It's close to places like target and the mall, so it's a good stop if you need a quick bite and don't want mall pizza or a burger. You can Frankenstein a salad or bowl to fit whatever restriction you've devised for yourself, which worked for me: I had a salad with meat, beans, veggies and guacamole, and I didn't want a tortilla or rice. My wife's burrito was a sloppy affair, and is outclassed at every turn by authentic versions a few miles away. Service is basic fast food with some customizations available as you build your quasi-Mexican creation, and Moe's is happy to tack on a fee for some melted cheese goo to go with their chips. The older lady at the counter was extremely rude to me. She responded with a sigh and an eye roll. I asked (kindly) if I would have to pay for this one. I cannot afford to spend 30 dollars on lunch so I wanted to be sure she wasnt going to waste the product if it wasnt going to be complimentary, (since she didnt secure the lid anyway). She told me shed give it to me for free this time but gave me half the amount I got the first time. I thought that was petty. Last-minute decision to have a dinner at the house catered For my sons birthday. I couldn't order online due to it being less than 24 hour notice, so I called the store and the manager instantly told me they could absolutely work with me. He took my order for a fajita bar and queso on the side for 10 people.... Very reasonably priced , And when they delivered to the house (Of which there is no delivery charge, Only 10% to the driver) The delivery guy was on time, brought everything in the house and set it all up ...sterno's, utensils, and food.... mmmmmmm one of the evil women I work with brought in Moe's chips and salsa to work the other night. Just enough to whet my app and make me want more. After unsucessfully trying to squelch my desire for more, I broke down and prepared to have my wallet raped by Moe's. An old aquaintance is the manager there, so I'm always well treated, which is a bonus. But Moe's employees have a rep for being over-the-top friendly anyway, but it's nice to be greeted by name regardless. I place my order at 3:30pm on 6/19/2020 over the phone for pick up. When we picked up the order it was all wrong. First, upon entering one of the employees was on her cell phone. All the employees seem to be joking and playing. The only focused employee was the cook in the kitchen. I was given my order in one bag. I had 7 orders. So I checked the bag, there were no chips and salsa with each order. The lady looks at me and ask, "Well do you really need the chips?" I replied, "don't they come with each order?" I have been coming to this location since it opened and with each visit I feel the service just gets worse and worse. My most recent visit I ordered an Earmuff (rice bowl) as a meal which would include a drink and a side. A bag of chips always seems to come with any order. I get everything in one bag because I was not asked if I wanted to dine in or take out. When I said could I have a tray you'd think it was the end of the world that I wanted to sit and eat with my daughter. I get to my table and open my items. I go for the bag of chips and think to myself "wow that feels light." There were 8 chips in this big bag. I go up to the counter politely and ask if this was the new norm for chips with a meal. Girl looks in the bag and says "that's all we have ever given." Look, I've been to quite a few Moe's and I know they always LOAD the bag. She asks "do you want more?" The food was good and I received a lot of food for the price. My nachos were warm and the ingredients were fresh. What didn't impress me was the staff. After ordering I had the pleasure of hearing all about two of the employees pot smoking lives. I now know the color of their bongs, how they feel after smoking pot, and what they do after smoking pot. Let me say, I am the furthest thing from a prude, but when someone is preparing my food, I don't care to hear about them doing stuff of that nature. What do I want for a side? Well, if u put the god damn sides on the menu, maybe I would have one preselected. I figured they must have rice and/or beans, so I ordered the rice. Now, what do I want on my burrito? I dunno...donuts? How the hell am I supposed to know what's on a Joey? Do I have to make up your menu for you? So I bastardized my meal and was re-asked, you ordered the "queso" for your side, right? No, I ordered rice. Got my tray and noticed a basket full of nacho chips. NOW I see why u were pushing the queso. Can't dip my chips in rice. Maybe if it had said on the sign "ALL Burritos come with nacho chips" I may have gotten the queso. Since when is a cup of cheese a side? And since when do they not tell u everything it comes with? Now if i went back, which I will not, and ordered the homewrecker, put my own toppings, how would I ever know the difference between a Joey and a Homewrecker? I wouldn't. We showed up about 90 minutes before closing and the restaurant had no customers, just 4 employees standing behind the counter. I used to love moes when they first opened this location. As of the past year, I am certain I will NEVER go here again. The staff is always, ALWAYS rude. They roll their eyes over EVERYTHING. They don't greet you, they don't ask what you'd like, they just stare at you. They're immature and rude. They don't know their own menu. The most recent time, they kept trying to give me flour tortilla shells (like a big cracker) when I asked for corn, and then had the nerve to argue with me saying they never had corn tortillas! I've gotten corn tortillas here before. It is one thing if they are discontinued- another to tell me I'm lying and treating me like an idiot. This place is an absolute joke. I used to work here, and it is NOT easy. There are two people making your food, that includes cooking the meats around the clock to be fresh, and one checking you out. Moes has gotten so busy over the years and five people running the whole store is HARD. So, as I go back and order, I get fast service, great food, and friendly staff. The best thing about Moe's is usually the staff, and this location is no exception. They're always friendly and fun. I'm not all that impressed with the food at Moe's though. It's all right for Tex/Mex, but it doesn't blow me away. This time I had a BLT quesadilla with black beans. Before picking Moe's I contemplated going somewhere else because I have had some bad experiences at this Moe's in particular but I always give more chances. As soon as I walked in I was not greeted by the normal "welcome to Moe's" but ok that's fine that doesn't bother me but I get to the counter and no one greets me even with 5 employees just standing there bc there were no other customers but me. The girl who served me was annoyed that there was even a customer and barely acknowledged me. After paying and getting my drink and my salsa I sit down and smell a bit so great smell but idk until I put a heaping amount of salsa and chip in my mouth where this smell was coming from...the salsa is not fresh!! I also threw up so ok I'm not one to complain so I left it alone so I go to eat my salad I purchase and the cucumbers were not fresh and were pretty see through. Employees were too busy on their cell phones and talking.The Southern Iced Tea container was empty and I had to wait 20 minutes to get a cup of iced tea. It was ridiculous! I have been a patron of the Millville Moe's store since it's opening and have never once had any kind of problem up until the last two times I had visited. The first experience took place when I had gone into the store and ordered a Homewrecker (no complaints with the actual meal) and I had gone and put some different salsas into to-go cups. When I had gone home and used some of the salsa, it had gone extremely sour, to the point where it actually tasted like nail polish remover. I immediately had to spit it out. It was very close to making me physically sick. Since I was all the way home, I had decided not to drive back to the store and just write it off as an isolated incident (it's still inexcusable for salsa that had gone bad to be available to patrons). Forty-five minutes ago, I had gone to the same Moe's for some lunch. I had gotten the spiciest salsa ( I forget the name of it) and the SAME thing happened. It was spoiled! My girlfriend nearly got physically sick at the table, and after I tried a tiny bit of it, I knew that distinct taste of bitter alcohol (and NO spice, mind you. This sets off a red alarm in my mind because if the spiciest salsa isn't spicy at all, something is wrong). I brought it to an employees attention who promptly switched the salsas. When I tasted the fresh batch, it was great! No bitter alcohol taste and I could actually taste the spice! I then asked to speak to a manager, who told me that all the salsa I had complained about was NOT bad. He claimed to have tasted it in the back and then proceeded to tell me how I was wrong. Luckily, I had saved a cup of the bad salsa and filled a cup of the new salsa to compare it. I asked him to just SMELL each one to show him that there was an extreme difference. He denied the request and continued to tell me how "fresh" it was. At that point, I just left the restaurant in hopes that I could contact corporate and report it.
