Went there with my grandson to get a couple of steaks, I have had mixed experiences here in the past, but this time everything was perfect. Everything was firing on all cylinders. I've been coming here since I was a kid and it still hits the spot. I always go with the sirloin, loaded mashed potatoes and a side of veggies. The steak is always cooked tender, the potatoes are delicious and the veggies make me not feel like a gluttonous blob. Paired with the bread and cinnamon butter, it really is a satisfying meal. It can get loud in these places because of all the birthday clapping, but I never mind it. It's a fun atmosphere. Solid TR location and still pretty affordable all these years later. read more

I'm giving five stars to the manager. An order was placed online. When we returned home, we were missing a salad. Not the worst thing in the world, $hit happens. I called just to get a salad, and was immediately redirected to the manager. The lady I spoke to was very understanding and apologetic. She offered to remake our whole dinner or reimburse us, when all I wanted was the salad. I have never experienced customer service of this magnitude. Job well done. read more

I was waiting at the bar for a take-out order at the Texas Roadhouse in Millville, NJ. A verbal disagreement occurred between myself and another patron while I was waiting. Instead of staff calmly addressing the situation, I was asked to leave and the police were called. I felt embarrassed and singled out as a paying customer who was simply waiting for my order. The situation escalated unnecessarily and left me feeling that I was treated unfairly as a Black patron. I hope management reviews the security footage and the way this situation was handled so other customers do not have the same experience. read more

My husband & I frequently go to Texas road house. They are always on point. Especially on their margaritas. But this particular day I found a bug in my drink. Not sure if it's a roach! We been going between Longhorne & texas Roadhouse for quite a few years now and while Longhorne was quite good, TexasRoadhouse has yet to fail us. My usual is the FT. Worth Ribeye with a Baked Potato and a side. First of all the Steak is the most tender Steak I've ever had, I can't even match it at home on my grill. For starters we usually get the Cactus Blossom, Omg to die for lol. I can't say enough about the Rolls they serve with the Cinnamon Butter, simply amazin! On my way out I get some Chili to go, It's just the right amount of Spice, not to spicy but you know it's there. On the down side, i'm not a big fan of the Ribs and while I do like Ribs, it seems there's are the dry type Ribs so I don't usually order them. I can't put Longhorne down, they are a good 4 Star Resturant with top Quality Steaks but they have let us down on more than 1 occation but they have always stood behind every meal we had, even going as far as replacing our meal and giving us a full refund. We will go back at some point but every time we decide to go out to eat it's usually TexasRoadhouse we decide on. read more

Went to dinner with my family, brother in law and his wife on 1 Jan 2026. Had reservations for around 5:00 PM to 5:30PM. We were sat around 5:28PM. We got our table and everyone ordered their meals. I asked for 1/2 rack ribs. When our food arrived, I started eating my ribs. Two bites in I noticed my ribs were cold. I let our waitress know. She asked if I would like something else and I said no thanks. I told her to cancel my order. The manager came to our table and asked me how he could make things right. I said no thanks. This is my second bad experience with Texas Roadhouse. The previous one had to do with my food being burnt. They fixed the problem by bringing me a properly cooked meal. The rest of our party had no issues with their meals. As for me, no more Texas Roadhouse. read more

Rating: 3.8 stars for the steak. You can pick your piece of steak at the front of the store or just have them pick one for you. The bone in prime rib was cooked perfectly medium with the perfect amount of salt. Mushroom was my additional topping. This dish comes with 2 sides from their "legendary sides". The rib was soft and buttery (decent grade) It was a bit odd that they ran out of utensils and straws so the utensils and food were at a slower pace but it's to be expected. The table comes with complimentary bread with butter on the side. It was fresh and soft. No sauce needed for me but definitely order sooner rather than later and check your utensil sets to accommodate for the utensil search. Overall, decent food and service. read more

Excellent service. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. I think everybody knows the ambiance...loud and obnoxious. The food was great except for the steaks. Family of four. We all ordered the bone in rib eye medium rare. They were the toughest steaks I have ever eaten. They were cooked perfectly however not only could we not chew them we could hardly cut them and the fork would bounce off instead of penetrating the meat. Absolutely horrible. I am used to the rib eye having a very tough strip of cartilage, this was not that. I am not one to complain so we just got them boxed up. Very disappointing for $31.00 each. My boyfriend has been dying to try this place. I used to eat here when I was a kid but it became inconsistent. So this was my first time back in about 6 years. We did an early dinner around 5pm on a Monday so it was dead. We were seated right away. The bread was so good, it comes out warm. I got the chicken critters with steak fries and seasoned rice. It was all super good, loved the seasoned rice! My boyfriend got the country fried sirloin with steak fries and mashed. He ate the whole steak & wants to go back to try the country fried chicken. I was glad this particular Texas Roadhouse had outdoor dining seats when we visited at the end of August. It was a pretty rainy day on our camping trip and with not much to do on a stormy weather. Sinice I've always having great experience at my old local Texas Roadhouse back on Long Island we decided give this place a try. We decided to have an early dinner here after seeing how they have a pole tent set up for dining. It was one of the few restaurants around that offer outdoor dining and we didn't want to eat in the car seeing how unpredictable the weather was. The service was great with about 3-4 servers covering the whole area plus it wasn't completely full yet. The food although could be better but I think the sides and chili were quite good. My grill porkchop was decent overall but I thought it was bit too salty and too much garnish of mushroom and onions on top. The steak was a bit overcooked despite ordering medium rare but still decent. Despite these minor set backs I think the meal itself was great really due to how responsive the service was. All the sides and bread roll I had no complaints at all and I think for a Texas Roadhouse chain this one is one of the better ones out there for sure. read more

