Asked to replace manifold bolts on 16 ram 5.7. He overheated the aluminum head trying to get broken bolt out, cracked around 4 bolts and cracked corner off the head. Told me to take it somewhere and get it fixed right and he would pay. it cost $2800 to fill and re tap bolt holes and repair the corner that was cracked, told him how much it cost and never heard back from him, beware!!! read more

I have worked with Moe's twice now. One for an oil pan that I tried to install myself but didn't realize how involved it was. Awesome service. Another time was for fuel pumps on my Chrysler where they had to drop the tank. Brought out a small crew and got it done in short time. They were much lower than other quotes I got off Yelp. These people didn't respond for over 5 hours, so I had to walk 7.3 miles home! Thanks to their nonresponse, my front window was smashed in with a 30lb. rock, my $153 in groceries got stolen, and my battery was run down due to the thieves leaving the glovebox open for hours, minus the window getting fixed (because I don't have the money right now), I'm out over $400 already for this FIASCO! we were traveling from Az to OR when we experienced some serious leaf spring and frame issues. We were given Moe's number since the other repair shop was two weeks out with repairs. We called and were met with a polite and efficient receptionist who assured us she would contact a mechanic and see if he could visit us and visit us for an evaluation. To make a long story short, Moe was working on another vehicle but made the time to look at our job, we were provided an estimate and he completed the job that evening! We were amazed! I called Moe for a repair on a starter. Moe is not a troubleshooter. He is a parts thrower. He didn't solve the issue that needed to be solved. I also had to provide a multimeter and headlamp for him. You might be playing a game of whack-a-mole to find out the real issue of your car if you use him. He charged me $463 for the service and I still have to jump my starter like I'm stealing my own car in order to start the van. My headlights don't work now either. He left me high and dry. read more

BEWARE!! Moe replaced my power steering pump and brakes. He forgot to tighten the tire fully and he had to come back to fix it. Then the power steering pump started to make a howling sound and fluid was being expelled under the car. Moe came back but denied it was his doing. He denied there was a leak even though I showed him the pools of fluid under the car. He told me the new pump is faulty. Moe recommended to replace it with another pump but I would have to cover all the costs including labor again. I asked for refund and Moe refused and told me to go to another mechanic. The new mechanic informed me that Moe installed the power steering pump incorrectly. The gasket inside the hose to the pump was pinched and allowed air into the pump. The leak was from air bubbles pushing out the fluid from the reservoir. He damaged not only the pump but the tensioner pulley to the power steering by tightening it too much. Even after I sent a copy of the new mechanic estimate and diagnostic evidence to Moe, he ignored the facts, did not respond and has not refunded me. My car works great now that the other mechanic easily fixed the problem. Very unfair that I had to pay twice to get my car fixed plus an additional repair for the damage Moe did as well!! Not cool to screw over a mom that depends on her vehicle so she can take care of her children! All you had to do was step up and fix your mistake! We will have to settle this in court! read more

I'm in CA and was looking at a 2018 Lexus NX in Reno and wanted to get a pre-purchase inspection done. Since I wasn't able to physically be there, I needed a mobile mechanic who could look at the car on my behalf. I found Moe's on Yelp, and when I sent him and a few other places a quote request, he got back to me within the day even though by then it was off-hours. It was $144 for a 44-point inspection, which is very reasonable for peace of mind. I'm not sure who I was texting throughout the process, but they were wonderful with keeping me updated and relaying messages to the mechanic. They were very willing to work with my schedule and have the PPI done before I flew up there to purchase the car. After Moe looked it over, I was sent a report and bill via a text link. So they rescheduled 2 times on me . The first I understood due to holiday . But the set it up for a week later at 11: 00 12:30 on a Thursday. At 10 that morning they called me saying they didn't know they had to drop the transmission, because of that the quote that gave me was wrong.
