Harriet is furious. I walked in to this establishment hoping for a great experience as it was my first time at a moe's. I was greeted with such negativity. The employee put less than a scoop of everything I asked for in my bowl. After she finished half scooping everything in my bowl, I then went to pay cash. As I was paying and I finished handing her all of my cash, she tried to make me pay more by asking for my one dollar bills. She did this to me twice and my stupidity did not recognize this until I got home. She stole an extra two dollars from me and pocketed that money. This Moe's was the by far the worse one I have ever been in. We weren't greeted like you normally are. The food was terrible. The tables to sit at were dirty. The music playing in there was rap. Which I don't have a problem with rap but it's a big place that people bringing there kids. There was literally nothing to drink in the place. Everything was out of order. Not one person cared. Only 1 guy was working and another male and female were hanging out in the back. After go carting this evening my boyfriend and I were starved and in desperate need of dinner. It was 9:55, and we were rite next to Moe's, which closes at 10. We decided to send it in there at the risk of the employees hating us.. To our surprise, the wonderful staff working this evening welcomed us in and let us know they would be delighted to serve us. Came in tonight for the Parent eats free night (up to 8.00) and you pay only for the kid meal (kid must be present) . Not having lettuce tonight (8pm) total bummer because what is tomatoes without it ? They have bowls that come with rice and a meat choice of beef,steak or chicken . I went with the steak and just had tomato and queso(upcharge) on it for (9.50) which is not so large in portion size for that kind of price and you get free tortilla chips on the side of every meal even the kids meal. Kids meal was worth it for around five bucks you can get a few choices my son chose the taco just meat and cheese and comes with a drink and cookie (Snickerdoodle was his choice) and it all looked decent. I had a nice lunch here today. I took advantage of their Monday special 599 burrito. I thought it was very good. The only complaint I would have is the cleanliness of the store there were many workers behind the counter but it didn't seem that there was anyone to clean off tables I literally had to walk around to find a clean one so I could sit down for lunch. This place is a Russian roulette of Mexican fast food. The employee turn over rate is abysmal. At times you will walk in and get good fresh food made by people that are on their game. A few weeks later, the place will be disgusting, run by people who couldn't possibly care less about their job, and you'll leave with stomach pains and diarrhea for the next 12 hours. Unfortunately, for at least 8 months or so, every time I visit it's the same. The food is old, cold, wilted, contaminated, and bland. There's a layer of filth all over everything. The windows, floors, and tables have visible grease and food crud smeared all over them. The trash is overflowing. There's food on the floor, on the seats, etc. They don't bother to clean anything. There's chicken in the steak, steak in the lettuce, chicken AND steak in the tofu, beans in the sour cream. The cleanliness is deplorable. The service is beyond poor, and the prices aren't that cheap. I've gotten some good food and great service here in the past, but for nearly a year, it's been all bad experiences for me. I think I'm done going back hoping things will get better again. There are good Moe's locations. But this has been the worst one I've experienced for quite some time now. I'm out of reasons to keep trying my luck. I hate posting negative reviews, but for a restaurant that JUST opened, I hoped they would be decent.... For starters, I walked in and looked at the menu on the wall. The menu was kind of confusing mainly because they give odd names to their food that don't even make sense.... If you want a burrito WITH guacamole, it's called "The Homewrecker," but if you want it WITHOUT guacamole, you have to order the "Joey Donuts [somethingorother] ." I didn't understand this, and had to ask an employee to help me understand the difference. Now, they make the food right in front of you, which typically would be nice if the workstations were clean.... There was scrap food everywhere.... There was lettuce in the pico-de-galo, there was chicken in the steak, and steak in the chicken... This is a HUGE taboo in the food industry.... Plus, half the veggies were old and wilted...The amazing thing was, there were 3 or 4 employees that weren't busy and could have easily grabbed a rag and wiped down the stations to make them more presentable, or freshened up the vegetables. Then it got a little weird... They asked if it was to-go. When i said "yes," they put the burrito in a bag and then dumped a bunch of tortilla chips on top of it. When i got home, i dug through the bag expecting to find some salsa, or sauce, or SOMETHING to dip the chips in, but there was nothing... Anyway, I ate the burrito. It was DECENT. It was edible, the steak was bland, the rice was dry, the corn mixture and guacamole were good, but that's about it. To top it all off, a simple burrito (no drink, no sides) cost me $10. In summary, I will not be eating here again. There are plenty of other southwest/mexican eateries in the area that are better and cheaper. read more