When I went here I didn't have any high hopes, thinking I'd get the typical chainy like service along with passable but nothing really good in food. However to my total delight, Texas Roadhouse really surprised me. I was warmly greeted, lead to a table and my table waiter couldn't have been more professional and friendly. To start my meal I ordered their Caesar with anchovy and to my surprise and joy, they had anchovies, so not a problem. When served the salad was super fresh, super crisp and the dressing really delightful. For my main course I ordered their prime rib rare, and when served it was perfectly done as order, an obvious slow roast in preparation and sided with horseradish and au jus for dipping. I really couldn't have asked for better. So, this particular Texas Roadhouse is a solid 4 Stars plus to me. read more

I've always wondered if someone actually says "No" when asked if they have ever been to a Roadhouse before? If they do, are they taken outback and beat? They should be! Food is consistently good, but rolls are smaller and no peanuts!! Unlike most places, I have not seen a huge mark up in food prices. No complaints here! read more

Consistently overcooked steak.......4 for 5 with a medium rare coming out medium well, the last four times I was here lol Nice enough people that work here, but the kitchen could screw up a cup of coffee. Let me also mention the fact that it is a snowy and rainy Monday night, not like it's a crazy busy Thursday, Friday or Saturday. I know I'm not dining at a four star steakhouse here, but you have one job to do and that's cook the can selected cuts of meat that you rave about to the correct serving temperature. Nice server and front of the house manager also very polite, but I don't think I'll be coming back after this one. Came offering some sort of coupon thing guaranteeing that my next meal of $20 or more is guaranteed, or they give me something... I have no idea, I'm not interested... Holy slow service! So I'm not the biggest fan of chains, but Texas Roadhouse is among the ones I'll visit if I can't find an appealing locally owned and operated restaurant nearby. My visit last night was rooted in convenience. My friend and I were traveling along Route 55 and this was close to the Millville exit. It was a Sunday evening and there was no wait, despite lots of cars in the lot. We were seated close to the host stand, so we had the pleasure of hearing staff ask every single patron, "When were you last here?" I'm guessing it's a company policy to ask, but it's also excessive. At my table, when asked, I told the server that it was "about a decade ago in high school while I still lived in the area." She then asked if I'm in college now. 1. What if I couldn't afford college?? 2. What if college wasn't in my life's path? But also... 3. I said a decade ago. I graduated from college SIX years ago. Basic math. So, essentially, that's a line of questioning I think the chain should reconsider. We were mostly just looking for sustenance so I ordered the chicken critter salad without tomatoes. I appreciated that they didn't charge me extra for my second dressing. The salad itself was a-okay -- nothing too thrilling but also it was, indeed, a salad. And the chicken was good, so there's that. My big issue was the lag in service. My friend and I were both wiped out from our weekend, but it took forever just to get the check. We also weren't checked in on after all the correct food was on our table [my friend's order was wrong but she's a Yelper so I'll let her cover that in her review]. My friend asked one of the other servers for our check, who had to hunt down ours for us. She seemed peeved by that and told us to have a great night in *the* most fake tone possible. Yikes. We decided to come here for a friend's birthday dinner. We were greeted and sat right away. Our server Bryce though he was very friendly and nice sucked. Our one appetizer came out before we even got our drinks. ( no one ordered from the bar ) Our food was good and cooked to order. I ordered the filet and sweet potato and my hubby got the sirloin & chili. We were pleased with our dinner. Bryce disappeared and never came back to our table to check if everything was ok, or make sure we had refills. Once we finished our meal, we waited close to 20 minutes before we saw him and asked for our check. I came out of town with the kids and were feeling like having steak. We had seen this place back in March when we visited but didn't stop due to yelp reviews. I'm so glad my daughter suggested it. Upon arrival we were seated within minutes. I was surprised because it was packed. Our waiter brought us a basket of fresh baked bread. ( loved it) specially the butter cinnamon... Our server was beyond excellent he was fast getting us our drinks, appetizer and food. I've never had service this fast. Our food was hot and just plain delicious. Server continued to check in on us and just absolutely kept up the excellent service till we left. Manager checked in on us and gave us coupons for being first time customers. Eat here every once in a while, the first time we came when it first opened was not pleased at all. I chalked it up to growing pains, waited a year and it improved. Food usually comes out fairly quick even when it's busy. The bread with the cinnamon but is awesome, but if your allergic to peanuts don't go anywheres near this place! My steaks aren't also on point with temperatures, but close enough not to complain. Food is hot when it comes outs and the prices aren't that bad. The Texas sized combo I used to get which is a BBQ chicken breast and a 8oz steak... or maybe it's 6oz I forget has seem to gotten smaller. All and all the beer is cold, the food is hot and steak are good. read more

Could be because they're always so busy and whomever buys for them doesn't order enough or "supply chain issues" I've never had a bad steak here. I think they're short staffed sometimes so it can take seemingly forever to get a table (not fun when ya show up hungry and ready for a big ol'steak) The staff has always been very nice and accommodating. We were enjoying our meal here and saw this and I felt really bad for this family. A nice young family with three children and a baby. The father asked if they could have a high chair and was told no because it was a main aisle. Instead of the hostess saying " how about we seat you in an area that you can have a high chair" she just said "sorry, Not in a main aisle". The restaurant was not very busy and they could have sat them in an area they could have had a high chair for the baby. So the dad held the baby on his lap through dinner. I thought this was not only wrong, but disrespectful. read more

Waited outside and it wasn't ready until 9:35, and most every side we ordered with the "rare" primerib was missing because they were "out" of it. Information that would have been helpful before we paid for the meal. 2 rare prime ribs shouldn't take an hour and 5 minutes to be delivered to the window. Never again. read more
