I moved here right before those fun mask days. And I am not talking about dressing up as your favorite super hero although, I wish I were. A lot of people were angry. I'd go to Mollie's to get something to eat and outside was Linda I could tell she was always happy because her eyes smile like nothing you've ever seen before. Instantly I felt good and happy and safe. It was your first impression before you walked into the store. Best greeting ever you could have. And I might add good for business. Happy people buy more. Finally people could see who you were again. Linda was brought inside and started working at the deli. She loves it. She's always happy and I watch people ask for her to help them. When I don't see her I ask around to try and find her so she can help me. All I can say is Linda makes you feel like you matter and she cares about what she does. The people love her and I watch them leave happy after she has helped them. Super glad she works here because she is all heart and you can feel it. I wish more people were like Linda. Alex, Alexander will follow you out if you don't purchase anything, he will walk out and start taking pictures of you and your car and accuse you of theft. Accused me of theft and can't even say what I supposedly took.Then say he will trespass you for not purchasing anything. If you've read any of the comments you will then see they obviously have shi**y employees, especially the managers. Take your complaints to corporate, the managers don't care they are the issue. Just came here to do a CRV refund and the Filipino cashier tried to turn me away saying the bottles I brought was not CRV eligible despite having in bold, large letters CRV CA right on there. I even showed it to her but she continued to argue. I asked her to ask her manager and she told me to stand to the side and proceeded to help the next customer....??? Note there are other cashiers working. She was not the only one open. She turns to ask the person behind her who I guess is a supervisor and he points to this placard right in front of her that says they accept CRV bottles for refunds. She finishes helping the customer and seems about to help the next one in line so I asked if she will help me now that she knows. She immediately snaps at me with barely concealed irritation that she needed to ask her manager and I replied calmly I was checking in since she did not address me after she asked her manager right in front of me. Even the supervisor turns and looks at her briefly. Incredibly rude and ignorant, learn to humble yourself when you don't know things and improve your customer service skill. If you can't handle being asked a question because of your poor communication, consider another work position, like a shelf stocker. read more

Mollie Stone's offers natural, organic goods and prides themselves in selling high quality products purchased locally. With all that being said, it was a no brainer for my gf to hit them up and place a few party tray orders since she was hosting an intimate gathering. The spread included: orange & feta salad assorted cheese board assorted fruit platter assortment of wraps Everything was plated beautifully, everyone appreciated the cheese platter being clearly labeled, and the food was definitely fresh. Everyone ooh'd and aaahhh'd over every item. Kudos to the hostess with the mostest & thank you MS for coming through with some amazing eats. I find Mollie Stone's stuff expensive as hell but it is nice to window shop here. I mean anything here is about 3X the price at Safeway or Lucky but they have better quality. I come here pretty frequently for the hot bar or sandwiches, as my office is right across the street. As noted in some other reviews, this place is pricey like Wholefoods, but sometimes you get what you pay for. It's clean, and the employees have been nothing but friendly. I'll usually hit up the hot bar if I'm having a hectic day and need something fast. It's nice, convenient, and their menu changes everyday. Their Tikki Masala chicken, cabbage wraps, or taco's are usually what I'll get, but the questionable looking Chinese food isn't too shabby. Sandwiches are very good, but can be bit of a wait. I'd recommend the Tri-tip sandwich. read more

I had such a horrible experience in this store today! I was looking for Amy's beans and one of the employees couldn't find the refried beans, so I asked a customer and she took me right to the refried beans, which is in a different section from the other beans, which is fine, but just to get beans! The time it took...ugh. Then I went to pay for the beans (and my other groceries) and the assistant manager told me the employee should have found another employee to help me. How inefficient. Then he charged me too much. I told him the beans were on sale (the principle of the matter) and he didn't believe me so we walked over to the beans and he found I was right. Now I was mad, but still, very polite as I was taught to be. I told him however that Safeway would have given me the beans for free. He says to me, "You have to work a lot harder around here to get something for free." He actually said that to me. I'm doing just fine so I dont care about the price--what I care about is being treated so poorly. I will never ever shop at Mollie Stones again. They do charge a lot more than most, the customer service is terrible and their managers do not know how to treat customers or do their job properly, in my opinion. read more

Mark was a great manager ! Too bad that he is retired now but good for him. He was so helpful and friendly and is greatly missed. The new manager,Michael, not so much ,so far at least. He hardly ever smiles , at least not what I have seen. And Mark never charged me for bags . I come in almost every day. But all cashiers must have been talked to and now there is a paper bag charge of $ .25 and if you need 2 it is .50 . That is just way too much ! And if you bring your own bag , you have to bag it yourself . I like Mollie Stones but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This Mollie Stone's isn't just overpriced but it has the worst customer service I have come across in all of my life. Not only are the employees rude but so is the management. Perhaps it makes sense that management would hire employees of their same caliber. To be specific, I'm going to name the employee I had the unfortunate opportunity to have come across. The employee that I engaged in a conversation with is called J, J is a very angry and rude person who clearly hates his job yet thinks he is above everyone. They were the one that answered to a complaint I had about a defective product I purchased from this location. I was at all times calm and kind about the situation at hand but J clearly decided to be rude and condescending for no reason at all. What happened to giving outstanding customer service Mr. J? Do they not train their employees at all anymore here? The least you could do is pretend at this point and be kind and courteous to the customer. It's really shameful that Mollie Stone's hires employees like J. It truly says a lot about this company, they just don't care about you or what you have to say! Oh, but they will gladly take all your money! J literally told me he had better things to do than to listen to what I had to say and practically didn't believe me nor was sympathetic about the problem I was having with a product. When I confronted J about his attitude and asked why he was being rude to me, he scoffed and denied the allegations. He basically had no problem gaslighting a customer and continue his awful mistreatment. I feel sorry for you Mr. J, I hope you don't have to experience unnecessary mistreatment like you did to me today. I also hope you actually find a job you like and learn proper customer service and to be a kind human being. To add to the matter, the manager, Fernando, is a piece of work too. Don't even bother talking to the manager cause he is also rude and of no help. They don't care about you as a customer here so I'd be careful if you come across these individuals! I hope YOU who is reading this review doesn't get to experience what I did, look out for these two. Who really knows, in the end maybe they can check their selves and improve their awful customer service.. or the least they could do is pretend. Terrible customer service. I had to ask three different people where their minced garlic was. I finally asked a person in produce if they had garlic. They simply replied with "yes". I can't believe I had to follow up with "where is it?" That's like rule #1 of customer service. Show someone where the item is that they're asking for. He followed up with "it's where the garlic is." Okay...where's the garlic? And finally he points down an isle and says "do you see where those jars are?" Wow. Practically speechless after that and I can tell this place doesn't care about it's customers. It's about a half star away from losing all it's customers. Before this last experience I had with J at checkout, I'd have given them a much higher rating. I'm a vet tech and I can say that I literally treat dog shit with more respect than he AND the store manager Fernando treated me. The weird part was J seemed real friendly with the person in front of me in line. It seems a little prejudice there J, hope that's not the case. I was told by an employee to come back and return an item I had purchased, when I get there after spending time and gas, J rudely and condescendingly tells me that he's not taking it back, and then Fernando comes and doesn't help at all. Not sure wtf your guys deal is with me, but that was a pretty shitty way to treat someone. You guys for sure lost another customer permanently.
