I was going to get a salad. That was the plan when I walked in the door. And then I let my mouth loose and it ordered me a burrito. Very well filled with chicken, rice, beans, sautéed vegetables, salsa, sour cream and guacamole. Nicely wrapped by a friendly associate and I paid $7.50 for it. Burrito was good but not at all mixed. Bite of rice. Bite of sour cream. Bite of chicken. No melding or mixed flavors and the chicken seemed overdone. The salsa bar is closed because of the pandemic. My burrito was fine, though it had to be constructed a second time because the tortilla split from the ingredients. Iced tea was not available today. I usually don't drink a lot of soda, but I was content to create a Dr. Pepper concoction from the Coke machine. I recently went to this Moe's twice in January 2022 with my wife and son and we really liked it. I hadn't been to a Moe's in years and I forgot how good the food is. We had stacks both times and it was delicious! I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews but we were treated very well and we didn't know the ordering process either. This Moe's is definitely a hot spot for lunch goers. Try to get here before noon if you're in a rush. I have never been to Moe's before, so I'm not sure what to compare it to, but the portions are nice and hefty. Even a salad includes the side of chips. So much for trying to be a little healthier! The people who work here try to keep the energy up, and they handled the lunch crowd very well. I liked the flavor of the steak in my salad, and the pico was nice and fresh. A lot of people rave about their queso; I don't really know what the thrill of queso is, but theirs was very tasty and a bit addictive. My girlfriend and I went to this Moe's location after attending the motocross race at Southwick. We were properly greeted when we walked into the restaurant by Sabrina, Trevon and Jalen. They proceeded to prepare our food and did an absolutely amazing job. Not only that, but their attitudes and work ethic were outstanding. I hate leaving poor reviews. Went In tonight and ordered almost 30$ worth of food. Definitely not worth it. Rice was hard and undercooked. Only option for sautéed veggies was mushrooms and when asked for onion or peppers they said they didn't have any. Hard to believe when onion is in the pico. Had 3 pieces of adobo chicken that weren't cooked and they were large pieces. Less than a scoop of chips in the bag. And Moe's is known for the welcome to Moe's one person said it and sounded like it was a chore. Everyone seemed like they had something better to do. Couple of things not quite right with today at Moes. 1- I get push notification and emails saying it's taco Tuesday. $2 tacos. Great. Go online to order and no $2 Tacos. Checked the ad. I wasn't a huge fan of Moe's before this location opened but the great service here has turned me into a repeat customer. I work nearby on Mondays and lucky for me on "Moe's Mondays" all burritos and burrito bowls are $5.99. You're always greeted with a loud, cheerful "Welcome to Moe's" when you enter, the line moves fast, the place is clean and the food is yummy. I used to think it was on the pricey end but it's comparable to other fast food Mexican places and they have different deals on different days of the week ($5.99 Moe's Mondays and $2 off stackers on Thursdays). Also you get free chips and salsa with every meal! I love salsa so the salsa bar is awesomeeee. All in all I give this location an A+ read more

I used to like the food here, BUT UBER EATS SUCKS. AND MOE'S NOT FAR BEHIND. The restaurant itself is sometimes available on Uber Eats, (iPhone App) and other times, you can't even place an order for delivery (in the Uber Eats app). This local Moe's turns Uber on and off for no apparent reason. At times when they're not even busy. And calling Moe's is frustrating because the employees don't know how to turn the Uber system on, when the manager is not there!!! Oh, and you can't order tacos because it always says "sold out". Which can't possibly be true. You can order a kids meal with a taco, and that is never sold out. I'm frustrated, should be an easy process. There is blame on both sides, Uber Easts and Moe's, but I think Moe's is totally responsible for the food preparation, no excuses! Ordered @ 7:00 pm, @ 8pm order cancelled by Moe's, no Uber's available. Re-ordered @ 8:05, food arrived ice cold at 9:00 pm. I think it was the exact same food ordered @ 7pm. Not thrown out, and made fresh. Order was incorrect as well, almost everything ordered came opposite. Raw not grilled. Missing toppings. This place needs retraining sessions! I stopped by this Moe's location to grab some queso on my lunch break. I felt rude cutting the long line just to get queso, so I waited patiently and ordered a soft taco. I asked for tofu and was told to wait because they were apparently out on the floor. Mind you, it was noon. Okay, no problem. The employee returned from the back and notified me that they had no tofu. That's strange, I thought, but accepted it and moved along. I ordered a cup of queso and went on my merry way. The bag felt unusually light but I ignored it (poor choice!!) Fast forward to getting back to work. I open the bag and find it filled 1/4 of the way with chips. Now that seems like a normal amount of chips had I just got the taco, but I ordered a fucking CUP of queso! That's literally all I wanted. I retrieved the queso container from the bag and it felt too light. I opened it up, and much to my surprise not only is the queso discolored, the container isn't even filled half way!! What the actual fuck. This location is literally the worst. They're a bunch of slow moving morons who don't even know how to properly prepare the items on their menu. I LOVE Moe's and am frequently satisfied (having visited various locations in CT). However, today I visited the Windsor Locks location passing by the area and was extremely disappointed with my visit and meal. The 4 staff members working made very sloppy meals, were very inattentive to customers, unprepared for service, dysfunctional, rude, and did not maintain cleanliness of the restaurant. This was an outlier of several other Moe's locations I have visited and 100% blame the staff. They couldn't care less about their jobs or customers as they joked around with one another to the point that they were ineffective and inefficient. Literally the dirtiest restaurant I've seen in years. Floors: food all over them, wet spots, slippery. Tables hadn't been wiped in what looked like hours, as several of them had either leftover scraps or wet spots/grease spots on them. Managers definitely don't manage bathroom cleanliness.
