This was my first time going to Moe's in a very long time. The food is ok but I've definitely had better. I got the homewrecker with Birria meat. The meat was juicy but wasn't as seasoned that I hoped. The Burritos came with chips. The chips wasn't good at all. I went home to season them myself. I also had a Birria Taco. I'd compare it to a Q'Doba, but would say it's better. Very fresh ingredients, nice choice of toppings and sauces. This place is clearly popular because the staff were busy putting together to-go orders as well as helping dine-in customers. We will definitely eat here again. I used to LOVE this Moe's, but it has gone downhill really fast. We used to get quick and friendly service and everything used to look clean. Now I don't event want to eat in the dining room because of how dirty it looks. The bathroom is also gross. The service is no longer quick and friendly. I'm hoping this Moe's gets a make over soon because we usually come here on a weekly basis. The only reason I gave this Moe's 2 stars instead of 1 is because the food is still pretty good. read more

Overall experience was just meh -- I will probably choose other food places over this one in the future. The food was a bit bland and the meat was dry for the price. There are much better & cheaper options out there if craving "quick" Mexican food/cantina. I scanned over the menu for just a few seconds before being interrupted with "you ready to order?". I'm simply replied "no" only to be stared at by the other workers until I decided on a meal. Finally ordered a Stack thing and said I wanted guac and chips in lieu of the free chips and salsa it came with (which I was told would only be $1 more). My favorite meal is the First Rule of Chicken Club with black olives and chipotle ranch. Had lunch here today an was fairly disappointed. The floors were extremely dirty, The way the walls were painted with just streaks of fresh paint here and there gave the restaurant a dirty feel. Even the fact that the TV's still had the manufactures stickers on them seemed to add the the fact that little time is spent in the dinning room. For what it is, it's not bad. The flavor is ok, the ingredients are good but it's no where near the California burritos I miss. They are half the cost and 2x as big. We were in town for a tournament and got two Joey's to go. First, I'll say the service was polite and friendly. The problem, the rice was so undercooked and hard, our burritos were difficult to even eat. Not only that, my daughter and I both got food poisoning after eating here. Moe's has been a staple in my family ever since the franchise started. We always loved the concept of fresh fast Mexican that you can see the ingredients that are being put into your meal. Of course when it initially go of the ground everything thing was shiny and new and all the employees shouted "welcome to moes!" With gusto. We are also a fan of their rewards program which is app based. Lately what we find however the facilities are looking worn and really need to be updated or at least refreshed. The sanitation is also not what it once was with the the restaurant often being dirty mostly the tables, floor, and salsa bar. Also it seems the staff are a lot less friendly than they used to be and the "welcome to moes" sounds more like an unhappy grunt. Please get rid of that custom if the staff are unhappy with it or find a way to make them happy to say it. The food itself has also gone down in quality a bit as well, with the chicken being the lone appealing meat option. Moes can be and has been better. Please make it the moes I used know! read more

The Moe's in Rock Hill at the Cinema is one of my grandson's favorite places to eat. I always enjoy taking him there! UNTIL TODAY!!! He is a special needs child of 10.....soft spoken but well spoken. The young black man waiting on us was extremely courteous..... went well til ART walked up and started rushing us. T likes to order for himself and he is careful to consider his food allergies. There were 3 or 4 people behind us and I realize ART was in a rush to move us along but he took over and so flustered my grandson he was having a hard time ordering.... this grandma was close to losing it but would hate for T to see me acting as ill and rude as ART! Moe's is a convenient place to fill your belly til you see fit. If you know what you like to go in your burritos...guess what?...it's up to you to decide what goes in. Don't like rice...don't get it...don't like lettuce...don't get it. Like black beans over pinto beans...that's right...get them. Moe's is reasonably priced and the portions are more than enough for anybody (this does not include their tiny queso orders). The atmosphere is more of an in-and-out sit-down, but that's due to the volume Moe's does on the weekends.