I went to this place one time with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered the spicy chicken bowl with the works on it and it was great. I ate myself into a food coma. The huge negative part was my experience at Moes. The manager, or shift manager, was a mid 20s lady and she appeared upset the entire time. At one point she denied someone a break because she said she didn't feel like giving the employee one and that everyone was "pissing her off today." Of course, she held a pack of cigarettes the whole time in her hand. At some point she ran out of the restaurant through the back doors and said she needed a smoke. Awwkkkkward. I get it, tensions run high during the work force, but she did it in front of everybody. I think all of the customers were a bit quiet after that outburst because it was so awkward. At the register, another customer came back to complain and our transaction was preempted until that person's complaint was dealt with. Then the person at the register asked what we had ordered even though the only thing the prep person had done right was write everything on the wrappers. Service & portion size is inadequate My husband and I have gone to this restaurant many times and it is getting worse and worse. Service is beyond poor. Portions are unacceptable for the prices they are charging. Staff is not friendly and has that "I don't want to be here waiting on customers attitude". I could not believe how dirty this place was. I went in at 11:30am so it wasn't the result of a busy day. The glass cover over the food area did not look cleaned for weeks. There were chips floating in the bottled water bin. The grill had a thick layer of burnt food with pieces of chicken and maybe steak mixed in. I'm not impressed and Moe's seems like it so desperately wants to be memorable and impressive. Their menu is a mishmash of stupid names culled from TV and Movies which tell you nothing about the actual products. Most items seem to have three categories and as far as I can tell, the real breakdown is with guacamole, without guacamole, and vegetarian. The food itself just wasn't very good. I ordered a steak burrito without guacamole (i have no idea what their name for it is). And while they have a fair selection of toppings, I opted for only a minimum (rice, onions, cilantro, and raw jalapenos) because the workstation was a mess, with many items spilled into the containers of others. When I got my burrito, the steak was cold -- colder than room temperature cold -- and flavorless. If not for the onions and jalapenos, it would have been like eating a lumpy raw tortilla. Their chips are alright, but not great. They do have a queso dip for the chips -- which tastes like white velveeta and american cheese with an occasional pepper flake tossed in -- which was, a least, more flavorful than the burrito. There are a couple upsides though. The parking is great and they have a damn cool soda machine. Ultimately, I really do not see any reason to come here, unless you are already in the lot seeing a movie (and the much better Wood-N-Tap, Chinese Food, Pizza, Bagel, and Froyo places aren't to your liking). Moe's isn't half as good as a Chipotle, and cannot even compare to the other (and now numerous) taquerias in the area. And for just under $10 for a burrito, I almost think I'd prefer Taco Bell. read more

There is no structure in this location...it is all young kids who do whatever they want. They pay no attention to the customers and all hang out and talk to eachother the whole time. I will NEVER go back to this Moe's again! I arrived and they had ran out of chicken and it was cooking so I decided to wait. When I put my order in, I asked for a steak earmuffs (bowl), 2 chicken power wagons (kids tacos) and a chicken earmuffs (bowl). They told me the chicken was going to be a while and I said it was fine but the girl decided to give me rice and steak in my steak earmuffs bowl and just left it sitting on the counter. The rice was sticky and looked a bit too mushy but I figured it shouldn't be to bad. WRONG! She then started bowling up some queso and walked away. I'm still waiting for the chicken and it's a good 5 mins later. The chicken finishes and they sprinkle it over my tacos and other bowl. I asked for a bit more chicken on the bowl bc like I said, they sprinkled it (the kids tacos had the same amount of chicken as they put on the bowl) They charged me for extra meat of course. At this point my steak bowl is cold and just sitting there. They were out of a few things on their bar and I had to wait again for them to sauté some mushrooms. At this point the girl is prepping my food and some other guy bc she was all over the place. I go to cash out and she forgets to not charge me for the kids meals I ordered (kids eat free on Tuesdays). Then charges me for extra steak instead of extra chicken. I took our meals to go to eat them at home. I threw my bowl out. It had a weird, sour taste to it and I couldn't even stand to eat half of it.
