I have not been to a Moe's in more than a decade and a half so not familiar with menu or set up for ordering. There was no line on a mid Tuesday afternoon, one customer waiting at the far end of the restaurant by check out, and one employee preparing food. There was no acknowledgement of my presence for nearly ten minutes. I would have left if I didn't have time to kill waiting for laundry at a nearby business. I asked if I could order and what the protocol was and was directed back to wear I had entered but was unacknowledged even with no line. Ordered the stack there were no specials on a Taco Tuesday. I would have just preferred my order be made as described on menu. I added Guacamole for a whopping $1.99 and a mini ladle scoop that was lost amongst the vegetables and minimal chicken breast. I ended up with some concoction that included a heaping pile of onions and peppers that I accidentally approved. The addition rendered this monstrosity now inedible. I was provided a bag of stale Nacho Chips. I did not know where anything was and had to self direct to find salsa and soda machine. If the chips were not stale trying the different flavored salsa might have been enjoyable. The stack could not be picked up and was a huge sloppy mess. Tables need to be wiped down and trash bins near the back exit were overflowing. To top it off the stack ended up being nearly $18 and overpriced fountain drink that I could not even get ice dispensed ended up being over $20 for total. The employees need customer service training, had any employees provided this could have been a positive experience. Many of the ingredients did seem fresh on the plus side. This Moe's had gone down hill over the years. Food is slopped all over the bowl so your hands get all dirty picking up your bowl. Tables all dirty food all over the floor. There were boxes stored in the cold well at the register. Sad because it used to be good now just a health risk! read more

I ordered through the app and got a burrito, a stacker, and two cups of queso. When I arrived they handed me the bag. I thought it felt light so I double checked. The only thing in the bag was the burrito and two half full bags of chips. I pointed it out to them and they all started blaming each other. They quickly started finishing the order. They made the stacker in like 3 minutes so I knew it was going to be cold and terrible but I was running out of time. It was indeed cold and terrible. I frequent this location often and it used to be great but it has been getting worse and worse the last few times. This might be my last. read more

The two staff members working were very disorganized. My order was mixed up and I asked them to redo it (I know it happens but still - lucky I checked before leaving). As I waited for my new food, both workers were cashing people out, touching money/receipts and going back to make food without changing their gloves. Came to this location 11/8 around 510pm. Fast AND friendly service from all of the young men at this location. I'm not used to such great service from this particular location so I felt compelled to leave a review. I agree with most of the other reviews about the store. There is absolutely zero customer service when you walk in. In fact this time when I went in, a little guy behind the counter, scolded me for walking in the wrong way. No signs, nothing telling you that you shouldn't come straight down in front of where you order the food when you're making a pick up. There was no one else ordering so I guess I never thought about it. If there had been people there in line, of course I would have taken a different path. When I got to the counter I asked him a question about my order. He ignored the question and continued to tell me again that I need to come in a different way next time. He proceeded to say if there had been customers standing there ordering you would've had to dodge them and inconvenienced them to make your way through. But I looked and there was still nobody standing there. At first, I thought he had me mistaken for an Uber driver. When I realized nobody was around, I said "I'm not an Uber driver or anything, I'm a customer" he just said yeah, just next time don't come in that way. Very strange and inappropriate. Either way that's what's happening with most establishments these days. People don't wanna work and they lack customer service and courtesy as a whole. The place was also a mess, and the girl that packed my order just handed it to me and didn't say a word. I just left with a smile and through... what the heck was that! This Moe's has to be the dirtiest along with the way food is displayed/kept for items for the food preparation. Tables are never clean. Each food item is in their own warming tray however there is a crust inside the container where food was. Aren't they supposed to be washed each day? In the back of the seating area are stacks of boxes - makes the atmosphere look sleazy. read more

