Had a work trip to Norcross (Atlanta area) and discovered Mojitos--what a gem! The Cuban food is absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the atmosphere is lively and fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was outstanding from start to finish. If you love Cuban food, this is definitely a must-visit spot. We'll absolutely be back!

It took 20 minutes to get greeted by our server and asked if we wanted waters. After that, he was good. The ham croquettes were warm and addicting, and the mashed yuca with garlic sauce was good too. The lechon was a bit dry. The sandwich was delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance was what I expected.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Awesome place! Located in old historic norcross! Walking distance to many cute fun places![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love when there is a festival going on. I can get a refreshing mojito and take it for a stroll! Although I think the cup has a hole in it because the libation goes away so fast. The flavors here are big. And you will feel full! I personally love the tamal! Churrasco is also top of my list. The avocado salsa is to die for! I always get good service!

Enjoyed a team dinner at Mojitos on a Tuesday evening. We enjoyed the Yuka fries and empanadas to start! Delicious. Also the squash soup, baked rice and chicken(enough for two), seafood and more. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have live music certain nights and BOGO happy hour.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We've been here a few times whenever we travel to the area and the food is always excellent. We always seem to come when it is raining outside, so [[HIGHLIGHT]]the cozy atmosphere is nice to escape to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My mother-in-law is Cuban and a good cook, so we have high standards, and are never disappointed with the food here. Definitely recommend!

Such a romantic low lit spot to go out to eat! There is a full bar and the ambiance is very romantic and charming. It was slow this time of night and got a table right away. Our server was nice and cordial. For starters we got tequeños and empanadas assortment. Tequeños are like cheese filled croissants. Those are always a hit! Empanadas we're yummy with the avocado sauce. The plates were a churrascho which was a perfectly grilled juicy steak. Chicken ala plan ja which was juicy and not dried out. Vaca Frita was a tasty shredded beef plate and the steak bistec was flavorful. Overall a wonderful bang for you Buck. Also they are known for their mojitos which are fabulous!

Guantanamera salad -- one portion, plenty for three people!

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. I vacillate between two and three stars but feeling magnanimous -- plus I like the staff -- I go with three. Having a range of places to consider for my birthday dinner, I chose Mojitos, thinking about their (formerly) wonderful paella. ^^^ Don't let my photo of the paella fool you. The kitchen spent more time "styling" the dish than in preparing it. A couple of big shrimp, a few mussels (two of which had closed shells), two crab claws and a few pieces of plantains were strategically placed on top of a mound of rice big enough to feed the whole restaurant. Chunks of pork were tough and flavorless. Minced chicken and seafood, indistinguishable and likely frozen, interspersed with the rice. A big NO! ^^^ Their white sangria -- used to be my favorite - is now some pineapple juice concoction. Really? ^^^ What saved the meal: Guantanamera salad of field greens, carmelized pecans, diced pears and feta cheese with a delightful guava and sherry vinaigrette. One portion is enough for three even four people as a starter. Our waiter was friendly and on-the-ball. The manager, very nice and solicitous. (She made adjustments because of the paella.) But this was hardly a birthday dinner. I want a recount! Later this week, we'll go to Bacchanalia! Now THAT will be a birthday dinner!

We've been here twice and found it through Yelps amazing reviews. These reviews are spot on!! We loved it!! The Mojitos look amazing and the food is even better! They also have a kids menu. I ordered the Stuffed Rice both times which comes with Tostones and Avocado salad. The Stuffed Rice has multiple layers of yellow rice, cheese and shredded white meat chicken. It's delicious!! My husband ordered the Ropa Vieja which he said tasted great but the meat was a little tough. The plantains and white rice and black beans were all delicious as well. The service was amazing!! Multiple people were checking on our table and providing refills, napkins, etc. There's free parking right outside the restaurant. We went in and were seated right away for lunch on the weekend. I'd highly recommend this restaurant!!

I visited Mojito's with a group of friends. This was my first time at this location. I visited the one in Peachtree Corners years ago. We started out with the plantains and empanadas. These were delicious, and I wished I had stopped there. I selected the vaca frita for my main course, and I was not wowed by it. I expected a flavorful meal with seasoning, and this meal fell short. Thank goodness for the rice and beans and food conversation. Most of our party took the rest of their food to go. I didn't hear any wow responses to the various meals (oxtails, old clothes, stuffed rice). Our server was nice and attentive, and the restaurant is quaint and attractive. Unfortunately, it would not be at the top of my list for a revisit.

