Lowering my review from 10 years ago. The food has become a disappointment. They got rid of mushrooms and now stopped grilling meats and pepper/onions. They are now cooked in some type of oven. The taste has been ruined! Cheddar cheese has been replaced with a white Mexican cheese with an inferior taste. These have been forced by Corporate. The manager claimed she is the #1 store in the country for customer service and sales. No way! I had to contact Corporate 3 times in the past year because they wouldn't honor Moes Monday because I put the lettuce on first. Corporate was appalled and rectified the situation way beyond what I would have expected. I have been going to Moes for 15+ years using the app and they could see my purchases. They never know about Corporate promotions like 5 dollars discount cards if you buy a gift card. Service at this location has gone downhill and I won't list all the issues with the staff and manager. read more

I came here to get my free birthday burrito, excited to noms it when I got home. However, I'm not sure I will be returning in the future. Pro: they give free chips and salsa (from their salsa bar) with each order Con: chips are unseasoned and flavorless, salsas aren't great either I was really disappointed with most of the burrito fillings. The steak tasted like cheap, fake steak and had a really offputting flavor. I ended up picking the steak out of my burrito as I ate. The cilantro lime rice was also flavorless. Was craving a competitor until hubs talked me into the free chips and salsa bar. Plus, I just wanted to try something new. I'd like to start out by saying, just because the salsa bar is "free" doesn't mean it's really free. The entree prices are higher so really you basically break even. Lots of choices but I went with a bowl with cilantro lime rice, chicken, black beans, cheese, corn, sour cream. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and patient since it was my first time. I also upgraded to a drink and side of queso for an additional $2 and change. They have one of those newer coke machines where you choose whatever you want so we tried the cream soda. It was yummy and I like options! I also enjoyed the salsa bar with five different selections. Hubs and I tried two salsas and I saw a lady filling up multiple containers to take home with her.... awkward. I thought my bowl tasted good but I'd still probably prefer elsewhere. For the price, Moe's is a decent, fast casual option. Much like Chipotle, your order is assembled as you determine what you would like in it. Customization is key. It really allows one to not only get a dish the way they like it, but also allows for greater control if one has food allergies/intolerances. Even drinks are customizable with the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. My salad was fine. The avocado lime salad dressing was on the bland side. It would have been better to forego the salad dressing. Salsa from the salsa bar could act as dressing. Out of all the salsas that I tried, I particularly liked the tartness of the tomatillo salsa, and the sweetness of the pineapple salsa. The best deal is the children's meals. Children's meals come with an entree, chips, drink and a cookie. My children git a kick out of being able to customize their meals. I did take a star away for cleanliness and customer service. The dining area looked like it had not been cleaned in hours. It was not cleaned during our visit either. I understand it is not the most exciting job. That being said, most of the employees lacked basice customer service. read more

This is the only location for this business I go to. Their service is usually pretty quick and the food pretty good (never fantastic). Tonight I was disappointed in both. I wasn't greeted "Welcome to Moe's" like expected, which is fine. I didn't have anyone acknowledge me at the pick up counter for about 5 minutes. That got me irritated. But I got my order quickly. The steak in the burrito tasted diffetent and a little dry, which didn't make me happy. The seasoning for the rest of the ingredients tasted different. Generally, I didn't like this burrito. The chips were FABULOUS, as usual. I'll still go to this location, but my expectations are much lower from now on. read more

I had 3 gift cards and went to use them today. Supposedly 2 didn't have the amount that was supposed to be on them. When I got home I got on their website site to see when the card had been used. The amount had been "forced 0ff " while I was there. A minute before she rang me up. So the manager is stealing money off gift cards!! I'm not sure how this place always remains so busy. I went in for a Sunday lunch this past week and while trying to get my order in I was met with a staff that seemed fairly clueless and rude. While asking me what I wanted on my burrito the worker then started to talk to someone else and Didn't hear a single thing I said. Then they totally forgot what I had ordered when I checked out. On top of this they offered no tray for my food. Half of the drinks were empty and there was very little place to sit! The burrito was falling apart everywhere as soon as I started eating it and was of average quality. Do yourselves a favor. I really don't want to have to write a review like this, especially now with the current pandemic going on. However, I had an experience last Sunday with the Anderson Twp. Moe's that I feel people should know about. Here goes...I placed an Uber Eats order on 4-5-2020. Two burrito bowls and a side of queso. When my order arrived, it was a bowl, a quesadilla and no side of queso. I just figured I got someone else's order. I called Moe's and very politely explained what happened to the gentleman who answered and he agreed to correct the order for me to pick up. While I was on the phone, I heard someone in the background actually yell, "HE'S LYING!!" Covid-19 has absolutely decimated the restaurant industry. People are understandably on edge and upset. I get it. I tried to handle it privately by sending Moe's a direct message, but as of this review, I have not heard back. Even more unfortunate, this is not my first experience with bad customer service at this location, but it is by far the worst. I will never eat at this Moe's again. I am not making any recommendations, please read my story and the other reviews and come to your own conclusions. I actually wish them well, but from now on, I will take my money elsewhere. read more

