I haven't sat down for service so I have no idea if they are full service. The ambience feels like I am sitting a cafeteria though while I was waiting for the food.. The food is over priced and a bit bland. Portions are good on some items and terrible for others. I have gone here a few times solely to get food for my company and it will continue to stay that way. Great food for a fair price. Be aware, you're eating here because you're in the area already and want to grab breakfast. The in store experience is cafeteria style. You order at the counter and the food is packed in to-go boxes. You can choose to eat in store but there's no wait staff. You get your own coffee and condiments. It appears most of the food is purchased for takeout or delivery service. I happened to be in the area for car service and decided to eat in. The food was perfectly cooked: Super crispy bacon, wonderfully grilled sausage links, delightfully crisp hash browns and nicely cooked scrambled eggs. The French Dip was amazing! I'll even go as far to say the best I've ever had! The bread was nice and soft. And after dunking the sandwich into the Au'ju sauce getting it soaked with flavor, I took a bite and I swear the roast beef was even softer than the bread! How is that possible? Needless to say the flavor was amazing and I will be having the same thing again! I'd like to try other things on the menu but knowing how delicious the French Dip is it will be hard to try something else. read more

First time to Joe's Deli. Ordered a Cubano Sandwich. They did not have the classic bread so got it on sourdough. I thought it was four-letter delicious and will be back for sure. Note: I only had the BLT. For Fife, it was 4 stars, but for everywhere else it was 2-3. 4-5 stars for the staff. They were friendly and patient. I had the BLT. It was the BLT my grandma used to make. I had it on "sourdough" which was the wonder bread of sourdough. The bacon was enough, but it was the thin kind, so it made it hard to eat as it broke apart (better than being chewy bacon though). One piece of lettuce and one slice of tomato, both were fresh so that was good, along with plenty of mayo. Like I said, just like grandma's. I will be back, I'm sure, but will try a different sandwich, maybe a wrap as I saw someone had one that looked good. There were 2 guys eating burgers, so that's an interesting option too. They do have a great menu for a deli, but with a few upgrades (bacon, bread) it could be an awesome one. read more

I recently moved to the Fife area and Joe's Deli is very close to me. I've passed it a ton of times and have been curious, but finally got the chance to try today! First off, I was super impressed by their menu. It's EXTENSIVE. There's wraps, salads, bagels, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, burgers, grilled sandwiches, and even more! There's literally something for everyone here. I went with the Tuna Melt, which was a hard decision. I wanted to try their hot Sicilian and Italian sub as well... Next time! The tuna melt was great! The bread was toasted perfectly and overall I had no complaints. Also got the chance to try the Reuben which was really good too. Looking forward to trying more of the menu! Typical deli...close to Costco business center. I had the Cali special sandwich with turkey, bacon, Swiss, tomato on sourdough bread. Lots of turkey and it was delish. My guy had the French dip. This deli took me by surprise when we stopped here the other day. My husband and I both tried the spicy chicken sub sandwich. We were both very disappointed with the lack of attention and flavors. Our sandwich was not toasted, had very little meat, some cheese alongside some sweet and chili Asian sauce. The meat seemed like it was once frozen then microwaved and the portion of meat was very minimal compared to the bun size. We might have tried the wrong menu item or came on a off day. read more

I have been ordering from here everyday for the past week. The sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients. My husband and I have tried the tuna, chicken salad, roast beef and new york sandwiches. They are all extremely good that you are so tempted to order and try something new everyday. The prices aren't bad for the amount of food you get. A solid breakfast/ lunch spot in Fife. I ordered the BLT croissant with a bag of chips for $7.99. The lettuce, avocado and tomato were fresh, unlike most other lunch spots in Fife. Young adults typically run the register and I've never had any service issues. They offer a good variety of beverages within 2 or 3 coolers and also provide drip coffee and sweet treats like cheese cake. read more

