So far, EVERYTHING on the menu sounds delicious and the quandary I found myself in was that I was so pulled in a million directions on what I wanted to order...I just couldn't decide! We started with Carolina Tater Skins. Absolutely DELICIOUS! Potato skins with Roast Pork, cheese, bacon, green onions, topped with bbq sauce...cup of sour cream in the middle. Didn't last over 3 minutes for the two of us and there were 6 of them! They were THAT delicious. I ordered the Birria Tacos (3) with a side salad and my husband got the Cuban Clucker sandwich with a side of crinkle fries. We spoke to our waitress about how we had wanted to try their food for awhile now but just so happened to find ourselves about 1.3 miles from this location tonight and made the decision to try them tonight! She said they were best known for their wings and just how to get them. So we also ordered 10 wings done just that way. Our meals were brought not too long after we demolished our fabulous appetizer. Wow! Absolutely crazy good! I pounded the three Birria Tacos in record time, in between also demolishing my side salad. My husband said his fries were perfect and he's STILL working on that huge sandwich as I write this! Lol The chicken wings, while they looked delicious, once I tried one, there was a strange fishy taste that came across so strong on the wings that didn't have the sweet and spicy sauce on them, that I couldn't eat them. It actually made me gag. I just couldn't eat them. The waitress asked us how we liked them, so I explained what was wrong with them. She offered to have them remade but we declined. She told the manager to come speak to us about them. He was nice enough, but looked intimidated by us (a 61 and 62 yr old?) and kinda looked anywhere but at me when I was explaining what the problem was with the wings. He was said he'd investigate. Our waitress came back and asked if he spoke with us. I said he did. She asked what he said and I said he told us he'd investigate the problem. She asked us if he said he's take the wings off our bill and I said no. She said she'd take them off anyways because it was a whole 10 wings we didn't eat. I said, thanks but I'm not trying to get free food especially if she gets in trouble for doing that. She said but you didn't even eat them! I said she couldn't have paid ME to eat them! The taste was so gross I actually used a napkin to wipe the taste off my tongue! She laughed. We went ahead and ordered dessert to make up for the wings we sent back and then didn't want after all. The bourbon peach bread pudding turned out to be sold out, so we settled on beignet bites for him and Pecan Pie for myself. Both were EXCELLENT! WE will definitely be back to see our fantastic waitress Anna and to try more of their menu because they have some of the most delicious sounding entrees! All in all, we were impressed by the fantastic food (minus the fishy wings), but everything was fresh, delicious and very decently priced! Great place to bring the family because there's something for everyone here. Chicken tenders to burgers and all kinds of sandwiches, soups, salads, pasta...diversity without being outrageous. Great combos! Can't wait to try something else next visit! You know it was a great meal when your husband turns to you as you're walking to the car together and he says "thank you babe. That was really good!". 'Nuff said?

I am so conflicted but I'm going to give it 3 stars. The vibes were all there! The decor, the staff and the atmosphere. What made me give it 3 stars? The over fried food :( The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The hostess nearly had a heart attack when we told her 15 people but Mr. Michael was more than accommodating and our waitress Destiny crashed out before we were seated but she was on it, friendly and attentive! She always made sure we were looked at and answered our questions. Alright the food ..... While for the most part it was DELICIOUS, there was some that someone back there loves to over fry the food. All of our sweet potatoes fries were burnt and had the taste of just used oil, it had no meat. The one that made us upset was the beef empanada, it came out doo doo brown and it was not appetizing. The texture was horrendous, no airy crisps to the bread and taste horrible! Even when putting the salsa and sour cream, the freezer burn and over fried cooking oil taste over powered everything. Destiny said that they didn't have empanadas ready and weren't expecting to serve a great amount... Whoever is in the kitchen then should prep and be mindful that a kitchen is a live operation... Gordan Ramsey would never. It was horrific and my friend still paid because she didn't want to complain, we ordered 8 plates of those and 4 were left over. Basically, your food could be over fried, inconsistent, served with no passion and over powered with raw oil.

Mojo's was such a vibe. I loved everything about the layout of the place. The atmosphere was obviously very rock and roll but it wasn't overwhelming, it was perfect. The menu made choosing what to eat so difficult because EVERYTHING looked tasty. I went with the Pepin and was so satisfied with my choice. Loved the carnitas and the sweet plantains. I've never been a huge fan of Cuban rice but my sons were and they devoured it with the beans. Our server was great and understanding of our two tired toddlers. I will absolutely be back to try some of the delicious drink offerings!

I found Mojo Grill after doing a google search. I didn't know what to expect but the picture looked good. My server was friendly from the time I walked in. I ordered the blackened red fish with veggies and black beans/rice. My food came out quickly and was steaming hot. Everything was seasoned well but I did request hot sauce to add a little kick. The portion size is good, especially for the price. The hotel I stay at when I'm in the area is less than 10 minutes from Mojo's so I will be back.

    Shrimp tacos and cheese grits

Mojo Grill has gluten free options. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about which items are or could be made GF. The shrimp tacos and cheese grits were delicious. I recommend this restaurant.

