens with my partner for about a year. We visited every month or so. The space is very large and nice, with beautiful bold colors and lots of little seating areas. Very vintage feeling, and comfortable. This is literally the best dispensary experience I have ever had guys.. it's not a typical in and out type place, you can actually sit and hang out, smoke, vape, dab, eat, whatever you need to do.
