    Mozzarella taiyaki
    Ha T.

They always make the taiyaki fresh, so it's best eaten fresh. This is some of the best taiyaki out there. For those who don't their desserts too sweet, it's just perfect. They don't use regular waffle batter but added some mochi or tapioca flour to it. What you'll get is a crispy outside and a slightly chewy inside. I recommend getting the Bavarian cream or the mozzarella filling, which has a nice melty center served eaten hot. They also have a good selection of pickles and veggies to take home. The kimchi here is pretty tasty. It doesn't have that bitter aftertaste.

This taiyaki place is within Paldo World's supermarket. 3 Taiyakis for $5. I had the red bean, mozzarella and a Bavarian. We ate them over an hour later. Somebody at yelped recommended to reheat it through a toaster to be crispy. I didn't. Yet, I enjoyed these very reasonable taiyakis. The chewy consistency of the dough went well with the filling. Among the 3, I liked the traditional red bean the best then the Bavarian. Mozzarella wasn't bad but forgettable. I will definitely return for my fill of these delightful Korean street food.

    Fresh Taiyaki

So glad I found this place inside the Pal-Do international market. It's fresh made to order Taiyaki with a choice of $5 for 2 with fillings of Nutella, Cream Cheese, Blueberry or Oreos. For $5 for 3, the fillings choice are Red Beans, Bavarian cream, mozzarella cheese or Papa Jack cheese. You would place your order and come back in 5 minutes to your fresh filled fish to munch on. They also sell home made kimchi and other Korean side dishes. My stall rating is for the freshness of my Taiyaki only.

The guy said "when it cools down, using toaster to hit up" holly molly.... so crispy and chewy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love all flavors

I have had this place saved for a long while and my boyfriend had the opportunity to try it out. He…read morehas been raving about this place ever since and I told that he has to take me next time he goes there. We arrived here late morning and there was two people waiting for their order. We were greeted and asked if we were ready and it was good that the menu is pretty condensed and easy to read as I can be indecisive. I got their large Cheesy British warmed up with a side of their macaroni salad while my boyfriend got the Smokey Mountain small warmed up. The cashier was friendly and repeated our order back to ensure we got what we ordered. Once we paid, him and another employee got to work. They have a clean and well-maintained bathroom here, which was great as I did have messy hands after eating my sandwich. The interior here feels very homey with plenty of tables and chairs, tall chairs at a bar and a bench to wait for your food. They deliver your order to you if you dine in while you have go pick up the order if you did take out. You get a thank you from the employees when you pick up or leave which I thought was sweet. The menu items are really affordable and they also have great combo meals too! The options of chips they have great pairings for their sandwiches. Speaking of sandwiches, our sandwiches were some of the best sandwiches that I have ever had. They really cut their ingredients thin which I personally loved as it stays in the sandwich better and adds a consistent texture. My boyfriend's Smokey Mountain was absolutely delicious as I feel it is hard to find good spots with pastrami. We look forward to trying out more of their menu!

Hello Lakewood Friends!…read more Did you all know that you have a gem in your backyard? This deli is great! I love the way the inside of the deli is simple decor with an shoutout to 90's decor. None of the extra stuff. Just great seats to enjoy a great hoagie. The service is always top tier. The bread is so soft and the sandwiches look like a picture. Listen drive by those franchise sandwich shops and head to Hoagies Sub deli! Fresh ingredients, awesome bread, creative sandwiches, and it is always a move to support local businesses!

After that I would only visit sparingly, looking for things that were either limited or out of stock at the closest Whole Foods. As of this year, I've made it a staple spot for my vegan and vegetarian options. I've been told that they have mostly organic and fresh produce, which I'm looking forward to checking out in the near future. On my most recent trip, I connected with their deli and hot bar, which is small but not lacking in options. The salad bar has a very well-seasoned balsamic tofu, which is my favorite. I've also purchased some of their Seitan options in the frozen food area that's decent. Overall, I truly love this place. It comes equipped with a decent-sized deli dining area / small shop complete with WiFi services in the back. There you can hang out, eat, or indulge in friendly conversations. The customers, deli, produce, and cashier clerks all come together to create a uniquely neighborhood, friendly atmosphere.

It's not exactly cheap but was SO satisfying with that FRESH egg. It hasn't looked right lately and I didn't get one. Finally I straight asked the clerk if they were using processed liquid eggs now and she said yes. You have got to be kidding me? The whole attraction was the REAL EGG. Tastes like ass when you use liquid commercially processed eggs. It is NOT the same. That's why McDs sells so many Egg McMuffins cuz it has a real eggs. Marlenes is really beginning to suck on a lot of fronts. I did get a grab-and-go of garlic salmon and beef meatloaf which were good. I come for the house made food. If I want crap in a can I can get it at Whole Foods and at least they still have real eggs.
