I highly recommend these guys. I was flooded by Hurricane Harvey and I kept hearing about expensive and difficult mold testing was that I was a bit discouraged to even go through the process. I was then referred to this company and I am so glad I was. The process started with a call into them where I talked to Magan. She first said that it would be a couple of weeks but when I shared my concerns about timing, she called me back with an appointment for a couple days later and really took me from stressed about timing to getting things moving quickly. Tracy Griffin was the inspector that came out and he was great. He was really thorough and explained all the different steps that he was going through. I asked a lot of questions and probably made the inspection more complicated than it needed to be but he was very patient and help me figure out how the mold inspection process worked and what to do moving forward. In the process of selling our house we discovered that we had a leaky roof that had led to mold issues. We used Mold inspection Sciences for assessment and they went above and beyond to make sure they could get an assessor in as fast as possible. They got the assessor in the next day and we were able to get same day lab results. They also recommended a fantastic remediation company, Immaculate Restoration, who also worked very fast to resolve the mold situation. Mold Inspection Science also got the assessor in the day after the remediation to give our house clearance. Overall, we had our mold identified and our house cleared of mold within one week! This was fantastic since we really needed to get the issue resolved and house back on the market ASAP. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend others to use this company. After a lot of rain recently, I noticed a large mold growing on the wall near a skylight. Obviously I knew water was coming in, but now I was concerned about water damage as well as mold, not just in that room but the rest of the house as well. They were able to get Phillip out to the house vey quickly, before the wet areas had time to dry out. He did a super thorough job, not just identifying the mold and where to sample, but also trying to track down where the water was coming into the house, behind the walls and baseboards. He explained as was needed and did a thorough sweep of the whole house and identified wet areas I hadn't found yet. He explained which sampling was more critical and explained the difference between the sample types. The sampling itself was very rapid and I received my report in a very timely manner via email. I called Mold Inspection Sciences to arrange for a mold inspection for a house I put an offer. Eddie Brown - the technician who did the inspection was amazing. I explained to him how important the mold inspection is to me. He did thorough inspection. He was so knowledgeable and helpful and understand how I feel about the problem. I end up not buying the house who inspected. Then I put an offer for another house and I insisted to have the same person. I was so amazed how he did thorough inspection.
