Seated immediately at the 11:10 am time frame. Restaurant about 30% capacity to start the lunch as the lunch specials don't start until 11am. Chips and salsa brought right away as we were still getting situated in our chairs. Waiter came and we ordered water and then continued to peruse the menu. Decided on lunch special #1 which is guacamole, retried beans, a beef taco and chili relleno with choice of cheese or red sauce. Also ordered the guacamole en vivo which is Made fresh table side using two avocados. Guacamole was excellent and the special was good with the highlight being the relleno! I would certainly steer you away from Mojitos. I had the beef nachos and a margarita... the nachos were inedible - really, I quit after only a few bites. The marg was a 3 out of 10 . Table service was below average (when a server takes a full plate of food off the table they might at least ask if there was a problem). There are plenty of other Mexican grill choices in the area. This is my new "go to" Tex-Mex Style Restaurant. I haven't tried a whole lot of different things, but their enchiladas, burritos, tamales and salsa are great. I do wish the tortilla chips were thinner, but they're good overall. I usually get the create your own entree with "choose two" or "choose three" with rice and Charro beans (better than re-fried). I usually get great service, although sometimes you have to try to catch your waiter/waitress for salsa and chips refills. It's not a big deal, and they do work hard. The staff is very friendly and they don't seem to try to rush you in and out of the place like some restaurants. I don't drink alcoholic drinks, so I can't give input on that. I do think $3 is a little much for a fountain drink, but they give you a huge glass, so you aren't having to ask for constant refills if you drink a lot of soft drinks. Their entree prices seem quite reasonable, and you get a good portion of well flavored food. The only thing that would give them five stars for me is to have different tortilla chips. The tortilla chips are a little thicker than I like and aren't always warm, but that's not a deal breaker. read more

I've been here a couple of times and the food is pretty solid. This time I ordered the seafood enchiladas because I wanted to try something other then the sour cream chicken enchiladas and a tamale that I usually order. The enchiladas were decent, but they were smothered in a white cheese sauce which was too much for me; simply because I don't like a lot of cheese and because it was running over into my beans and rice. On the inside of the enchiladas was an imitation crab meat, small shrimp and tons of onions. Although it was a decent ratio of meat in the filling, by the time I reached half way into the 2 enchilada, I was over the onions in the filling....or maybe I was just full, but they began to be a little bit overwhelming. The beans and rice were just OK so I can't brag too much about them. The servers were nice and I sat outside on the patio on a perfect day..so that's always a plus. My wife & I stopped in for an early supper (530pm) today. Found them through Yelp, as we are from out of state, and visiting the area this week. From the moment we walked in, we felt like they appreciated us choosing to dine with them. Our waitress was AWESOME! Like 50% tip awesome! Quick, witty, attentive and thorough. My wife liked her cosmo and I appreciated Angry Orchard on tap. The food was fantastic! Ate at the new Mojitos for lunch today. I've not experienced the one in Fayetteville so I was not sure what to expect. I would say its in the middle between your run of the mill Mexican restaurants that we have all over our area and an Abuelos. It was a large place with a lot of seating and a very large bar area with seats all around and many tv's around the bar so it does look like a great place for after hours and happy hour. We started with an appetizer of some tableside made guacamole. It was very good. The chips and salsa get two thumbs up also though the salsa could have been more "meaty" and less soupy. They have a huge menu and I was suprised that I had to ask for the lunch menu-which they do have so make sure you get that if you are there at lunch. Smaller portions and much cheaper. I had the fajitas. They were ok. I have had better at my local Las Palmas both in presentation (strips of steak and chicken vs "squirrley meat") and flavor. Plenty of it though. My friends had the chilli relleno and tacos, both said they were "ok" too. The highlight, aside from the guacamole which nearly filled us up, was the dessert. I think the waitress called it the "Xanga" (pronounced Changa). It was a creamy cheesecake filled sopapilla basically coated in sugar and served on a plate with warm honey, two scoops of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. It took three of us to eat it-very rich but very good. All in all it was a decent experience and a good lunch. I'd go back definitely and look forward to trying something different on the menu (fish tacos perhaps) as well as a margarita :) read more

Just curious if the day will ever come to where NW Arkansas will ever have a "Mexican" style food establishment where one can have a calm quiet meal??? The "Happy Birthday" clapping thing is annoying and reminds me of being at a Chuck E Cheese. The food thankfully is always consistently good and plentiful. The wait staff is attentive while possibly a bit too much. Got tired of being interrupted with whether or not we needed anything. While that's appreciated, it can become annoying after a dozen times. All in all it's Mexican fare that we've all become very accustomed to in NW Arkansas. I will say as far as the food goes it's above average. And the atmosphere at the Rogers location is a bit better than the Fayetteville location. The accoustics at the Fayetteville location is on the verge of intollerable. For me it's beyond what I can stand. Some people it might not bother? If you like good Mexican food and don't mind the noise nor want to have a conversation with those you're dining with, then this is the place. read more