This place is disgusting and dirty. I couldn't eat my cheese quesadilla because they cooked it on the grill that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. I took one bite and couldn't eat it, it tasted just like I thought a dirty grill. Such a waste of money I threw it away. That place is one bite away from giving someone food poisoning! Don't risk it. Been going to Moes Monday for 8 years and visited this location for the first time because the other location wasn't accepting card payments. It was easily the worst moes experience I've ever had. The kid making mine and my brothers burrito was splitting the spoonful of toppings between out burritos making them significantly smaller and completely forgot to put chicken in our CHICKEN BURRITOS. Line was very messy and the ingredients looked old and gross. Every worker looked high and simply did not care about what they were doing. Every table was dirty and nothing was stocked. Every table in the facility was dirty, no ice in the drink machine, no lids for your drinks, and salsa covered the salsa bar. Employees did just not care. I ordered a Salad with chicken, rice and bean. When I got the Salad home the lettuce was spoiled and the chicken was dry and hard, also, no one was wearing gloves. While I prefer Moe's to Chipotle, I have to say, Chipotle is getting everything right in the customer service department, while Moe's has been lacking... The food at this Moe's is the same as every other. Nothing special with this location, but this is the location I most frequent since I live here. Everyone is nice enough, but they always manage to forget my side of queso (THIS IS THE REASON TO EAT AT MOES YOU GUYS) or throw in two handfuls of jalapenos into my burrito (LIGHT hand, you guys, LIGHT hand). Meh, no big deal. It's cheap and it's good, I'll take it. What I don't appreciate, is when I reached out to Moe's customer support, because we were part of their old rewards program and owed a free burrito. But, that rewards program is no more, and there is a new program (which, customer service claims is "great!"), yet we were never offered our one free burrito (you should have gotten an email, said customer service). Well, we didn't get the email. Nor did we get our free burrito. So while this location hasn't done anything wrong (except think it's hilarious to give me a mouthful of jalapenos... and it is kind of hilarious), the customer service for the company in general is nothing to write home about (but it is something to write to Yelp about!). read more

I don't normally review fast food or even fast casual chains, though I do make an exception when they're either extraordinarily good or extraordinarily bad. This was the latter. I want to preface this by saying I am generally NOT somebody who complains, especially at a restaurant. Even when my order gets screwed up, I almost never even comment or ask for it to be fixed. It's just not that big of a deal to me. Likewise, normally I think that people who gripe about portion sizes are a pain in the neck. But my experience at this Moe's is the exception to the rule. My husband and I have eaten at several Moe's Southwestern Grill locations in several different states, and we do so frequently (Moe's is one of our "go to" places for a quick, easy meal when we're pressed for time) so we are not strangers to how the whole Moe's experience works. Because they're mostly franchises, you're going to get a bit of variation from place to place. That is to be expected. What was not to be expected was the rudeness of the employees when questioned on the portion sizes. Now, again. I am definitely NOT some "super size" freak who goes to a place expecting to get a huge platter of food. I'm used to the normal Moe's portion sizes and certainly wouldn't expect anything more. But when I ordered my "close talker" salad, for each ingredient I selected, they put literally one-third the amount that any other Moe's would give. Even the meat I ordered - four small pieces of meat, each the size of a penny. That was it. I thought it was weird, but I didn't comment. Then my husband orders two hard shell tacos. Into which they put MAYBE one tablespoon of ground beef each. You couldn't even see it in the shells, at all. When he asked the employees not to wrap his tacos in foil like they normally do, he was met with annoyed, impatient looks. So he explained that when hard shell tacos get wrapped tightly in aluminum foil, they always break. We go through this at every Moe's location, and normally the employees are happy to leave the tacos unwrapped if that's what he asks for. This time was met with a "look." So then come the nachos. Again, I'm not expecting a big bucket of nachos (and they're refillable anyway, so really) but there were maybe eight nachos put into one of those black plastic baskets. They didn't even reach the top, and you could see the bottom of the basket - something we have never had happen at any Moe's. At this point my husband questions the people behind the counter about the less-than-half-normal portion sizes and is met with IMMEDIATE hostility and sarcasm. The girl at the counter rolled her eyes and said, "Well we'll put whatever you want on your order, SIR" (making it clear that the "sir" was an insult). That did make us mad, so we dropped all politeness since they had done the same, and asked to speak to the manager. In the end, the manager told us that they were "cutting back" on portion sizes and that they amounts they were serving were industry standard. (I will be curious to see if that is true, the next time we go to another Moe's location.) In the end, I will say that they did bring us some additional toppings to compensate for the next-to-nothing that they originally put on our orders. But it was less done out of any concern or desire to resolve the situation than to just to shut us up and say that in the end, they gave us what we wanted. We were brought ridiculously large amounts of toppings (which we did NOT ask for) and the message was clear: here, since you're being such a pain, we'll give you so much extra you feel guilty about it. Well, I don't feel guilty about it. Check my other reviews if you want - I am almost never, ever a complainer, and it takes a LOT to rub me the wrong way and make me complain. I'm generally a happy guy and can make do even if my food isn't to my expectations, because I don't think that the world revolves around me like I know that some customers do. But it wasn't the portion sizes that were the biggest issue here - it was the attitude of the entire staff, and the HOSTILITY when the portion sizes were questioned. This place looks brand new. I will say it's spotless and beautiful inside. But the entire staff - including the manager - needs to go look at how another Moe's location runs, and they need to improve their attitudes, big time. read more

