I was referred to this clinic by another dentist who was warm, compassionate, and genuinely cared about my well-being. Unfortunately, my experience at the referred clinic with Mr. Mohseni was the exact opposite. From the beginning, the visit felt transactional rather than patient-focused. Despite already having X-rays completed by the referring dentist, I was told I needed to redo them without a clear explanation. Mr. Mohseni spent no more than three minutes with me--there was no real consultation, no opportunity to ask questions or discuss treatment options. When I asked about the cost, I was told, "You don't ask the doctor for price"--a response that struck me as both dismissive and unprofessional. Within moments, I was handed a $1,500 quote for a root canal. I was told that if I had the procedure done that day, my consultation fee would be applied in full. But if I waited just two days, only half of it would count--and I'd also be charged an extra $50 just to schedule. The entire experience felt more like a sales pitch than a medical visit. I left feeling taken advantage of and deeply uncomfortable. I've since canceled the appointment--losing the additional $50, which was non-refundable, but honestly, I consider it money well spent to avoid returning. Dental care should be about trust, transparency, and respect. Patients deserve to feel heard, not rushed or dismissed. I sincerely hope this clinic rethinks its approach--compassion and integrity go a lot further than pressure and profit-driven practices. read more

I fell asleep in the chair during my procedure. I do not recommend this dentist. He was rude and disrespectful. I was kept waiting for about 1 hour and a half for consulting about one of my teeth, although I had an appointment. When I complained about this to their staff she told me that I had to reschedule!! Later the doctor treated me disrespectfully when I rejected to take more x-rays since I had a clear x-ray from two weeks before! It is notable that when I asked the staff why they needed more x-ray, she answered me that it would be better to have an in-office x-ray!! The doctor did not care answering my question! Dr. Mohseni did a surgery on my molar tooth, 5 weeks ago. He was so kind, caring & professional. During procedure & after I had no pain. I did not even need to take any pain medication. Healing was so great that after 3 days I started eating on surgery side & now looking at the gingiva it looks so healthy with no symptoms. This review is long overdue. I went to Dr. Mohseni back in April 2020 to get an opinion as my previous dentist recommend a root canal during that time. Getting appointment was easy and I met Dr. Mohseni in his Laguna Hills Office on Friday AM as I request an emergency appointment as I had massive tooth pain at that time. After Dr. Mohseni thorough examination, he informed me that my general dentist recommendation was completely wrong diagnosis!!! I couldn't believe that I allowed that previous general dentist to work on my mouth and she previously sold me on four feelings in past two years that I probably did not need to do. :( I can't thank Dr. Mohseni enough on being so honest and opening his office on Friday to examine me as most offices were closed due to Covid-19 lockdown at that time. At the end, I am glad that I took the extra due diligence on seeking 2nd opinion from Dr. Mohseni. Not only is Dr. Mohseni is a great endodontist but he also has a sense of civility and has highest level of integrity and honesty toward his patients. BE CAREFUL WITH HIS CHARGES!!! I I went to see him last December 2021. The office charged me $444.20 telling me that once the insurance process the claim , they were going to return any money that could be in my favor . First, They didn't turn the right information to the insurance so the insurance couldn't process the claim. I had to call them many times and I wrote a couple of emails without any success. I finally contacted the insurance with whom I have a 3 way call with the office. They couldn't explain the charges and why they couldn't return the rest of the money. They kept saying they didn't have to return my money. I know I have an accent and my English is not perfect but I'm not an idiot and I know how to defend my rights. After contacting the dental board of California and the insurance they reimbursed the money which they didn't want to reimburse. I consider it very unprofessional and for this reason I wouldn't recommend this dentist and I would warn you to check your invoice/ insurance and what is he charging you. This is the worst dental experience I've had in my life. I had two root canals done at the same time with Dr. Mohseni. One of them is fine. The other never stopped hurting. I went to another dentist and he told me that due to the location of the nerve, Dr. Mohseni never should've done a root canal in the first place. I went to another dentist to double check, and I was told the same thing. When I called Dr. Mohseni's office to say I still had pain, instead of being sympathetic, they wanted to charge me for another office visit. I told them I was fine paying for the first root canal, but I requested a refund for the second one. Even though it never should have been done and I was in constant pain, they refused to refund me. Five weeks later, I had to pay even more money to another doctor to get the tooth extracted, and now I have to pay for an implant on top of it. These people are arrogant, dishonest, and incompetent. They charged my insurance more than they told me and pretty much maxed out my benefits. Again, no apology. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. I spent MONTHS in severe pain because of Dr. Mohseni, and he didn't even have the decency to apologize and refund me. read more

Was referred to Dr. Mohseni by my Dentist to have a root canal. I was in a lot of pain going into the procedure, but had no pain throughout the procedure (he was good at anesthetizing the gums and tissue around the problem tooth, which if you've ever had a bad experience with you can appreciate greatly). Dr. Mohseni worked quick, methodically, and very gently. His assistant worked well with him and kept my mouth dry while he worked. I walked out after the procedure feeling close to 100%. After talking to his assistant she told Dr. Mohseni about my son's experience years ago and he immediately treated me like an old friend. I have dental anxiety but when I arrived his assistant put me at ease (she is wonderful!) and Dr. Mohseni was incredibly kind, gentle and was able to complete my root canal quickly and with no added pain (he's excellent at making you comfortable throughout your procedure). if there was negative star in the reviews, this office would have deserved that.   This guy (he should not be called a doctor) only thinks about money, he is not a doctor.   My wife went to his office for a visit.  1st of all the office staff were very unorganized, they did not have her files and documents.   Doctor was extremely rude, he had the worst attitude.   My wife asked the doctor to look at two of her teeth and he said he can only check one tooth per visit !!   We called the insurance right after we left the office and they said that is not true.
