Sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. You can also ask for bacon instead of sausage.
    Alejandra C.

We came here because my sister saw a recommended bakery nearby. When we arrived we were delighted with so much more! We had sausage and bacon breakfast sandwiches and a special sandwich for my mom. There are no words for how delicious they were and with farm fresh eggs. The strawberry lemonade was the best I had, the orange juice was so fresh. We ended up ordering more to go. Our host was so amazing and kind to take such a huge order from our family of 9. Her patience and her ability to maintain a welcoming presence went above and beyond. To just top off this delightful breakfast we had an amazing rhubarb cobbler was a 15 out of 10. We will definitely be stopping by again when come back. Highly recommended!! Thank you so much, you definitely made our travel back home so much better.

What a joy Momma Peg is! A wonderful and unexpected find en route to Yosemite.

Delightful experience. The food was fabulous. Pegg was a wonderful host and the location was beautiful. If you are in the area this is a must!

Hands down the beast meatloaf sandwich I have ever had. Pet friendly and the owner Pegg is the nicest person around. She even made my little dude Odie a breakfast sandwich. Cash only, no ATM so try to bring cash.

    Really nice set up.

So great! We were passing through on our way to Yosemite and pulled in for lunch. We both had turkey sandwiches, loaded with avocado and other yumminess. Peg was so friendly and helpful, and took some time to get to know us and to tell us about herself. She even have us a complimentary pastry, which was super delicious. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through.

Large positions and great daily specials.

Tried the loaded baked potato, chicken tortilla, clam chowder, and a grilled cheese sandwich. The soups were great - no complaints. My least favorite was the clam chowder, it was a bit peppery for my liking but still good. They're not the best I've ever had, but super satisfying and I'll definitely be back to try more! The grilled cheese was the surprise winner of it all. Cheddar on sourdough - simple but amongst the best I've ever had. It didn't need all the extra fancy stuff, I liked it simple. Nice strong cheddar flavor on a yummy bread :). Prices were reasonable considering inflation . $5.75 I think for a cup, $10.50 for a bowl and $13.50 for a bread bowl. I should've asked the price of the flight because I definitely want to try that. The bread bowl filled me up for lunch, but idk that the soup alone would have. Location is inside Glazed and Confused donuts, to the left of CVS. It's a bit hidden - a true hidden gem. Service was good. Order at the counter. We got the food to-go, but there are about four 4-person tables inside to eat at. They also have an arcade type game and small kids area with some random play stuff and books.

I ordered a bowl of the Chicken & Dumplings, and my wife had the Vegetable Beef & Barley. We also ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. My Chicken & Dumpling was a thick creamy soup with chunks of chicken and dumplings that had great flavor. It was very filling. My wife raved about her Beef & Barley. The grilled cheese sandwich was awesome and a great compliment to the meal. We will definitely be going back to try some other flavors. I see that they have added a selection of fries....gotta try the poutine....hopefully, they serve it old school without battering/deep frying the curds. Would definitely return and recommend.

In reality, there are/were only two: the original location (and now closed since 2024) in Buellton and this location in Santa Nella. It turned out that we needed to take a break and gas up around lunchtime very close by, so decided to stop in for lunch. It ended up being OK. This second location has been open since 1976 and is located in a huge building with tons of seating and a large retail space. It has a separate downstairs dining room (available if your party is large), a large bar in the back (open during lunch though only one person was in there), and an upstairs not accessible during lunchtime. We came at exactly 11:00 and they had begun serving lunch. We were led to our seats, and someone came by with water. There seemed to be some confusion on who was supposed to serve us, and we were ignored for a while, even as other folks were being seated. Finally, a waitress came back (guessing she wasn't our original one, but had to pivot) and took our order. Not particularly friendly in the beginning (ended up being talkative at the end as my wife had struck up a conversation), but got our order correct. The food came out soon after, and it was served all together and was still warm when we got them. My wife and I have been to the Andersen's in Buellton and had slightly different memories of how good the split pea soup was. We ordered a cup ($6.99), and didn't even have to tell the waitress what kind of soup we wanted. The soup was good for the first couple spoonful, but didn't end up finishing it; glad we ordered a small cup. My wife and her mom split a Teriyaki Chicken dinner ($21.50) and they liked it: nothing fancy, just one chicken breast grilled and topped with bottled teriyaki sauce and a pineapple slice. I got the Danish Style Meatloaf ($21.99, was planning to share with my wife) and it seemed well made with generous portions, but neither of us liked it (the pork/beef mixture with breadcrumbs was very finely ground and reminded me of a mealy German sausage without the casing). Both the soup and meatloaf would have been good as small samples from a buffet while grazing, but are difficult as a main course for our taste. Both plates came with a from-frozen vegetable medley (broccoli, carrots, and zucchini), along with a rice pilaf for the chicken plate. We did buy some trinkets at the gift shop. I wanted to get a Danish, but ended up sharing a Cinnamon Crisp, a giant cookie covered in cinnamon sugar. It was really good, definitely worth the $5.50 price.

We were in town for wine tasting and hadn't had Thai food in a while, so we decided to stop by. What can I say...? Same great iced Thai coffee, deliciously fresh spring rolls, and the green curry couldn't have been better. We didn't see too many veggie dishes on the menu, yet at my wife's request, the kitchen made her fresh green beans in a garlic sauce. Thats right - fresh crisp green beans with plenty of "crunch" in a velvety garlic sauce. The prices are very reasonable considering today's crazy economy and we took food home! This is a family run business and the care and attention to customers is worth giving Thai Kitchen your support. We understand that they will be moving soon (just two storefronts away from the current location) and will have more room for more clientele. Judy and Sonny are very welcoming and personable. We wish them great success in the new location and we can't wait to be back to check it out!!!