Typical Americanized Mexican food. They have guacamole which tastes like it was made from the guacamole powder sold at Walmart and sour cream. It did not taste fresh. It was ok. I honestly have had worse though. Aaaaannnnnd their other option is "queso" which is really just nacho cheese but its white, not yellow. Big deal. That bugged me. It shouldn't but it did. I ordered the fish tacos. It was just three tacos. No rice and beans or side salad. I had to order the beans on the side just so I had something else to eat other than just the tacos that did NOT, by the way, have cabbage on them !!! OMG!! What is wron with the world? And the worse part of my experience is that the prices on the menu do not match at all!!! My moms menu (for example) said a plate was $11.99 and my menu said it was $14.99 These may not be the exact prices quoted but when we asked her why the difference in pricing, she said she didn't know and although she did offer to ask, you would think they would've caught that error. They were all sorts of wrong. And my food was spicy. It didn't say on the menu it would be spicy. I did not like my experience there although it looks like a hip spot to hang, it did not look Mexican at all. They did have a lot of tv's which is good to watch games and they did have specials, but I don't think I'd go back there. I'll have to go somewhere else for real Mexican. read more

I order a happy hour margarita, not the best but for the price was pretty decent. The margarita came in a super cool curved glass, fun bar atmosphere with plenty of space. The food is really good... once you get it. The host was going to seat my companion and myself at a teeny-tiny 2-top in the middle of several large tables crowded with parents and their small children. I like kids, but mine's grown so I prefer to sit with the grownups. I asked, and he instead seated me in a booth on the much quieter side of the dining room. A young woman brought chips and salsa. The chips are thick and lightly salted. The salsa has good flavor and just a little heat. My coworker was parking the car while I secured the table. When she came in she checked at the host stand with the 4 (yes 4) people standing there, told them she was meeting someone who was already seated... no response from the hosts... she described me... still no response from the hosts... and finally settled on "I guess I'll just go find her myself." Luckily it's not that big of a place so her wandering was short. We looked over the menu, nibbled on chips, and watched the tornado coverage on the MANY TVs hanging from the ceiling. This place is pretty short on atmosphere. There's art on the outer walls but the alley of brown booths and gray walls down the middle is a bit boring. We waited... it's a good thing I didn't choke on a chip or something because nearly 15 minutes in, the only waiter I had seen was the one who was visibly irritated that the host sat me in his section. Finally, Samir came to our rescue. He asked if we had a waiter, and was clearly concerned that we had waited so long. He apologized and asked what we would like to drink. We both ordered water. I asked for a drink menu. On the topic of drinks... isn't the bar a HUGE moneymaker for a restaurant? Why did I have to ask for the drink menu? The host should have had it when I was seated. Samir returned with waters, we ordered drinks, followed a few minutes later by our entrees. A few minutes pass, about 10 since the drinks were ordered, and Samir pops over to check on our drinks... where are the drinks? He gets them from the bar. My mojito is REALLY good. Easily the top 3 mojitos I've ever had. GREAT job on the classic mojito guys. My coworker had the skinny-frozen margarita. Aside from it being barely slushy, she said it was really good. We are nearing the bottom of the chips and the salsa's almost gone. Another member of the staff offers to get more. Before he can get back, the young woman who brought the first batch of chips/salsa offers to fetch more... Just how many people are responsible for our table and why did it take them so long to discover we were there? The second batch of salsa has a different flavor and it's much hotter. Just as well, I've already eaten too many chips. The food arrives, I had the Street Tacos. One steak, one pulled pork and 2 chicken -- each one topped with onion and cilantro. They came with soupy beans and tomatillo salsa. The pulled pork is very much BBQ pulled pork, sans sauce. Must be an AR thing. The meat was tender, juicy, smokey and well spiced. I kind of expected it to be more like carnitas, but it was very good. The chicken taco was also well seasoned. All white meat, it was very good. It's so easy to dry out chicken but that did not happen here. The steak on the third taco was grilled and chopped fine. Again, it's well seasoned and juicy. I topped each of these with the tangy tomatillo salsa. Each one was terrific. I would order these again. My coworker had a tamale (a HUGE FAT OVER STUFFED tamale) and a tostada. She really enjoyed them. Niether one of us could eat the entire meal. Once we had a waiter, we were pretty well taken care of. Samir did a great job and was very excited and enthusiastic about the food. In chatting at the end of the meal he encouraged us to come back again and try one of his favorite entrees. It's nice to see that he knows the menu, many waiters don't take the time to learn them. I see that Mojitos has not been open very long, hopefully these are training issues that will work out over time. I also hope that's sooner rather than later because the food is really quite good. We usually order the Cazueladas which gives us a good portion of fajita meat, combination of steak, pork, chicken, shrimp, chorizo and have the portions of onions jalapeños and bell peppers. and they say it serves two people but it really could serve 3 1/2. read more

My fiance and I just moved to northwest AR and were pretty stoked to try out Mojitos. We love mexican restaurants! We actually tried this place twice. First experience was OK and weren't over impressed the second time either. Both times, we were seated upon arrival. Chips and salsa arrived almost as fast as we sat down. First experience, our waiter seemed new. Our appetizer order was wrong. We didn't send it back and he didn't charge us for it, so I can't complain too much. We asked for the drink menu and he pulled out a crumpled paper with drink options. That was weird. No table drink menus? I ordered the tortilla soup and it was horrible. Second experience I ordered the fish tacos... I've had better. They have a skinny margarita which was tasty, but we still didn't see a drink menu.
