Ordered thru Door Dash. Wanted Thai food and they are close . Used to be called Tom Yum years ago. But last night was HORRIBLE. I ordered Pad Thai, Summer Rolls and Crab Wontons. Crab Wontons were pretty standard. Hard to mess those up. Pad Thai was fair. Not much in it besides noodles and chicken. Leftovers for lunch today was not good. But the worst was the Summer Rolls. They didn't look anything like the photo on menu with 4 cute little rolls. Instead it's 2 gigantic rolls the size of large cucumbers! They were wrapped in plastic wrap. I removed wrap to find the rice paper which is supposed to wrap up the rolls. It was VERY thin and was gooey and stretchy like glue! I couldn't even eat it! Yuck! I dug out the chicken and ate that. Called the restaurant to tell them and the guy just wanted to argue with me and say that's the way they come. Didn't offer to refund me or make it good! I'll never order from them again! This was pretty great! I was in the area and decided to stop by for a late dinner. I called in my order and it was simple, and by the time I arrived 10 minutes later, my food was ready. It's located in a strip mall, and i found it easily. I accidentally forgot my mask walking in but quickly covered my nose and mouth with my scarf. The gentleman at the front was friendly and I appreciated my order being ready quickly. I got it home and it was both spicy (level hot) and hot temperature. Was looking forward to trying this place from the good reviews. I won't be back despite it being close to my new home. The worst panang curry I've ever had. It was so watery and lacked much flavor. The summer rolls had full leaves of romaine, with hardly any herbs. They're huge, but the entire thing is mostly lettuce. The peanut sauce to dip them in was the worst version of peanut sauce I've ever had. It tasted like they added 3x as much sugar as they were supposed to and was like gelatin. read more

#9 fo 2020 We were in the mood for spicy tonight. After searching Yelp I found this to be interesting. Lots of parking available but there wasn't a table to seat us immediately. Wait was not that long. Staff was all over the floor but they still stop recognized us asking number in our party and that it shouldn't be that long till we would be seated. That gave a chance to look over the menu. Crying tiger beef salad, drunken noodles and vegetable curry. All were Thai hot to the last drop. Needed lots of white sticky rice. No problem here, no charge on the rice, all you can eat. Need to remember byob, beer and wine only. Glasses of Thai tea were more generous than other places too. Food is good but slightly different from the ones closer to authentic. Staff constantly checked in on us asking if we were ok and did we have enough. We had a wonderful time here. There was no rush to kick us out after the doors closed for the evening. Ready to go back for more. read more

Located in a strip mall, doesn't look like much when you are sandwiched between an Irish Pub and a weed shop other than these people have food taste when they have the munchies. Had this bookmarked but stumbled here after another local eatery was too busy and one closed. Molly's Thai is definitely authentic...call me biased but I am a big fan and a good source, being Thai. Not to mention, three visits in a week justifies a valid food critic right?!?!! With that said though, this isn't fancy, just consistent good food. It's always busy with pick up orders or take out. Hands down the best summer shrimp rolls. Fresh and with the right ingredients like mint leaves. The peanut sauce is probably one of the best versions out there. The veggie rolls are good but doesn't satisfy my craving without meat like pork or chicken. But flaky and yummy. My go to is always Panang or Red Curry since I like spice. The pumpkin curry is really good too but some may prefer their pumpkin cut down in cubes rather than slices. My only suggestion is to maybe flash fry the chicken and this would knock it out of the park. My boyfriend prefers the drunken noodles or broccoli delight with tofu and veggies. Service is typical of a busy popular spot with regulars. Molly's husband Brock is the greeter, usually overwhelmed and running ragged. The server/bus girl, and probably line cook, is comedic telling you to level up on spice. Warning, whoever cooks on Sundays, however, takes the spice level up an extra notch. Or maybe because they know I am ordering but even Thai Hot was a bit much for me third time around. Overall this might be my new neighborhood Thai gem. Ordered from here today, is was good! One minor complaint was that it wasn't packaged very well. It looks like they put cardboard in there so it would spill, bug the curry arrived spilling out of the container. Not too much spilled but it was pretty messy. I got the yellow curry with tofu. It was really delicious, the tofu was cooked perfectly! Very flavorful. I got mild but could've handled medium for next time. The steamed veggies were yummy, especially the broccoli. New ownership has been in place about 18 months, and Molly's Tom Yum Thai is humming right along. A valpak coupon notified me of the new name and helped encourage me to come in to try lunch again. Chicken lunch entrees are still around $9, but at least it's 2 years later and they haven't raised the prices again. I ordered the chicken red curry, and companion ordered the broccoli noodle with chicken. Soup was excellent, very hot with vegetables cooked to perfection a little bit of egg drop and some tofu. Mostly cabbage a great flavor nonetheless. Egg roll was greasy and boring inside, but not unlike most other Thai spring rolls. My chicken red curry with delicious, mild to medium spice level actually could have been a little warmer, so they brought me some special hot sauce made on site. It was smoky and deadly and delicious. I like the addition of eggplant to the standard curry contents of green beans, bell peppers and bamboo shoots. Broccoli noodle with chicken was also excellent at a one spice level, just as ordered. Word to the wise, the kitchen is very slow as there is only one cook. And if the owner is not able to be there cooking, the restaurant will be closed. read more

