Moe's is my favorite fast food bowl. The fresh ingredients, free chips, the assortment of salsas/sauces/limes to accompany those chips, and the friendly staff makes this location a great selection. There is plenty of parking and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. My Chicken Burrito Bowl was overflowing with black beans, adobo chicken, lettuce, corn, pico de gallo sauce, grilled peppers, diced onions, guac, cilantro, shredded cheese, and tomatoes. Each forkful was delicious and I didn't want it to end. The sweetened ice tea was VERY GOOD and the free refills just adds to my enjoyment of Moe's. The Homewrecker Bowl seemed like a good choice as it had a good variety. The seasoned rice is simple & flavorful - I tasted tomato, onion, garlic, and cumin. The adobo chicken had a similar flavor profile but slightly smokier than expected. Nonetheless, it's a good, lean protein choice. The toppings were all super fresh and I like that you can add a bunch more for free! Their guacamole is honestly not my favorite but having the extra nutrients for no extra charge when most places would charge extra is a huge plus! On the other hand, their queso is so good! Warm and gooey with a mild kick from the jalapeños. This is a must with their free nacho chips, which again - most places would charge extra so shout out to Moe's for the free chips & salsa. As far as their sauces go, Moe's Sauce is peppery & vinegary. It's too overpowering for my palate but I loved the Poblano Crema and Chipotle Ranch. Both added boldness, richness, and creaminess to each bite. The portion size is great considering this one bowl lasted me two meals. I think I dined in once, but it's usually pickup. There's a good amount of seating, and it's clean. Service has always been friendly. My go-to order is the bowl (but this time I also tried the nachos). I love that you get a side of homemade chips for free, and that they have a complimentary salsa bar. There was this cherry salsa a while back which was my fave - I'm waiting for it to make another appearance! I think the ingredients are fresh and seasoned well. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with this place. If I could give it 3.5 stars, I would--but since that's not an option, here's why. On a good day, this spot really shines. The portions are generous, and the free extras--especially the unlimited sauces--can genuinely lift your mood. The new carnitas are actually pretty good, and while the free chips aren't great, I'll never say no to them. The seating is almost always available, which is convenient--but that's probably because it's rarely busy. The downside is that the overall vibe can feel a little lifeless. The staff often seem tired or disengaged, which takes away from the energy the place used to have. I used to be mildly annoyed when they'd yell "Welcome to Moe's!"--but now I kind of miss it. You get pretty much what you ask for when you go to Moes - it's not amazing but it's convenient and quick. My salad bowl was heaped with plenty of toppings and I could barely finish half the serving! I also think the chips and salsa is a fun bonus and I especially liked having the option of getting the spicy salsa to spice up my salad. The restaurant is clean and the staff are personable. I'm not exaggerating when I say that every time my husband and I order from this location, they get our order wrong. Most recently, they forgot our side of guacamole and didn't put sour cream in one of the burritos we ordered. We aren't placing large or complex orders, two or three items maximum. There's just no excuse for consistently messing up delivery orders, especially at a fast-food spot like this. It's a shame because I think Moe's is pretty solid in terms of chain food; I especially like the homewrecker bowl. But the service is so bad that I think we may need to find another location to order from in the future. read more

This is my go-to when I need a quick meal. It's almost always the same thing that I get - a stack. It's a hearty meal loaded up just the way I choose in the app and I never get the "bad bites" within them that I sometimes get in competing quick-service restaurant foods. I pre-order on the app and never have to wait. The restaurant is always clean, the staff are always attentive to me when I go to the pick-up station, and my food is always ready and packaged nicely at or ahead of the projected pick-up time shown when I place my order. read more

I really love the Homewrecker burrito from Moe's. As you may know, this burrito has guac included in it for no extra charge. However, when I asked to get the guac on the side and not inside since it makes the burrito soggy, I noticed that they charged me $1.49 for this. I don't get why something that is included is charged when I simply just wanted it outside of the burrito instead of inside. Other than that, I prefer the burritos here over the bowls. read more

First off let me say the food was NOT fresh at all, I got a bowl with chicken and the chicken was kind of tuff to chew. the portions are not the best, but I will say you get what you pay for. This location seems to go further down hill every time I visit. I came back again to see if last time was just an off night, and to be sure - and it confirmed it will be my last trip here. I generally enjoy Moe's - but this location has much improvement to be made - and the sooner the better. The store is not even CLOSED and they are cleaning the food panel windows with toxic chemicals getting through the bottom where it's not covered -- SO GROSS!!!! I enjoyed the fast food here. I like their burritos and I normal build my own. The ingredients all looked fresh when I went in. Also the people were very attentive. The famous queso was water downed and bland. This place is okay but not like it used to be. Chips used to be better. Their items and recipes def. changed to very bland. Good ambience, good burritos, great guacamole and salsa verde. I love that guacamole comes with the burritos instead of being extra like at chipotle. Give you chips with your order too. Overall, this is a much better deal than chipotle with fresh ingredients. Chipotle is better with their cilantro rice and over all does do a better burrito but it's not as good as a value and you get almost as good of a burrito at Moe's for less. read more

The worst food I got in a long time... I placed two bowls and two stacks, the stacks were ok.. but the bowls, yuk. I asked for rice and double meat, I got a stale, crunchy rice that wasn't fit for birds in the park, and the meat was dry and almost non existent. Stay away... I recently went to Moe's in Pompton Plains NJ and ordered a bowl. I could not believe how small the amount of food in the bowl. The height of the food couldn't have been higher than one inch and none of the food touched the outer rim of the bowl. Needless to say, I will no longer be visiting this restaurant and will take my business to either Chipotle or Bubakoos. read more

"Welcome to Moe's!!" Going head to head with a nearby Chipotle, Moe's is my preferred go to place for a nice Mexican meal. Always have free chips and salsa. Of course the queso is world class. My usual is a taco stack, brown rice, black beans, ground beef, cooked peppers & onions, queso, well done on the press. Sweet tea to drink. Delicious. I like Moe's, although it doesn't seem much different than Qdoba to me. A few different options when you're stuffing your burrito would be green peppers and black olives. Some of the burritos have names. They give you complimentary chips with your food and there is a salsa station with various sauces and fresh lemon/lime. I rarely leave reviews, if I am writing a review it's either because the restaurant went out of their way and made a great experience or one where they completely fouled it up... this is the later. Food, very cold and very late, also drinks (which were barely filled so I'm guessing 12oz or less in a 22oz cup when I paid for 32oz of drink (x2)... I call grubhub let them know and the restaurant only offers the difference in the drink size (not content) as the only adjustment... seriously, with that, I will never order from Moe's again and I am taking my time to convey that. While I do not expect fine dining from moe's I do expect good customer service... they are sorely lacking in both at this franchise.