The food has been good every time I've been here. I've had the BLT, a breakfast croissant and teriyaki here. The place is clean. That being said the customer service here is atrocious. The individual who works the cash register during the day is rude and seems to lack even the most basic customer service skills. Something I've experienced with all of the staff I've dealt with here. Today I did an order online and selected to add fries to both of my hamburgers. When I showed up they advised me that my order wasn't ready because I hadn't selected that I wanted fries. Even though I did. The lady then proceeded to rudely lecture us on using the online order tool, which frankly is not the best. So I've been standing here for the last 10 mins waiting for the food that should have been ready when I showed up. There are two parts to any good restaurant experience the first is the quality of the food. The second is the customer service one experiences at said restaurant. In this case Joe's Deli is severely lacking on the second. read more

I have been coming here off and on for a while since they have really fresh food. However, i need to write about my recent visit last week which I think is my last visit. I called in a croissant sandwich for pick-up, over the phone, at about 12:20pm. What I thought was a $5.50 sandwich had random extra surcharges for cheese and for the fact that it was a croissant instead of regular bread. (Come on people, croissants should not cost more.) and - cheese? Is that not standard on a deli sandwich? It's quite like baggage fees at the airport, know what I mean? I felt totally nickel-and-dimed. Their prices keep creeping up there and have now crossed the "unreasonable" threshold for me. Also what thoroughly annoyed me was the guy on the phone (who took my order.) Absolutely 0 customer service skills. Sounded irritated that I called in an order and like he absolutely could not wait to get me off the phone. Did not ask for my name @the end. Barely allowed me to clarify the toppings that I wanted on my sandwich (I detest tomatoes.) Now I know 12:20 is a crazy busy lunch-rush time of day but, man, have some people skills and some basic niceness and customer service. I really wanted to leave a small tip (which I generally do on to-go orders too just to be nice) but on this day I simply could not. I am concerned that this is a family business and by that I think that all the (seemingly) teenaged employees there don't have the underlying drive for real customer service. If they had a non-family member supervisor to work for and had consequences for their lacking customer service then I bet things really would be different. You know, there's not a whole heck of a lot of places to eat near here. But I would eat here even if there was. A surprising selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, and drinks. Made fresh to order, their turkey pastrami with provolone is excellent. I ordered it two days in a row. Side that with some home made soup and you've got the perfect cure for those dreary Seattle days. Their fresh cut fruit container is really fresh. And they also make bubble tea! Who knew? read more

I look at this place everyday, and everyday I cringe. Ive eaten here probably 10 times in the 8 years I've stared at this place. 1st time I ate here I had a hot sicilian sandwich. Still to this day it is the only thing edible I have ever had off of this menu. The burgers are bad, teriyaki is epically bad, the wraps..... don't get me started with those and if they have anything like spagetti or lasagna, please ohh please avoid it like the plague. Pretty Gross Food. Spent $11 got a grilled turkey, bacon and tomato; A cup of cheddar potato soup and a soda. The soup tasted nasty, only one spoon full told me to step away. The potatoes were actually orange all the way through. Weird. The grilled sandwich was not grilled it was toasted. Strange. The bacon was really thin and one little strip. So most of the time there was no bacon at all in your bite. The turkey was very cheap and reminded me a grade school lunch room turkey roll. I will not be back. Buyer beware at this place. read more

I have to disagree with the great reviews so far. This was my first time here, and was looking forward to it from these reviews. The sandwich was alright (daily special chicken club) but the service was pretty bad. it was a 3 striker. 1) Cashier answered personal cell phone in middle of my order. 2) Cashier and other worker were arguing and cashier was being pretty demanding of other worker. Customers don't want to see or hear that stuff. 3) Cashier got my order wrong and didn't give me everything. Maybe the phone call ruined his concentration. I asked the cashier about my missed item, and it took me three times asking before i think the owner finally came and gave me the missed item. That being said, I will probably give the place a 2nd chance and see if the service is better, as it does seem like a good selection of sandwiches and other food items. good food or not, there will not be a 3rd chance if it's anything like the 1st :( read more