We live locally and are very lucky to enjoy Molly's delicious Thai food weekly, for the past few years. Everything on the menu is amazing and just like eating in Thailand! I'm vegan and almost all the dishes can be made that way as you pick your own protein; they have tofu and mock chicken. I love the pumpkin curry, massaman curry, and eggplant thai basil. My husband usually orders seafood in yellow curry, but really everything is great. Don't forget dessert! Pumpkin Curry: It has a lot of flavor and heat. The flavor mix is incredible. It has a sweet taste to it as well. I can taste the basil and the peppers but it's not so much that you can't taste everything else. Grade: A Princess Duck: The sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The duck was smartly shredded into smaller pieces so it can be cooked quickly and not overcook everything else. Grade: A Chicken Chow Mein: We got this without the bean sprouts. It was a home run. We divided up the plate between the kids and the rest of us sampled it as well. It has an unexpected sweetness that none of us have ever had. The egg noodles were a brilliant choice. Grade: A House Fried Rice: We had this with veggies. We didn't expect the robust flavor. Rice can be a bland ordeal but this was a family fav. Grade: A Mixed Seafood Hot & Sour Soup: All of the flavors was infused into the seafood. It's was so good. Grade: A Noodle Soup with Beef Stew: Just be aware. The bowl for the soup is bigger than your head. The type of noodles were a great choice. The temperature of the broth was perfect and the spice level was perfect. This hidden gem is a must! The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are large. I have decided this is my new favorite place to grab the best yellow curry! I'm very picky about curry and chicken (I hate old chicken) but this was tender and full of flavor,the vegetables, Amazing. The curry, amazing. I think they only use the best ingredients, fresh ingredients that are perfection. I know this because I asked about the mango sticky rice but the mangos weren't good enough to serve and I 100% respect that commitment to the integrity of ingredients. I'm obsessed with the egg rolls, I could eat 100 of them, delicious! I can't wait to go there again. It is so good I can't gate keep this place. Great Thai food. Service is a bit iffy since they might be short handed, but no one is ever rude. Value and quality of food is fantastic. Place is nice and clean and they care about keeping it clean. Just note that they may not be open certain days since it's just the owners and they needs a break every now and then. They used to be open all day and shut down between 3-4 PM. But I think lately they're just open a couple days a week, but the search says that they're open all day for takeout or delivery. I do hope that they survive. Tom Kha soup with chicken is absolutely fantastic and their red curry is absolutely tasty. Also Pad Thai Chicken is the best I've tasted in Phoenix. read more

There's a lot to like about this place. It's a local, family owned Thai restaurant tan by a husband and wife. The wife is always in the kitchen and the husband works the front desk and waits tables. Because of this I've come back a few times in hopes that the food was better, but every time I'm disappointed. I never see more than the wife and occasionally one other cook there, and this place is always busy. The food is rushed and inconsistent. Often times the rice is dry and tastes old. Everything is so SWEET. The curry, the pad Thai, etc. it's odd. I think I've given this place my last shot ( especially when I spend 19$ on red curry and tea and I don't even want to eat it ). Worth a try but if you're like me and love Thai, there are better places in the valley. If you want to support a small restaurant this might be a good place for you. read more

Ordered via Yelp app one night after work. It notified me that it would be a 45-60 minute wait. I was disappointed but figured that it was an overestimation. Nice, clean restaurant. I wouldn't say it had ambience but it was attractive in a minimalistic way. Went there on a Saturday for lunch and it wasn't very busy. Didn't have to wait at all for service or food. We asked the host/waiter/owner (?) what their best dishes were, and we ordered two of his three suggestions. Drunken noodles with beef didn't look appetizing but were really good, and the yellow curry with mock chicken looked, smelled, and tasted great. Thai iced tea was tasty too. I am so glad we found this little place. Seating is limited and it tends to get busy but it's worth the wait. Start off with the veggie rolls which are crisp and flavorful. We had tried the crispy tofu on a previous visit which was ok but the veggie rolls were the star of the appetizers. I've ordered the orange chicken both times I have been here and it is delicious each time. The serving size is massive so there is plenty to share and still take some home. My husband is a fan of their curries but tried the chicken in peanut sauce last night and it was delicious. He opted for a 3 on the heat level and it was just right. I was even able to try it and enjoy it. All entrees also come with rice on the side. Two entrees and an appetizer was only around $30 before tip.
