She had me ice my lips first and then walked me through exactly how and where she would inject. The Juvéderm was still in the carton which she opened up in front of me. I chose Juvéderm Ultra Plus since I was looking for a more pouty full look. With each injection, she had me check in the mirror to make sure I was satisfied and to stop if I felt it was enough. I felt extremely comfortable with her. My lips turned out beautiful and I recommend Skin Science for all your skin care needs!

My past guru would inject at least 8-10 times to make sure they were PERFECTION. They want you in-and-out at this place! Aesthetically displeasing and distracting. Owner/injector DO NOT care about patients results- only up-selling product! Requested to do half a syringe- got pushed into doing a whole one one. I've been to two AMAZING dermas who would only do half-syringe at a time because they didn't want customer to hate results!! Not intimidate them by forcing a $60 service-fee when you already pay upward of $600 for service. Do yourself a favor and go to a med-spa who actually cares about your appearance- not just on sales!

After completing both sessions, I was unhappy with the results and did not feel the treatment was worth the cost or discomfort. I raised my concerns with LaserAway, and Brian from Client Experience responded on March 25, 2023. His recommendation was to purchase additional treatments, with a 25% discount on additional applicators. That was frustrating because I had already completed the number of sessions I was originally told should be appropriate. I responded to Brian on April 5 explaining that I was disappointed with the results and did not plan to purchase more sessions. Danielle was copied on the email. I received no response. On April 11, I had to follow up again and ask whether anyone planned to respond to my previous email. I understand that results from cosmetic treatments can vary. My issue is how the situation was handled. I relied on the recommendation I was given, was unhappy with the outcome, and the solution offered was simply to purchase more treatments. When I explained that I was not interested in spending more money and was dissatisfied with the service, my email went unanswered. The injections were rough, I had significant swelling and bruising around my lips, and I was given no aftercare instructions. My lips went back to their original size within a month. When I called, I was told I needed a second syringe and that this had supposedly been discussed during my visit. I went back, and instead of addressing why the filler didn't last, she tried to sell me a third syringe, commenting that my smile was "very wide." Once again, the results faded within a month. In February 2026, I went to a different injector (BRN, RN). She was thorough, gentle, and professional. She couldn't even feel any prior filler in my lips. I received one syringe, had no bruising, minimal swelling, and loved the results. The difference in skill and professionalism was night and day. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this provider.
