I really felt like another number instead of a patient. Dr. Dzvonick is a great listener, is reasonable, and is clearly in this business to make a positive impact in his patients' lives. Bizarre First off,…read morewebsite is deceiving as it says $320 for a consult and lab tests. Only after I paid for my consult and the additional tests did the receptionist tell me the little "2" at the end of the description leads to a footnote where the tests are separate. So my bill was almost $900 for a 35 minute consult and one saliva hormone kit and a blood test. Make sure you read EVERYTHING on the website. My primary concern was dismissed by the doctor in the first 5 min. He asked to see my skin and told me he has the same type of moles on his skin, his moles were bigger, and that they aren't connected to anything hormonal, which was my concern. This is when I should have left, since he either didn't take me seriously or didn't know how to help me with that and just couldn't admit it. Then he took my pulse and literally accused me of trying to slow down my pulse. "It was normal but then you tried to slow it down." Uhh.. what??? It made me feel belittled, again. I ended up paying for the consult and tests, went home and realized I was pretty unhappy and this wasn't going to work out. I called the next day asking for a refund and to discontinue my journey with the doctor. Came into the office, was processed the refund for the tests only. Receptionist then hands me a letter from the doctor. It was like a bad break-up letter, lol. He states that he gives the same level of care to all other patients. If that's really so, then take your money elsewhere, where you won't be dismissed for something seemingly benign. He is happy to take a pretty hefty fee of $320 and not want to make it right if you're dissatisfied. Everyone has a right to post reviews. His tried to make his letter to me intimidating, so I perhaps wouldn't be honest about my experience on the internet. Well, people have a right to know. On a happier note, the receptionist was nice and prompt. Save yourself some time and choose any other doctor he listed on his letter. Dr. Dzvonick has a HUGE ego.

After less than 5 minutes in the room, he informs me I have some kind of bacteria that I've brought back from Mexico and prescribes me high dose antibiotics. He didn't even ask me what other medications I was taking before prescribing them. I had to do the research on my own to figure out that I could have possible heart failure if I mixed these antibiotics with another medication I take daily. As if this wasn't enough, less than a month after my visit, I get a bill from the office informing me that I owe them for my visit because my insurance has refused to pay it. I immediately called my insurance and they have no record of the claim and say that as soon as they receive an invoice, they will pay it. I hang up with them and call the doctor's office. They tell me that they have billed my insurance 4 different times for the visit....in less than a month?!?! I seriously doubt it. I inform them that my insurance is more than willing to cover the visit but they have never received the invoice. They tell me they will send it again. Now, 3 months later, I get a notice that they have sent me to collections for not paying my bill. I got one notice from them...ONE! And I was in touch with their office immediately after receiving the first and only communication from them. They clearly have my address as they sent me the first notice and God knows I had to write my phone number down enough times to give me carpal tunnel syndrome. They couldn't even call and let me know they still couldn't get through to my insurance?! These people clearly care only for money and nothing for their patients.

Unfortunately, my previous dermatologist did not accept the new insurance. I found Sand Dermatology on Yelp and read through the reviews before deciding to call and schedule an appointment. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The office was bright and modern, the waiting room was spacious, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. After being shown to the examination room, I waited only a short time before Dr. Pham came in. She introduced herself and asked how she could help me. I explained my concerns, and she performed a thorough upper-body skin examination. Dr. Pham not only addressed all of my concerns, but she also noticed a few things that I hadn't even been aware of. I left the office feeling very pleased and confident that she genuinely cared about my well-being, even though it was my first visit with her. While I liked my previous dermatologist and would have continued seeing him, I often felt that some of my concerns were not taken as seriously especially after going there for well over a decade. With Dr. Pham, every concern was acknowledged immediately and addressed thoroughly. If you're looking for a new dermatologist, I highly recommend asking for Dr. Pham at Sand Dermatology. Based on my experience today, my wife and our two daughters will be scheduling appointments as well, since they also need to find a new dermatologist.

I have been a patient of Citrus Valley Internal Medicine for a little over a year. Dr Bovetas was my doctor and I think he is very good and cares about his patients. HOWEVER, some of the front office staff is absolutely horrible. I have had the same experience with the receptionist being incompetent and rude. My second visit I was 15 minutes late and they refused to see me. I thought OK, I'll give them this one. So, I booked my appointment to be their first patient of the day. They left me waiting for over an hour!!! When I asked them why the wait, the staff informed me that the doctor doesn't get in until about an hour and a half after the first appointment time! Shocked, I needed a local doctor and said, ok, this is two. I booked all my appointments around 10 am and everything ran smooth, with the exception of the rude front receptionist. This last time, I needed to see a doctor. When I called, they gave me an appointment for a week away. The day before my appointment I went to urgent care because I was getting worse. Urgent care was not able to treat me, but did process my insurance card just fine. The following day I got in my car to go to my appointment and my car would not start. I drive a 2021 vehicle and take care of it. This was a shock. I had to scramble and get a ride. I arrived 15 minutes late. I told the receptionist that I'm aware I'm late, but my car would not start, I am sick, have been waiting for 7 days for this appointment and please, please, please see me. She said I was late, and that she had checked my insurance it showed not valid. She said she called me yesterday and texted me. I gave her my new card, then she had a problem with my medicare number and unlike all the other doctors I go to, this office could not pull it up. The receptionist said "we don't do that here". Our conversation continued. The receptionist kept interrupting me, trying to talk over me. Finally told her I don't want to argue, I'll just pay cash. She went off to find someone else. Another woman came out and told me that they'd be happy to make another appointment for me but I could not see the doctor because I was late. This woman was just as non-friendly as the receptionist, with an attitude that was worse. I left. -- I checked my phone and the receptionist did call the day before but I did not have record of a text. -- I called back, saying I wanted to see the doctor ASAP, I'd pay cash, and the person offered me an appointment a week from now. I told him about the problems with the front office. He confirmed the policy for late was 15 minutes. Then he refused to make an appointment for me, without my medicare number, even though I offered to pay cash until this could all be settled, I would have my medicare number by the time of the appointment. He said no. I was transferred to Dr. Bovetas' assistant so I asked if there was a way I could get a confidential message to the doctor, I explained that I wanted to talk to the doc, but felt this was very personal and did not want to share this. His assistant said there was no way to do that. So, Dr Bovetas, guess you'll have to read it here. To the Yelp Audience: If you want horrible service from people who appear to be incompetent and/or have antiquated systems and processes, are rude, totally uncaring, and inconsistent with their policies, go here.

I picked up my prescriptions like usual and had a new emergency medicine I didn't even know was from them. The man's name who I spoke to wasn't on it. I also didn't know I had to bring my own inhaler they claimed I couldn't use their equipment because of Covid. I didn't know a medical test could be done without using the facility's medical equipment. The girl administrating the test was nice, but I got a total of 2 minutes with the pa. Lastly, the receptionist were unprofessional I had to ask for my id and insurance card back before I left since they forgot they still had it. You could also hear them talking and laughing loudly like most clinics. The clinic is like if a dollar tree company owned it. The walls were dirty, needed to be repainted, peeling paint, the walls were bare, the stool was old and rusted, the chairs were the small metal kind you see in a school.