WELCOME TO MOE'S! Although they are always grouped together, I hands down prefer Moe's to Chipotle or Qdoba. They serve the same style of food, but in my mind are completely different. I always go for the nachos, and ask for a "half-and-half" chicken and ground beef. Their queso is the BEST! I highly recommend you put it on everything. They offer free chips, so if you run out, just ask for more. They also have a free salsa bar to dip those free chips in. Huge bonus. :) Like all places with corn chips, they can be inconsistent at times, a batch or two comes our greasy, and chewy. As I mentioned before, extra chips are free, so just ask. They do offer the Coke machine with 100+ flavor options, and I have only been in once or twice when they had run out of something. I am a Moe's fan, and have been to several different locations in the southeast USA, as I travel for work. This location has been my least favorite. At every other location, I am able to order the kids meal and upgrade my drink size by not taking a cookie. Not here! The cashier couldn't comprehend and offered for me to pay for a large burrito meal in order to get the bigger drink, huh?? No thanks! I love Moe's! I'm happy to see it in Cincinnati. They have a great attitude, fun atmosphere, and quality ingredients. Their attitude may be irreverent, but they take the food seriously. I love all the classic TV sitcom references in the menu. Art Vandalay and Ugly Naked Guy are my go to orders. A good thing to note is that they offer many vegetarian options including black beans and pintos (unlike Chipotle), and even grilled tofu. It is also important to note that they grill all the vegetarian items on a separate grill from the meat. They have a great selection of salsas as well as Mexican beer. Great burrito place if you're burnt out on Chipotle! We've actually started preferring to go here over that other place... the free chips and salsa are an awesome bonus. When you walk in you're always greeted with a "Welcome to Moe's!" no matter how busy they are, the menu is large and easy to read, the dish names always crack me up [Art Vandaly, Joey Bag of Donuts, Moo Moo Mr. Cow], and just like with any typical restaurant, you can pick and choose ingredients. They also have tofu, and quite a few vegetarian selections. You get free tortilla chips, and they have a salsa bar [or you can order white queso dip]. The salsa bar typically has 4 different salsa's, and they're all amazing. My favorite is just the regular corn salsa. Signing up for their Moe's Club is worth it. You get coupons and what not sent to your e-mail or directly to you phone. The boyfriend and I have had many free or discounted meals through this. :) And if I remember correctly on Tuesdays they do a Kids Eat Free promotion. read more

Where to start ... moes is my favorite burrito franchise out there , the food is most always amazing and fresh. The staff is unfriendly and not extremely helpful. They also may not be properly trained on how to prepare online orders . I have ordered moes 4 times through Uber eats , today being the last time . In the past I would order the kids meal with the cookie and drink, but stopped doing that because the 2x I did this .. the employees forgot either the cookie, the drink, or both . Today I placed an order and put very specific notes on the order for a picked eater. And it was simple -nachos , everything but steak and shred cheese on the side . And a home wrecker, guac on side not in....What arrives ? Cold steak, warped lettuce, too much salsa, and soggy chips . And a home wrecker with guac inside . Uber eats charged us 7.99 , plus tip, service fees , and moes cannot get the notes right any time ... I paid $13 for these damn nachos ...and they were inedible. their food is spectacular , so I will not say this will stop me from getting their food, but I will be avoiding this location and only visiting the location in Kentucky . read more

So I was quite pleased with this concept in comparison to similar establishments. One thing I really liked about it in particular is the salsa bar, so that you can get what you want and don't feel like you're holding up the line. The quality of the main ingredients I felt were a step above as well, especially in regards to seasoning. The staff were quite friendly which is a much welcomed change compared to most of the similar establishments. The facility was also decent sized compared to many of the similar companies in the same line of food. read more

The Moe's in Anderson Twp is always dirty. Dirty tables, dirty floor and dirty salsa bar. Always a line that takes forever to move. The staff is usually rude. The food often has that look that it's been sitting out all day. Often times the meat isnt too warm which concerns me. Coke machine is usually not working or out of flavor. I quit going to this Moe's after my last visit. Got tired of wasting my time in line with rude employees. If your restaurant is visibly dirty, I hate to think of what I can't see. These factors led to my decision to avoid this location and warn others. read more

I have been to this location a handful of times and it has been "OK", not as good as the KY location ..until the last 2 times I went. My exact thought was "these people really love to work here". That is a great feeling when the staff is well trained, friendly, work as a team, and make you feel comfortable. I still feel they do not prepare the food as well as the Crescent Springs, KY location, and the dining area is MUCH smaller, but it is a clean place and the salsa bar always has a new surprise. I would recommend this place because as I said, the staff go out of their way to make you feel at ease such as coming to your table to see if you would like extra chips or asking you which salsa you like the best. I thought Moe's was pretty good when you compare it to other chain Southwest/Mexican places like Qdoba or Chipotle. I got a burrito bowl with Chicken, and I will say that the chicken had really nice seasoning that left it flavorful but not overly spicy. The salsa bar was also a big perk. read more

Ordered through uber yesterday. Took an hour before a driver accepted the order which is fine and not their fault but instead of making it fresh when the order was accepted they made it right away and let it sit for an hour. Watched in real time as the driver left the store on the app. Took him 5 mins from store to my home. My food was ice cold and complete mush , tortilla was fused to the foil to the point it was no longer a burrito.First and last time i eat here. 90% of my burrito was black beans. Home wrecker burrito? More like expectation wrecker. Also all the extras like sauces, juice boxes, cookies were all packed inside my chip bag touching all my chips which is highly unsanitary especially in these times. Imagine a bag of chips you have to dig through to get items that are touched constantly by bare hands. Absolute worst experience all around. Save your disappointment and go to chipotle. read more
