I really felt like another number instead of a patient. Dr. Dzvonick is a great listener, is reasonable, and is clearly in this business to make a positive impact in his patients' lives. Bizarre First off,…read morewebsite is deceiving as it says $320 for a consult and lab tests. Only after I paid for my consult and the additional tests did the receptionist tell me the little "2" at the end of the description leads to a footnote where the tests are separate. So my bill was almost $900 for a 35 minute consult and one saliva hormone kit and a blood test. Make sure you read EVERYTHING on the website. My primary concern was dismissed by the doctor in the first 5 min. He asked to see my skin and told me he has the same type of moles on his skin, his moles were bigger, and that they aren't connected to anything hormonal, which was my concern. This is when I should have left, since he either didn't take me seriously or didn't know how to help me with that and just couldn't admit it. Then he took my pulse and literally accused me of trying to slow down my pulse. "It was normal but then you tried to slow it down." Uhh.. what??? It made me feel belittled, again. I ended up paying for the consult and tests, went home and realized I was pretty unhappy and this wasn't going to work out. I called the next day asking for a refund and to discontinue my journey with the doctor. Came into the office, was processed the refund for the tests only. Receptionist then hands me a letter from the doctor. It was like a bad break-up letter, lol. He states that he gives the same level of care to all other patients. If that's really so, then take your money elsewhere, where you won't be dismissed for something seemingly benign. He is happy to take a pretty hefty fee of $320 and not want to make it right if you're dissatisfied. Everyone has a right to post reviews. His tried to make his letter to me intimidating, so I perhaps wouldn't be honest about my experience on the internet. Well, people have a right to know. On a happier note, the receptionist was nice and prompt. Save yourself some time and choose any other doctor he listed on his letter. Dr. Dzvonick has a HUGE ego.

Unfortunately, my previous dermatologist did not accept the new insurance. I found Sand Dermatology on Yelp and read through the reviews before deciding to call and schedule an appointment. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The office was bright and modern, the waiting room was spacious, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. After being shown to the examination room, I waited only a short time before Dr. Pham came in. She introduced herself and asked how she could help me. I explained my concerns, and she performed a thorough upper-body skin examination. Dr. Pham not only addressed all of my concerns, but she also noticed a few things that I hadn't even been aware of. I left the office feeling very pleased and confident that she genuinely cared about my well-being, even though it was my first visit with her. While I liked my previous dermatologist and would have continued seeing him, I often felt that some of my concerns were not taken as seriously especially after going there for well over a decade. With Dr. Pham, every concern was acknowledged immediately and addressed thoroughly. If you're looking for a new dermatologist, I highly recommend asking for Dr. Pham at Sand Dermatology. Based on my experience today, my wife and our two daughters will be scheduling appointments as well, since they also need to find a new dermatologist.

She truly took the time to get a thorough history from me, about my complaints and about my health overall and she did a very thorough physical exam on me too. I came in with so many complaints, as I was dealing with a lot and also had not had time to see a doctor for months, and she truly was so patient with me and gave me her time. It is tough finding practitioners these days who actually give you a through visit, and who actually think critically and consider different differentials, since usually they are trying to just get to the next patient. So I was definitely very much in awe of PA Rutledge's patient care skills. We definitely need more providers like her in the medical field. My experience at the clinic was overall great as the staff were all very nice and I was seen in a timely manner upon arrival for my appointment!

My father was recovering from a leg amputation due to complications from advanced diabetes. At the time, he required dialysis three times per week, ongoing medication management, and transportation assistance to attend his treatments. During a scheduled appointment, my family requested assistance with obtaining necessary diabetes and blood pressure medications, as well as help submitting a transportation authorization referral required by his insurance carrier. We were advised by Patricia Greco that she could not assist with certain medication and referral requests. Because this did not seem consistent with what we had been told by the insurance company, I contacted the insurer directly. The insurance representative worked with the provider's office and informed me that the office had verbally agreed to submit the transportation authorization. Unfortunately, we later learned that the authorization was never submitted. At the same time, my father's blood pressure medication was never received by the pharmacy despite it being discussed during the appointment. I personally contacted the pharmacy multiple times and made several attempts to reach Patricia Greco's assistant, Carolina. I left detailed voicemails requesting assistance and explaining the urgency of the situation, yet I never received a return call, update, or follow-up. For a patient recovering from major surgery and relying on life-sustaining dialysis treatments, the lack of communication, follow-through, and urgency was extremely concerning. Our family felt abandoned during one of the most vulnerable periods of my father's recovery. I understand that healthcare offices are busy and that mistakes can happen. However, when patients with serious medical needs are involved, timely communication and follow-through are essential. In our experience, those expectations were not met. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this provider or office. We felt that obtaining basic assistance required repeated phone calls, involvement from the insurance company, and significant self-advocacy during a time when our focus should have been on my father's recovery. I hope this feedback encourages the office to improve its responsiveness, patient communication, and overall coordination of care so that other families do not experience similar challenges. -- Jesus Gonzalez Concerned Family Member and Patient Advocate

But of course they didn't tell me that during my phone consolidation, or when I scheduled my follow up appointment. They did a quick 10 minute skin test, then did a real test to find out my body didn't respond at all since I still had those meds in my system. I picked up my prescriptions like usual and had a new emergency medicine I didn't even know was from them. The man's name who I spoke to wasn't on it. I also didn't know I had to bring my own inhaler they claimed I couldn't use their equipment because of Covid. I didn't know a medical test could be done without using the facility's medical equipment. The girl administrating the test was nice, but I got a total of 2 minutes with the pa. It's disappointing I spent more time finding the building than with the person who can answer my questions. Lastly, the receptionist were unprofessional I had to ask for my id and insurance card back before I left since they forgot they still had it. You could also hear them talking and laughing loudly like most clinics. The clinic is like if a dollar tree company owned it. The walls were dirty, needed to be repainted, peeling paint, the walls were bare, the stool was old and rusted, the chairs were the small metal kind you see in a school.