We came for a late lunch because it was the quickest but freshest option on our way home from the park. A terrible mistake. We both ordered burrito bowls that had very little meat, and even less lettuce (we asked for the romaine instead of shredded, is that why?). A bar of interesting salsas is about all this place has for you. The queso was horrible! Zero flavor and very thick. The worst part was what was happening behind the counter. They mixed up 3 different orders and we kept having to tell them that whatever item they had now wasn't ours. We were charged for a queso dip we didn't order because she saw it on the counter and assumed it was ours (apparently it was the order in front of ours and they never gave it to her). This place was described as Chipotle-like to me. I came from Denver, where Chipotle originated, and definitely would say that I have a bias toward Chipotle as my to-go Southwest lunch spot. I tried the burrito bowl here and thought it was good. I still prefer Chipotle because their flavors mesh better together and their meat is marinated in a fragrant way. Moes, however, seems to have more options in terms of toppings for their taco bowls. I got olives on mine and thought there were too many of them and it overpowered the entire dish. I think you have to balance the flavors yourself by dictating how much you want of each ingredient otherwise your bowl kind of becomes this mess of every topping (I always order the whole sha'bang if I can). You can order online to skip the line. They have specials on Mondays. Other than taco bowls, they have burritos, quesadillas, stacks, nachos and dessert. It's a good option for lunch or catering. A pro is that their chips and salsa is free. read more

Riduculous wait time. Placed online order at 6 and did not get our order until 7:20pm. No communication on longer times to get food. Waited in store to pick up our order and watched as several walk in customers got their orders within 15 minutes while we sat and waited. So I have been to many different Moe's and they all seem to have a consistent taste, which is a good thing. However this review is from the most recent visit that I really didn't even get to enjoy or even eat for that matter. I will also blend in some info from previous visits, so there is more details for you all. So usually when I come here, I get myself a yummy steak quesadilla. I always get that with the queso combo as well. The steak itself is really flavorful. The queso isn't as epic as they let on. I have had many different cups of queso from many different restaurants. Moe's is about middle of the road in flavor and consistency. However, anytime I buy a quesadilla I need to have queso. It's just the way I roll! I also enjoy that they have the Freestyle Soda machines here. This review is taking into consideration my most recent visit and the flavors I had in the past. I came in about 2 hours before close and asked for a steak quesadilla with extra cheese. The first red flag is they put on an orange type of cheese and not the usual 3 blend. I ignored that and moved on. The second red flag was when she got to the steak it was the bottom of the bucket and she was literally scrapping steak bits off the bottom. When it was put on my order, it looked terrible. The straw that broke the camel's back was that when I went to get my side of queso, they were out! I cancelled my order right on the spot. The first two issues had me on edge, but the last issue should never happen...ever. So with this recent experience and their flavors on a good day, I bounced between a 2 and a 3 for a while. I went to moes today and ordered a pretty simple online order, I parked the time it said it would be done and called in for curbside, they told me it would be out in a minute. 20 minutes pass and noones come out, I call in again just for them to not answer the phone, I stand in the store in the pickup section for another 25 minutes with no acknowledgement of my exsistance, I go up to the cashier girl and they tell me again itl be right out. Now an hours passed and finally they yell my name and are working on my food. I saw at least 20 other guests walk in for orders and get taken care of and even later mobile orders were served before mine. It was ridiculous how long I waited when there was at least 9 workers on the line taking care of walk ins and not the mobile orders. Not only this but they forgot my salsa with my chips. I am dissapointed in the service as she told the woman ahead of me she could not even give her a refund for her food as she had waited 25 minutes and had somewhere to be. On top of this last time I had ordered from here there was a long blonde hair embedded in the rice of my burrito. read more
