My vanity table and dressers has some jewelry and things on the surface, and while I didn't expect them to organize them completely, it was just thrown together. Now some of my jewelry is tangled. And if this is part of the process, I get it, but I didn't expect to have to do work after a cleaning. I also had a very expensive neon sign that was broken and a mysterious stain left on my wall that wasn't there before. The cleaners needed more time, which I granted, but I am not happy with some of the mistakes made. I have contacted the company and sent them pictures. We will see if they reimburse me for the broken items and the stain and if they make this right. Will update once an arrangement is made to remedy this.

I tried Maid Brigade for the first time since the professional cleaning service I occasionally use is going through some restructuring. When I called to schedule initial cleaning service for my 2,100 square feet house, Alexis quoted me $318 for 3 maids. Later, I received a call from Rick. He said having 3 maids for 2 1/2 hours helps the service move along quicker. My concern was 2 1/2 hours wouldn't be long enough. I'm use to paying between $210 - $240 for two maids at 3 1/2 hours at another well known professional cleaning service. One maid upstairs and another downstairs. Jobs were very well done with 2 maids for 3 1/2 hours (if needed) for no more than $240. While service was going on, I received a call asking if I wanted to extend the time for another 20 - 30 minutes, so they can complete the job. I was completely shocked by this request. For one, they reduced my time from 2 1/2 hours to 2 hours. I was cheated out of 30 minutes. Honestly, I did not feel like discussing it further, so I said no. I also needed to hop on a conference call for work. At that point, I just wanted to pay the nice ladies their tips and send them on to their next service. After they left and I walked through the house, I noticed that the toilet in the master bathroom wasn't cleaned. Blinds throughout the house weren't dusted. Hardwood floors in kitchen and entrance area weren't swept or mopped. Office area wasn't vacuumed. Visible baseboards were not touched... not dusted. The kitchen sink wasn't cleaned. Not one drop of soap was used. In order for the ladies to finish, I would have needed to pay Maid Brigade more than $318 + tips for my 2,100 square feet house that's in good condition (because I maintain it). I'm the only person who's lived in my house. Only one resident and no pets reside here. Usually there is a nice fresh scent after the cleaning jobs. Not with Maid Brigade. It could be due to the green products they use, so I won't complain about that. They also don't use any polish or solution to clean dust off the furniture, so dust falls back on the furniture pretty quickly. I'm giving Maid Brigade 2 stars simply because the ladies showed up and did some work. Otherwise, I would give Maid Brigade 1 Star for being a rip off. They are way too expensive for the little value they bring. Terrible service for $318 + tips. I was cheated 30 minutes of cleaning service. Will never use them again.

I originally reached out to Citrus Fresh Carpet Cleaning to clean my sectional sofa. The technician came by, inspected my couch and told me he could not perform the work because it is a cotton blend material and water would ruin the fabric. He recommended I reach out to ChemDry. I reached out to ChemDry, explaining my experience with Citrus Fresh and verified that they have the tools to clean this type of material with no water and I was informed by the Office Manager, Solybeth, that they could. The technician arrived early and was very friendly. I explained to him why the other company wouldn't attempt our couch and he assured me it would be fine, but we might not get the stains out. I told him that was fine as long as his methods don't ruin my couch. I left him to his business and when he was done, he said it would look a lot better when it's dry. It's been a couple of weeks and my couch cushions are ruined. He used water which he should not have used. The original stains are hardly visible, but the cushion color completely changed from cream to black/green. I have included photos. The small cushions dried to normal color and you can see the large cushions did not. I will say, someone from Chem-Dry tried to call me once after I emailed them. I returned the call, but did not receive any calls back. As I mentioned to them in my email, I'm not sharing this information looking for a refund. The damage is done and the $200 is nothing compared to the cost of replacing my couch. I simply want to share with them so they can learn from it and share with others who may be looking for upholstery services so they can make their own conclusions.
