I'm not a frequent yelper and rarely write reviews, but I unfortunately had to call these guys twice within the 2 years I moved into my new home and I wanted to share my amazing experience with the community. The first time I had to call them, I had a very slow leak in my basement from a faucet on the first floor that I hadn't noticed for weeks. I noticed mold on one of my walls and wooden desks and the more I looked around I noticed it was everywhere! I was frightened as a new homeowner, especially since my wife and I were complaining of headaches all the time. I called these guys and the owner of the company, Dov came down to my house to assess. He told me it wasn't as bad as it looked and he began to walk me through my whole basement showing me all the problem areas. He was very upfront and honest with me; he told me that it would cost for him to send his guys down, but if I was willing to put in the time and energy that I could get it done myself. I told him I'd do it myself and he instructed me exactly what to do! I was really impressed, he could have taken me for a ride. I was thinking about reviewing him back then but never got around to it. Last night, I came home to over an inch of water on my basement floor in my laundry room and drenched carpets all throughout roughly the 10-15 feet of surrounding area. My washer drain hose had disconnected and I had dirty water all over the floors! I didn't know what to do because it was late at night and I knew it had to be taken care of right away. I remembered my experience with Mold Pro and decided to give them a call even though this was not mold. Turns out these guys do everything, they even do carpet cleaning as well. The guy was at my place within 2 hours with this tremendous professional grade wet-vac, nothing like I've ever seen before and he vacuumed the whole area and got rid of all the water. He left 5 professional grade fans running in my basement along with a huge professional dehumidifier, all downstairs running as I type. I went down there an hour ago, less than 24 hours after he left and the carpet is completely dry! He still wants to leave everything running for one more day. He says "do it once and do it right" and told me he'd come by for everything tomorrow. I have never been so satisfied with a home service before, and I've had a lot of different people come in for different things. These guys understand the idea of integrity and customer satisfaction. They will succeed and do not even need this review. I watched the guy hose down his wet vac after my job so that it stays clean in good condition. Dov and team did a great job in remediating my 60+ sq feet mold problem. They are qualified --yes, they are licensed by the Dept of Labor Mold Program!! I checked :) , professional, careful, and thorough. They finished the job and I have the test results to prove it! I had quite a bit of anxiety about the mold issue... Dov was patient and answered all my questions promptly, explained his plan clearly (!!), and went above and beyond. He also sent me photos to update me on the work progress. The price falls in the middle range of what the mold companies in NYC charge. I received quotes from four other companies, some were fishy and had very low prices... some were very high.. and Mold Pro was basically Goldilocks perfect. Another plus is that they were able to fully satisfy my building's high insurance requirements. Bottom line: honest, efficient company- true professionals, and thorough (!!!) mold remediation work. Dov and his Mold Pro team did an excellent job from the moment I picked up the phone. I had a confirmed appointment within 24 hours while other companies wanted over a week. With a new baby at home waiting was not an option. Mold Pro took my basement from 2 feet of standing water to bone dry and disinfected within three days. Dov had experience with insurance companies and knew what the appropriate amount of equipment was so I wouldn't have a problem with my claim. They contacted my insurance adjuster and got the OK before they even arrived. Dov and his team was always on time to work and promptly picked up their equipment when the job was finished. These people are amazing It seems the Mold Remediation business attracts their share of snake oil salesmen. I Interviewed several companies before I selected Mold Pro. The guy was professional and knowledgeable, He answered my questions thoughtfully, without rushing or changing the subject . He explained me the basics of mold and water removal until I knew he was the right man. The job was just a couple of days but the results were unbelievable, it was truly like our pipe never froze like our basement was never flooded like our walls never saw mold. Mold Pro was truly amazing! We bought a new house and found mold in the basement. We had one other person look at the issue and they gave a really high price and wanted to charge just for sending the mold to a lab.
