Sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. You can also ask for bacon instead of sausage.

We came here because my sister saw a recommended bakery nearby. When we arrived we were delighted with so much more! We had sausage and bacon breakfast sandwiches and a special sandwich for my mom. There are no words for how delicious they were and with farm fresh eggs. The strawberry lemonade was the best I had, the orange juice was so fresh. We ended up ordering more to go. Our host was so amazing and kind to take such a huge order from our family of 9. Her patience and her ability to maintain a welcoming presence went above and beyond. To just top off this delightful breakfast we had an amazing rhubarb cobbler was a 15 out of 10. We will definitely be stopping by again when come back. Highly recommended!! Thank you so much, you definitely made our travel back home so much better.

What a joy Momma Peg is! A wonderful and unexpected find en route to Yosemite.

Delightful experience. The food was fabulous. Pegg was a wonderful host and the location was beautiful. If you are in the area this is a must!

Hands down the beast meatloaf sandwich I have ever had. Pet friendly and the owner Pegg is the nicest person around. She even made my little dude Odie a breakfast sandwich. Cash only, no ATM so try to bring cash.

    Really nice set up.

So great! We were passing through on our way to Yosemite and pulled in for lunch. We both had turkey sandwiches, loaded with avocado and other yumminess. Peg was so friendly and helpful, and took some time to get to know us and to tell us about herself. She even have us a complimentary pastry, which was super delicious. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through.

Large positions and great daily specials.

For each catered order, I selected the 6" (regular) lunchbox option. The meal came with a sandwich, chips, and a drink. The sandwiches were typically customized with sourdough bread, mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, with meat options of either Ham, Salami, Turkey, and/or Veggie. The assortment of chips was by Miss Vickie's and the options for the bottled drinks were water bottles, sweet/unsweetened teas, diet soda, regular soda, etc. Each lunchbox was crafted and prepared to perfection. The sandwiches were extremely good, as the ingredients were delicious and fresh. For the April & May orders (group meetings of 10 people each), the pickup time was completed on time as anticipated. Unfortunately for the recent June order (group meeting of 27 people), I requested the pick up time @10:45AM. I had to wait an additional 35 minutes for it to be ready. This result caused me to arrive at my business meeting much later than anticipated. It was almost a good thing that I put 10:45am, because had I put a later time, I could have been super late. To me, perhaps this location doesn't have the capacity to make big orders scheduled on time. I will consider coming back for catered orders for a group of 10 or less. Anything over that, I will find another restaurant that will provide larger orders on time for pickup.

The sourdough is really delicious and I will be back to try some of their other items.

The empanadas were much larger than I thought - bigger than my hand! So two of them was a bit too much to eat, while one would be a light meal. I got one with a tomato basil cheese filling and one with an onion and chard filling - so different but each delicious! Washed down with an ice cold glass of jasmine green tea to beat the heat. My friends reported that the chicken sandwich had the freshest chicken breast they've ever had - cooked to order by the friendliest cook! We had stopped by the highway, where the view of lush greenery and rolling hills was nice. I approve! It was nice to sit on the patio watching the passing cars, and the tarp above us provided pleasant shade from the sun. My daughter and I shared the Biscuits and Gravy with scrambled eggs and sausages. The homemade biscuits were buttery and flaky--absolutely delicious. My partner and her daughter shared either a skillet or an omelet; I don't quite remember since I didn't take a picture. Regardless, we were all satisfied with our meals and ready to continue our adventure. The service was friendly and efficient. I didn't even get to check out inside the restaurant. Was there an inside? A quick tip: you'll need a key to access the restrooms. I noticed several people walk over only to discover the door was locked, so I made sure to ask for the key. According to their website, this place has a fascinating history--it once served as a miner's supply store before becoming a hotel. I believe there are still rooms available, as I noticed you can reserve cabins with twin and queen beds. While I might not stay in a cabin myself, I would definitely return for the food.