Second trip here. I would have give it 5 stars first time, but this trip was a little off. And just so you know, Mojitos is a 40 mile drive for me, so it had to be good. First, this is a Cuban restaurant and prides itself on authenticity. Drinks are tasty and strong. We had the Marquitas appetizer pictured, both trips. Plantain chips loaded with chicken, cheese, black beans, and more. Super yummy and a meal in itself. Last trip we both had paella's. Huge portion, generous on the protein. I definitely recommend. This trip, we both opted for sandwiches. Also both very good. So here are two things that went wrong on second trip. First, it was easily 15 minutes before we saw a waiter. Not even a glass of water. Service was on point after that, so normally I probably wouldn't bring it up. But what really bothered me was I chose the avocado salad as my side. It was basically guacamole with a little extra tomato and maybe onion. AND it came out grayish-green. I'm a guacamole fiend. I get it every chance I can and even make it at home. It absolutely has to be made fresh. If you can't, don't serve it. I tried a few bites anyway, but it had that overly mushy texture and musty flavor that I couldn't handle. This was the only item I've had there in either trip that didn't deserve a top rating. Shame on the kitchen for serving it. I'll go back though. But I was hoping to get the manager's attention with the review, and let everyone know to avoid the guacamole salad

Had lunch first time at the restaurant in early June. Ordered the Cuban sampler for lunch and shared the croquetas with my daughters. My oldest daughter and I ate the most of them and my youngest had one bite. Within 30min I had the worst case of food poisoning in my life at 9 month's pregnant. My daughters had hives. My oldest had hives all over her body. Went to the emergency room just because it was causing major discomfort for a week and a half! Called this place several times on different days. Left messages for the manager to call me back so I could find out what ingredients that used because we never had a reaction like this before to Cuban food at a restaurant. They never called back or even showed that they cared. Last time I called, the manager couldn't speak with me because they were at some event in Norcross. Beware... if you get sick, they don't care....

We had a party of 2 at 7:45 on a Friday night, 2/25/22. We didn't have to wait, but it was still packed! Here's what we got: - Ropa Vieja ($16): Pretty good. The plantains were amazinggggg. - Cuban Sandwich ($12): My husband said it was good, but not the best he's had. Service was good and quick! Overall, decent food, good portions, reasonably priced. We do think there's better Cuban in the area though.

I also appreciated the self-serve stations for sauces, water, utensils, and to-go boxes. I'm usually not the biggest fan of Cuban cuisine, but was in the area and decided to give it a try anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything I ordered was better than expected. I went with the Combination Sampler, which is great if you want a little taste of everything. It came with a chicken empanada, papa rellena, fried yuca, ham croquettes, sweet plantains, and tostones. Overall, everything was prepared nicely. The only item I wasn't crazy about was the chicken empanada, which tasted a little plain and dry on its own. However, once paired with the sauces, it was much better. Speaking of sauces, they offer plenty of options at the sauce station. My favorite was the creamy cilantro sauce, which paired well with almost everything. They also had ketchup and mayo; perfect for dipping the crispy yuca fries. Along with a spicy sauce that definitely brought the heat. My go-to Cuban dish is usually a Cuban sandwich, but I didn't get a chance to try theirs this visit. Based on the rest of the meal, though, I'd definitely come back for it next time.

It was early so the dining room had only two or three occupied tables and no one at the bar in the back yet. I was greeted immediately and waited a short time for my order to be ready. All the way home I could smell delicious odors from the bag! I ordered Churrasco de Entrada which is grilled skirt steak with chimichurri sauce and two sides. The steak was amazing! Tender, juicy, melted in my mouth. I had grilled vegetables and baked potato for sides. The vegetables were a mixture of broccoli, cauliflower, pea pods, carrots, and zucchini. They were cooked well and flavored with garlic. The foil packet of potatoes contained three small round potatoes also perfectly cooked through not seasoned at all. The meal came with three small dinner rolls and a few packets of butter. Everything was flavorful and delicious; garlic was quite strong though which I loved but might not be everyone's liking. I also ordered Alfajores from the bakery section for dessert. These are little sandwiches with soft shortbread cookies on the outside and soft dulce de leche and coconut filling between them. What I don't understand is how a restaurant can be out of multiple sides that are supposed to come with the meal, yet still charge full price. The meal alone was $35. My son wanted additional items, so I still ordered food for him, but because the side options were so limited, I decided not to order anything for myself. In total, I ended up spending around $45, and the whole experience was just very disappointing. I really could've just bought the ingredients and made the meal myself, but I've been busy working in the house and handling a few projects, and before I realized it, the day had already gotten late.
