One concern I have is the recent charges for sauces on takeout orders. When dining in, sauces are provided at no additional cost, but for takeout there is now a charge for items like chili oil and even extra Sriracha packets. I understand that restaurants have costs to manage, and I'm not trying to be petty or rude. However, charging $1 for two Sriracha packets feels excessive to me. I would encourage you to reconsider these charges, or perhaps only apply them when a customer requests an unusually large amount of sauce. Small requests for condiments seem like a reasonable part of a takeout order, especially for customers who regularly support your business. I appreciate your time and hope you'll consider this feedback from a loyal customer.

We really enjoyed the Gouda with Fenugreek ($8.47 for a wedge). They can also make a grilled cheese sandwich ($4.50) and a cup of soup ($4.00). We got several kinds of their delicious cheese and consumed it over the next many days of our trip. We live in Los Gatos and were delighted to learn that they sell their cheese at the Sunday Farmers' Market in Mountain View. So after returning home, we phoned them a few days before a Sunday with our order to pick up at the Mountain View Farmers' Market . The advance order is advisable since at the market it is first-come-first-served and you favorites may sell out before you get to their booth. When we got to the Farmers' Market around noon and picked up our order, we were told that it was good that we pre-ordered since several of the cheeses we ordered were already sold out (except for our reserved order).

They gave us settings for three, including for the soup without having to be asked. Both the Hubbs and the babes had fun with the Pupu platter. I was more tired than hungry, but ended up enjoying the food. It had that old school greasy spoon American Chinese flavor that I've been missing. The food isn't fancy, but it's plentiful and tasty and reminded me of the Chinese restaurants when I was a kid. The Hubbs chose Mongolian beef and we got tons of beef and I chose the honey walnut prawns and they gave us at least 20 prawns. The portion sizes were huge. I was expecting that they had provided food for three but when we got our check, they charged us the dinner for two. We took home the leftovers and there was enough food for two additional meals. Forgot to take additional pictures and the total came out to about $42. I had $60 on me in cash and left that to cover the tab and tip, since they stayed open late for us. 5-Star Review - Sourdough & Co., Oakdale, CA I'll be honest -- I'm not usually a big sandwich person. But Sourdough & Co. totally changed my mind. The sandwich I had was seriously good -- fresh, flavorful, and stacked just right. The bread (of course!) is what really sets it off -- that warm, soft sourdough with the perfect crust makes all the difference. You can tell they care about quality. The ingredients are fresh, everything tastes clean, and nothing feels like it sat around too long. The staff is friendly and fast, and the place has a nice, clean vibe -- whether you're grabbing something quick or sitting down for lunch. I was so upset today. I ordered the Italian sandwich on a gluten free wrap off of door dash. I ordered it cold, with mozzarella cheese, mayo, balsamic, lettuce, and pepperchinis. I received 2 small wraps with no cheese, no mayo, little to no lettuce, just a few pieces of meat and the stems to the pepperchinis still attached. I love Sourdough & Co which is why I am incredibly upset with the quality of food that I got. I only received $5 back when I complained to doordash which doesn't even cover half of the sandwich... Spent lots of money for a mediocre food and bad service. Order was not complete! Check your order BEFORE YOU LEAVE. They should not open if they are not prepared to provide, why make customers wait 40-45 minutes, then not even get the order correct. Lady spent more time doling out cookies to waiting customers than she did making their food. Inexperience staff and quite possible owners. Cannot recommend and not going back. Tried the pizza today, veggie pizza but added meat. The crust was crispy and the cheese tasted very good. We also had the gluten free wrap. Next time I'd get the bigger size so it has more meat.
