I was really worried and he said the results were surprising because he didn't see supporting evidence for the results. He offered to come back to take more samples without charging us the full amount - just for the additional samples which are a reasonable price. The second testing showed that the mold levels were a false positive. We had been redoing the roof and some of the moldy material had made its way into the home through open windows for the test. He gave us a clear report and then when the tarp covering our roof leaked and we had water intrusion, he came back after the water remediation company had finished to check for mold a third time. He's very professional, thorough, and just a really nice guy when you are freaking out whether there might be mold. Highly recommend! Also helps he only does the testing and not remediation so there is no reason for him to give any false positive readings.

Everyone was patient in answering my many questions and scheduled our moisture and mold inspection promptly. Our inspector, Elizabeth, arrived exactly on time, immediately put us at ease, explained everything clearly, and investigated and documented the situation with exceptional attention to detail. Because we were especially worried about our child with asthma being exposed to mold, she even called us the next day with the preliminary results before the full written report was ready. The final report was clear, comprehensive, well documented, and easy to understand. Crew of 4 arrived on time and were efficient with set up, removal, and clean up over 2 days. The service I got was priced well compared to several others in the East Bay which was important for me. Communication with Dan was smooth and easy, and I appreciated that he walked me through the process and answered all my questions. It gave me piece of mind that things were done professionally, safely, and properly for both myself and their team's health. Note: it takes ~10 days to get the air district permit unless you pay extra for expedited service, so that the minimum wait time before abatement can start. Keep that in mind for scheduling purposes

After describing the job, I was given a verbal quote of roughly how much it would cost. Of the 4 quotes, one was several thousand higher than the other 3. Eisen's verbal quote was in the same ballpark as the others. Only downside is that they are scheduled 1.5 months out and very busy.

Stay away from this company…read more They secretly worked with my public adjuster behind my back and billed my insurance policy an outrageous $5,000 for an asbestos test -- all without my knowledge, authorization, or a signed contract. They even went directly to my insurance adjuster to request payment, bypassing me entirely. To make matters worse, their so-called $5,000 report is only valid for 60 days. If you don't complete the abatement work within that time, they charge you again -- even though all they do is reprint the same report with a new date. No new testing. No new work. Just another charge. When I filed a small claims case against them, they refused to accept the delivery of the court documents by not opening the door for the serving man, dodging service attempts by not answering the door. It was clear they were trying to avoid accountability. I had to find alternative ways to serve them because they simply would not cooperate. Attached is the invoice they charged against my insurance policy. I have also reported them to the California Department of Insurance and is pursuing them through small claims court. I will update this review with the outcome once the case is resolved. If you value transparency and honest business practices, please stay away from this company. Learn from my experience.