The food is delicious! I've been pleased with everything I've had there. One of the coolest atmospheres I've ever seen in a restaurant! A little pricey. The quesadilla was $17. The Hot Mess app is $14. My only complaint is the bathroom. They really need to keep it more clean. It costed a star

Had the Baja Chicken Bowl and my husband has the Crazy Cuban. The bowl had marinated chicken with grilled peppers and onions, served over black beans with rice, mixed greens with salsa - gluten free! I would tecommend.

It's my first time there, I went with my husband, because we wanted to eat something different. The place is very nice and spacious. It is not a noisy place, very good to go with the family. It also has an area for groups. The waitress was very kind. Regarding the food, it arrived on time and hot. I had never tasted such delicious fish tacos, the flavors exploded in my mouth, although a bit spicy, but nothing I couldn't stand. The rice and beans were something else, the flavor was something from another world of how tasty they are. Everything was so delicious that I didn't eat the dish, because it was inedible. As for my husband, he found his food to be tasty, although the pork had some tough pieces. I would like to go back and eat those delicious fish tacos again.

First, this is a great place for a large group of people as far as space. The down side of that is that there didn't seem to be enough servers for our party of 19. Loved the food and drink selection. The decor was homey and fun. The server that did help us was doing the best she could, but the food didn't come out for a while. The dishes that did make it weren't very hot, including the beans and soups. I had a wrap, and it was enough for two meals. Some people got huge bowls of beans & rice , while others had more rice than beans. It wasn't consistent. We had a good time as a group, though, and the noise level was perfect for crowds.

Since I had seafood already, I went with Cuban. The friendly guy at the counter took my order, which was a Cuban sandwich (10 dollars) and mango smoothie (5.50). My sandwich included a side, and I chose the potato salad. I was told there would be a small wait, but was handed the potato salad from the fridge. The potato salad was typical, but delicious with a nice amount of potatoes. The smoothie came before the Cuban sandwich. It almost tasted like mango lassi, but a bit more icy. It tasted natural and flavorful though. The sandwich came 5 minutes later, and it was quite hot in temperature. However, the flavors were missing. The bread was a bit bland, but it was soft. The pork looked to be pressed, but it tasted good. The ham tasted like regular supermarket quality. There weren't many pickles in my sandwich, but I was able to taste the mustard and melted cheese inside. I honestly ate the insides and left quite a bit of bread. There was no atmosphere other than the typical mall food court. There wasn't much of a crowd and the mall looks like it is dying. Even though I didn't care for the Cuban sandwich, the mango smoothie and potato salad was good. Thus, I will round up to 4 stars. Else, it would have been a 3.75 if decimals were allowed in ratings. I would visit and order again, but only the smoothie and it was natural and had various flavors at a reasonable price.

How dare they even call this Cuban food? From what kind of Cuban who sends a Cafe Con Leche with no sugar in it? In my entire life of eating Cuban food mostly in Miami and Key West I never had Cafe Con Leche without sugar! It was burnt tasting and awful - undrinkable. The Carne Guisada (Beef Stew) had no olives, capers or raisins in it - only potatoes, carrots and beef and had barely cooked so the meat was like an old shoe. It was unappetizing chunks of fatty, tough, sinewy meat, unpleasant and salty. Impossible to chew and swallow. The side dishes were an insult to Cubans everywhere - flavorless mojo with boiled yuca and red beans that were mostly watery bean juice and a few red beans. The pork tamale had no flavor and the meat was fatty pork that the cat had difficulty chewing with her fangs. Obviously all the good reviews on Google are fake or people in this ridiculous town have no clue what comprises real Cuban food. It was some of the worst food I've had in this burg and that's going some.

When we walked in, the place was quite busy with diners with most looking like they were enjoying their Cuban breakfast sandwich. My wife and I opted to order the Breakfast Combo #1, which came with eggs, choice of protein, hash browns, Cuban toast and a small cafe con leche. My wife went with sausage and I opted for bacon...this was after the lady behind the counter dissuaded me from ordering combo #2 (guess she's not a fan of the tomato sauce). We also ordered a couple of guava and cheese turnovers for a snack later. Breakfast was OK. Wished the eggs were fluffier but they were fine. The buttery Cuban toast was good and so were the cafe con leche...wished the coffee size was bigger. The biggest disappointment was the bacon, if you can call it that. When I first saw the bacon, I thought it looked odd...and my suspicions were confirmed when I bit into and tasted it. The texture was off and it had no flavor. Perhaps it was turkey bacon or vegetarian bacon, either way I wasn't informed that the bacon would be some weird facsimile of bacon. Surprised the lady behind the counter didn't try to convince me to change my choice of meat. We'll probably go back for breakfast but will definitely avoid ordering that strange bacon. We just ordered water for drinks and were served chips and salsa while we waited for our meals. Service was quick and efficient and we were soon digging into our dishes. The pernil was just OK. While the meat was tender, it lacked flavor. The yellow rice was just OK as well. My wife liked her Cuban sandwich. I tried it and it had decent flavors. While the pernil fell way short of what I've come to expect pernil should be after sampling it at Kinka's in Lutz, we still thought it was worth a return visit. I just won't order the pernil. My take... last weeks beans and rice are getting a full new seasoning bath to cover up the re-cooked, overcooked beans that they serve me this week. Not cool!. Just because the health department allows them to reserve those beans for 10 days straight doesn't mean they should. Server brought me the wrong sandwich, I told her but I let it ride.
