    beef burrito bowl

It's been a while since I went to this Moe's. Last time I have been here, burritos were not great. But this time I went for chicken burrito bowl and beef burrito bowl. Both were good.

Two bags of chips and cheese and one burrito when I ordered to two burritos and two tacos. What a joke. No more service from me.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Unbelievable. I ordered take out delivery $31.00 worth of food two burritos, and two tacos. What did I get? One burrito and two bags of chips with cheese and one cup of salsa. Is this some kind of joke? I'm going to call the company and report this establishment. Worse food order I've ever received.

Burrito is soggy and I can barely hold it without my finger falling through it

Just grabbed a homewrecker 20 mins ago. The worker had little to no care about making the food and it was poorly handled. Burrito is falling apart and I can barely eat it.

    Hot sauce!

This is my go-to place for a quick "Mexican" fix (emphasis on the quotation marks). The portions are very generous, the prices are fair, and there is plenty of variety to choose from regarding toppings and salsas. When I went here, I ordered the "Earmuffs" which is basically a burrito bowl. Additionally, I had some chips and queso. Let me tell you that they do not skimp on any of the ingredients and the bowl is FILLED. If you are super hungry, I definitely recommend the "Earmuffs" since (depending on you fill it) it is easily shareable between two people. The burrito bowl is larger than the bowl served in Chipotle, so be prepared. I absolutely enjoyed the chips and queso, and the dip had a nice "dangerously cheesy" flavor to it. As a person who LOVES spicy food and hot sauce, I absolutely love their salsa bar. I favored the ability to choose from a variety of salsas since at times I may want a bite to be super spicy, but other times I may want it more mild. Despite their portions being very generous, the quality of "Mexican" food simply and definitely cannot compare to the authentic mom-&-pop restaurants. (Just stating the obvious.) Hence, I recommend this place to anyone craving a quick "southwest/Mexican" fix and to anyone who has a huge appetite.

Nothing makes you lose your appetite like finding a piece of soggy cardboard in your burrito bowl.

I'm a huge fan of Moe's, having eaten at both locations in Storrs and South Windsor. And I was pleased to hear about this location, given its convenient proximity to a lot of stores I frequent. So I was one of the first customers in the door for this location's $3 burrito grand opening at 11:00 AM. Within the first 30 min, the line was already stretching towards the back of their restaurant. I ordered a veggie burrito bowl (their name for it is "band camp") with both kinds of rice, both kinds of beans, the pico de gallo, corn, lettuce, and guacamole. I then added generous helpings of one of their medium salsas at their serve-yourself salsa bar. Normally you get some tortilla chips with any entree order that you can eat with the salsa of your choosing, though I've noticed the quantity of chips fluctuates widely with the mood of the employee who's serving you. This time, my friend and I were only given a paltry handful of chips each, without any extra for the queso she had also ordered. Either they expected us to eat most of the $3.99 cup of queso with a spoon or it was just an oversight - so we went up to ask for extra chips on our way out, which they did give us without any issues. I ate half my burrito bowl there and was disappointed to find some of the rice to be undercooked. I saved half to eat for lunch the next day and was alarmed to discover a large piece of soggy cardboard mixed in with the tomatoes. I knew this wasn't something I had personally done because the food had been stored with a cover, and thinking back, I had dismissed my observation of the big spoonful of picco de gallo looking a little brown. Finally, if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, I would caution you against eating here. I noticed as my bowl was being made that there were pieces of cheese that had fallen into the tomatoes, which I made sure to avoid. It seemed to me like their arrangement of ingredients could be better to avoid cross-contamination, particularly for people who may have life-threatening allergies. As much as I love Moe's as a chain, the issues I encountered on their grand opening day make me nervous about eating at this location again.

Very basic Mexican fare…read more I've sworn I've written a review for this place. Eh, all well. I use this place as a barometer for Mexican food. What you get here is the bare bones stock version of Mexican cuisine. Not bad, but usually with lots of cut corners and inferior quality dishes. It's not that they don't try. They do season their microwaved rice and doctor up their cans of refried beans to bring some flavor to the mix. Their chips are warmed and their salsa has some extra spice added in. It's the type of Mexican cuisine suitable for the older generation. Not offensive, basic flavors and comfortable. The price point reflects this, and it's relatively affordable for what you get. This isn't a place I go to expecting great food. This place I go to for that one step above a fast food taco place, and it meets those expectations. If you need a place to take a family to, or you have parents and want to get them something they can handle spice wise, then this place works.

We never really had to ask for anything because he was so great. We started off with queso and table-side guacamole. Queso was good, but the guacamole was amazing. I got in the car and told my husband about it immediately. We are definitely coming back just for that. Drinks were good, but I think the bartender had a light hand. I had two and I didn't feel a buzz, which is unusual for me. I'm a lightweight lol. I ordered the 3 enchiladas, one beef, one cheese, one chicken. It was good, not great. But don't overlook this restaurant, come at least for the table-side guacamole! It will change your life.

We recently visited No Coast Taqueria, there are many positives and prices being the one negative…read more I do feel like if you are in the area it should be a place you at stop in and try out. Here is my reasons behind a 4* star review... 1. It's clean and nice inside. I like the fact that it even has an old Simpsons arcade game and looks like you can play table games in there as well. 2. The owner was a nice dude and he makes everything fresh. He was waiting tables and cooking. He takes pride in what he does and I appreciate that. 3. They offer vegetarian options which for me, is always a reason I will try a place. I had both vegetarian tacos and they were pretty tasty (the broccoli one wins for me! Tofu one pretty good too tho) BROCCO TACO Fire-roasted broccoli, garlic black bean purée, chipotle tomato jelly, micro greens, and toasted sesame seeds. $7 and THAI TOFU TACO Crispy tofu, homemade peanut sauce, "trimchi," toasted sesame seeds and scallions.* $7 4. (BATATAS BRAVAS Hand-cut, twice-fried garlic cilantro french fries. Served with kimchi ketchup and smack sauce) $9. The fries were good but not my favorite. They a little too greasy, I liked the garlic, it's very garlicky but for me I like extra garlic. It came with the tiniest dipping sauce, which i wish there was more of... 5. My fiancé got a quesadilla (RAJAS QUESADILLA Strips of creamy peppers and onions grilled with our 7-cheese blend in a 12" flour tortilla, topped with cotija cheese. Served with sour crema and salsa $11) which was pretty good but small for the price. We both love quesadillas and I would eat that again. 6. Overall I liked No coast. It was a little too pricey for me which is what will keep me from visiting frequently. $14 for 2 small tacos that were gone in very literally 2 bites, I was actually still hungry when I left. But prices are high everywhere and running a restaurant isn't cheap. If it was 3 tacos for $14 it would be easier to want to visit again. For almost $50 it was just a little too much for me. Either way, No coast is cooking fresh, and trying hard. It's worth it to give them a try.
