This is my favorite sandwich spot in Turlock. The sourdough is soft but crunchy and baked fresh. They have tons of meat options and my sandwich is always fresh and tastes amazing! Terrible quality. The bread was tough, but "fresh baked " like they claim. The ingredients were very sparse. My cheese is clearly the Kraft singles that comes in plastic. Shiny an gooey. Very disappointing. I don't mind paying high prices due to inflation , but the quality is bad and the options are way smaller than portrayed . read more

My lobster role was ok. A little skimpy on lobster but plenty of other ingredients. My husband liked his turkey sandwich, especially the soft bread. A couple of the tables were dirty but otherwise the restaurant was clean. read more

Trust the five star reviews! We came in and asked what was popular. Hands down, the French dip! We ordered two. Why bother sharing when you both want the same thing! The downside is a limited yelp review. Oh well ;) The sourdough was so sour and perfectly toasted. Any sandwich would have been good. My mouth waters typing this. The meat was piled high. The warm au jus came in a little tub. I wish the tub was wider, because the entire sandwich was too big. But anyways, even just a corner dipped was amazing. The store was new and clean. Sandwiches were good but what really makes it is the bread. The bread is so soft and fresh tasting, amazing! Next time I'll definitely be getting a bread bowl instead of a sandwich. I feel that it's a little pricey here, especially if you get the seasonal sandwich. The staff was super friendly, welcoming, and patient, I appreciate that. Wow, I was honestly speechless with our experience there. First of we got there and the cashier/ food preparer took our order. I payed cash so he handled money. I then noticed he walked back to making our order with the SAME GLOVES. I asked him to please change his gloves as he had just handled money, he did it. We waited around 20 min for our order of clam chowder and a tuna melt. (We were the only ones there) I was speechless when they brought the food to us, sandwich had black avocado (we payed extra for avocado) and the cheese wasn't melted, bread was cold. For the clam chowder, the veggies were rock hard. I then Asked for a refund as I was not comfortable eating there. I honestly wanted to ask for the refund as soon as I saw him use the same gloves but I decided to give it a shot since he did change them. Never coming here again, the workers did have some attitude. It took forever and there was not one other person in the place. There was hardly any meat but the sourdough bun was good.

The service given by Noor was horrible. They have beards and they don't wear hair nets so there was a hair in my sandwich. I requested the bread me toasted and they informed me it already was. Just plain rude for no reason. I wasn't given any prompts of what I wanted on the sandwich either. I used to work at a different location so I knew what to say. Not going to lie this was the worst service I have gotten in a long time. It's sad to say. The place was super dirty too. All tables were dirty. read more

Don't live in Turlock, but was driving through on a Sunday drive. The place was immaculate including the restrooms. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The sourdough was great. Not the stuff they pass off as sourdough at most sandwich shops. Had a French Dip, and cup of Clam Chowder. Wife had Hot Pastrami and the Chowder. Chowder was very good, and both sandwiches were great. Pastrami was very flavorful. Roast Beef was as well. Can't wait for them to open the Modesto locations. 1000% better than Panera. read more

My husband and I stopped by on Monday night to try this place out to see how their sourdough bread was. The short answer is that it was delicious and worth the stop! My husband wanted to try the tomato soup in the bread bowl and was so happy and full that he almost finished it all. I ordered the chicken & poblano pepper soup along with a small chicken Caesar salad. Wow! First off, great salad! Best salad with a generous helping of all the toppings with plenty of dressing. The soup was creamy with the tiniest zing for flavor. Extremely mild, but lots of good stuff in it to make it yummy. My favorite part was that they gave me little pieces of sourdough to eat with my soup AND my salad. Delicious carbs live here. We did not order drinks (just got waters) and our meal cost $25. I would happily go there again though and eat this much happier than Panera or McDonald's. The service was very nice and attentive. Restaurant was clean and shiny new. Also, side note that I really liked was the containers the food came in. Easy to pop a to go lid on everything and take your lefties. read more

Good food and good service. My husband and I both ordered the French dip. His with Swiss and mine with mozzarella. Looked like not much meat but it it did the job. I'm in Turlock for work and I have been here multiple times throughout my week. I have never encountered a more welcoming staff than those working at the Turlock location. Food is great, but the service is better. You get a "hello" upon entry and a "thank you" when you leave. Which is actually a little refreshing in our day and age in my opinion as I think the food industry really lacks with the basics. The restaurant is very clean and the staff members take pride in working here. I've been to other west coast locations as well and in my opinion this location is the BEST. In general the food is the same at other places, but the service/cleanliness isn't nearly as consistent. read more

I was so impressed! They were so fast. I went on the 30 minute lunch. I ordered lobster Mac n cheese and tomato bisque soup. Sat down at a table, I was served my meal within a few minutes if ordering, she brought to my table and went and also grabbed napkins. Each item came with 2 pieces of sourdough bread.
